I was trying to get a few competitive bids yesterday to fix a bumper due to an argument with a brick wall (bumper lost....). Dave was the quickest to respond AND had the best price. I was especially happy that he had an appointment for today. Marco called first and actually arrived early after I told him we were ready. He told me upfront he thought he could repair the painted section 100% but he said the textured black plastic bumper may only be 80%. I will tell you what, his "80%"is still almost perfect. Texted for a quote on a Sunday, did not expect to hear back until mid-day Monday. Got a quote back within the hour, was a very reasonable price. I agreed and work was scheduled for the next day for 1:00pm at my house. Jose was my technician. He was early, courteous, got right to it and repaired both front and rear bumpers in about 2 hours. Jose called me outside just as he was pulling off the paper and tape. The masking tape had pulled paint off of a panel next to the one that he had repaired. It appeared that that panel had been replaced and was not properly sanded, so the paint did not adhere properly. Not the fault of Bumper Time's or Jose. My heart sank. The work that Jose had done looked so great and now this ragged ugly old panel with different color primer made the job look terrible. So, I just got ready to bend over and take it like a man. I asked Jose how much it would cost to repair the old panel. Jose said since the panel had not been prepped properly he would have to scrape off all the existing paint, sand and repaint. I thought to myself, here it comes, probably gonna cost as much as the 2 bumper repairs. Jose said "No problem, I will fix it", no charge! Needles to say, it looked great!
