I wasn't sure if I'd end up needing to actually replace the bumper since there were some major cracks, but they were able to get everything looking great. Complete waste of time. I sent in a picture for a quote as clearly stated on the website. A response with quote was made with an appointment with the intention of the part of being fixed. The date and time for my appointment arrives and rather then the expectation being fulfilled; the repairman shows up and say "oh no we don't fix that, the owner is old and he makes mistakes often" a quote was given with expectation but when the day arrives I have to accept the fact that the man is old and made a mistake because he "thought" the part was plastic??? How does that even translate and make any sense? He then merely offers to call the dealership for a part cost estimate as if to just brush off the fact that plans were altered over a holiday weekend to be local and available for a part to be fixed but just to be told "oh sorry the owner is old". "He is 71 and just the other day I drive all the way to Ramona just to have to tell the person it can't be fixed". It doesn't change the fact that a guarantee of services rendered and lifetime warranty was made but I am supposed to be "okay" and accept the fact that a picture which looks nothing like plastic was seen incorrectly. Nothing was done to rectify the situation; the repairman just took pictures and continued to say the owner is old and often makes mistakes as if that was supposed to resolve everything. Do not waste your time! Soon after this review was posted, I received a call from a woman who claimed to be the owner. She stated that she didn't appreciate the comment of the owner being old and that she was the owner not the gentleman who gave the quote and made the appointment. The comment was made by her employee not me. The phone call began in a harassing and attacking tone when all that was done was an accurate experience from this business was made on a website that was created for this exact purpose. After coming at me in an aggressive manner; after I calmly restated that it was her employee that made that comment - (as if I could tell through a text message that the owner was a man or woman then even make such an observation that they were old and what age.) she then attempted to backpedal and tried apologize. However, after the experience with the repairman I do not appreciate being attacked for an accurate experience. The call was cut off right after I had stated it was her employee. I absolutely do not recommend supporting a business that not only makes false expectations but also then accosts their potential customers. read more

I was trying to get a few competitive bids yesterday to fix a bumper due to an argument with a brick wall (bumper lost....). Dave was the quickest to respond AND had the best price. Texted for a quote on a Sunday, did not expect to hear back until mid-day Monday. Got a quote back within the hour, was a very reasonable price. I agreed and work was scheduled for the next day for 1:00pm at my house. Jose was my technician. He was early, courteous, got right to it and repaired both front and rear bumpers in about 2 hours. Jose called me outside just as he was pulling off the paper and tape. The masking tape had pulled paint off of a panel next to the one that he had repaired. It appeared that that panel had been replaced and was not properly sanded, so the paint did not adhere properly. Not the fault of Bumper Time's or Jose. My heart sank. The work that Jose had done looked so great and now this ragged ugly old panel with different color primer made the job look terrible. So, I just got ready to bend over and take it like a man. I asked Jose how much it would cost to repair the old panel. Jose said since the panel had not been prepped properly he would have to scrape off all the existing paint, sand and repaint. I thought to myself, here it comes, probably gonna cost as much as the 2 bumper repairs. Jose said "No problem, I will fix it", no charge! Needles to say, it looked great!
