Bunny Bunch are the best. The way they take in our small fur friends and take care of them until someone either takes them or until it's their time. Anyone who would do research for this knows they're non-profit and have very friendly staff who are always up to chat about the hops in your life. Their groomers are wonderful as well. So far I've adopted two bunnies from them and both have very feral with equal sweetness qualities. I love them all enough to get salmonella for the rest of my life, not that that's what I want. Caroline is pretty busy as she's the main contact for everything but she does a great job responding when questions arise. Not to mention how awesome it is all fur creatures come already spayed/neutered. Takes the worry out of all that madness. And vaccinated. The stories that come out of these bunnies are really what's worth taking care of them while you can. People who abandon bunnies in shopping carts and construction work site basements should be punched and made to wear a horse-pube hair sweater for the rest of their life.

This is the most amazing place I've ever seen in my life. A sanctuary for all the forgotten pets that people buy like they are toys since they are so little and give them away once bored . A sanctuary for critters. A beautiful clean and great smelling facility. For having so many bunnies piggies and chins this place smells only of clean hay. Each enclosure was properly maintained and all the staff were so kind and helpful. I was able to adopt a 2 year old chinchilla and the process was smooth and informative and I can tell they really care. Since I got all my supplies and cage there they were able to make sure the chinchilla was going somewhere that had what it needed and a good size cage. To the people getting mad when they can't take in more animals , this isn't some huge government run operation , it's a woman and volunteers helping out of the kindness of their heart with the space available to them. Please let's stop abandoning pets not being mad when a rescue is full. Like yuck why are so many people abandoning their critters !!!! This place deserves our support.

LOVE Bunny Bunch, with a million thanks to Victoria! I adopted my new best friend Atlas yesterday evening, and Victoria was so kind to set up an appointment after typical business hours to accommodate my time constraint. She introduced me to all of the bunnies available for adoption, helped me meet all of the buns who caught my eye, and answered any and all of my questions with patience and understanding. The adoption process was smooth, but let it be known that Bunny Bunch is very particular -- AS THEY SHOULD BE -- about who their adoptees may be and the homes that their bunnies will go to. They care so much about these bunnies who have lived difficult lives up until they came to Bunny Bunch, which is why they require pictures of your setup, exercise area, and supplies in the application. You will likely speak to Caroline through email and/or text in response to your application. They will also give you a call to go over your application and discuss any potential changes that you might need to make. They give constructive criticism with only the best intentions for their buns, which I hope that prospective adoptees can understand :) I had my last bunny for 11 wonderful years yet I still learned a few new things from Victoria! The boutique inside is also wonderful, with very fair prices on supplies and a great selection! Atlas is loving his toys and tunnel that we got for him, and the hay is a great price and great quality for a large quantity. Please support this small business/rescue (and do your wallet a favor) and buy your hay from them rather than big box stores! Thank you Bunny Bunch!

Muddy hay

I usually get my hay from here, always the Bunny Bunch Blend. And I usually get the massive. My last purchase of the massive was terrible. The hay was muddy!

Bunnybunch is an amazing rescue that truly cares about the bunnies . I've been taking my Peter Pan bunny here for years and I can always rely on them for exceptional service at the Cotton Inn and grooming. They also have wonderful products and hay for rabbits to enjoy and be taken care of. Caroline actually helped notice that my bunny had bladder sluge and we were able to give him the proper care before things progressed. I know my bunny loves it here and we all appreciate the services provided here. I always try to donate whenever I see a post needing care for the angel funds or etc. Check them out because your bunny chinchilla, or little pig will appreciate it!

This review is for the grooming services and curbside pickup services provided by bunny bunch! Brought in my bunny for a full groom (brushing, nail trim, scent glands cleaned) and they did a fantastic job! Remember to make an appointment before paying online! All COVID precautions are taken seriously which I very much appreciate. Caroline took care of Tofu for the grooming and I could not be happier with the service. Afterwards, Caroline provided me with some tips for grooming, in addition to care tips for Tofu's weepy eye. We also ordered a couple things for pickup and that process was also a breeze. I would 100% recommend them for their grooming and purchasing any small pet products!

I'm so very grateful for Caroline and her vast knowledge of rabbit health and wellbeing. We recently had two phone consultations, and her wisdom and insight have been invaluable in helping us to get on the right track to treat stasis in our bunny. Thank you so much Caroline for your kindness, caring, and comprehensive approach to our bunny's recovery.

I wanted my 100th review to be something special and close to my heart and this just seemed like the perfect time to write a review about a place we now visit at least a couple times of month. My wife initially heard about this place a few weeks after we adopted a set of lop ear black/white rabbits from a friend who had a litter. We knew almost nothing we realized about keeping rabbits in the house happy and healthy. That all changed the day we walked into the bunny bunch!! The people working there are so knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and passionate about rabbits (and other small furry critters). We learned everything about caring for our rabbits from diet, litter box training, grooming and even how to pick up and hold them properly! We were going there so much that we soon fell in love with a pair of rescue bunnies that we brought home as well to bring our lop ear count to 4! We got a great vet recommendation along with helpful tips to get one of our bunnies through a GI stasis illness, neutering and rebonding our black and whites after the hormones made them angry at each other. Now we just needed to get our 2 sets bonded together. Carolyn was our savior for that daunting task. 10 days at her home and we got our family of 4 back in one pen! Bunny bunch is our one stop for everything bunny related now. They even bunny sit when we go out of town. Thanks to the whole crew there!

Best organization!!!! Love everything bunny!!! I adopted my first bunny here 20 years ago, and another bunny two years ago. I am so in love. Caroline is great. I regularly buy from bunny boutique- it's so cute and affordable!! I also use the bunny boarding whenever I'm out of town. It's amazing knowing she is in good hands when I'm gone. One time my bunny had stasis and they made sure she got vet care and gave her her meds while I was out of town. They really go above and beyond.

Oliver the chinchilla- adopted from the Bunny Bunch Rescue

I adopted a sweet chinchilla, Oliver, from the Bunny Bunch Rescue. Jennifer gave me many helpful care tips before I brought him home. The store has a huge variety of healthy snacks for chinchillas, as well as chew toys, and holiday-themed chews. They make fleece napping pouches, tunnels, and cage-liners; some of the profits go to helping the rescue care for their chinchillas, bunnies, and Guinea pigs. I'm grateful for the Bunny Bunch Rescue!

I love bunny bunch. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and helpful. They always have amazing things in the shop for my bunnies and I can always count on them. I took my bunnies there for bunny boarding and I had peace of mind the whole time I was out of town.

Caroline you aren't mentioning the virus and quarantine before any rabbits can be rescued and the tables outside that your staff can't allow any rabbits inside due to this virus. That your business is NOT accepting any rescues and I was told to take to the Orange county, animal shelter, which is a certain death sentence. This is what I was told by your staff working yesterday afternoon when I pleaded for some other resources.

The girls who run this place are awesome. We always board or rabbits with them . They always take good care of our spoiled wabbits Bonnie and Clyde. They have a good selection of toys and hay to keep your rabbits entertained and fed. They also have a home made snacks which my rabbits loves.

Ask the Community - Bunny Bunch - Orange County

I would like info on bunny bonding dates to find my boy bunny a girlfriend. Do they do that here? What's the process and cost?

Hi there, yes we do bunny dates. To adopt first step is to fill out our adoption application at bunnybunch.org we will call you to tell you about our bunnies. We set up an appointment for you to bring your rabbit for bunny dates to find a friend.

Do you board bunnies and if you do, how much do you charge?

They do! Their current fees can be found on the website cottontailinn.com on their boarding application form.

Are you guys taking in any bunnies? We got him a few months ago, but my mom and husband are allergic to the hay. I think he was born in either March or May of this year. I just want him to find a good home.

You should try an organization called... Save Some Bunny. They also have an Instagram account. Good luck!

Do you guys take in bunnies? If so do they have to be a certain age?

We are not taking rabbits in.

How much does boarding cost (specifically for a chinchilla)?

Hi there, For a single chinchilla it’s $14 each date with us. Everything is included except treats.…

Do you have to set up an appointment for photo shoots?

Never been there in my life, I have no idea!

Do you watch over rabbits and Guinea pig for a couple days? We have an emergency trip coming up and were looking for a place for our rabbit and Guinea pig to stay! If so, how much per night for each of them?? Thank you! 😊

You can text Carolyn at the above number. Yes, they do board rabbit, guinea pigs, hamsters and chinchillas. I believe the boarding fee is currently $15/day. Drop off day and pick up day count as one full day. While this seems expensive, consider it…

Can you come to just pet the bunnies? If so when and how much is it?

You can, it should be fine. You just can't pick them up. And it's free and they are open everyday except Monday and Tuesday. But they are a shelter so they are expecting you to adopt a bunny, guinea pig, chinchilla, etc.

That change, however, is not reflected in the driver pickup schedule, which still directs drivers to retrieve packages during that time. When I arrived around 9:50 a.m., one employee told me I could simply push the door open or follow her inside, and specifically indicated that it was fine for delivery drivers to retrieve their packages even while the store was still closed. She invited me in and told me to pull the door shut behind me after collecting the package. While I was in the process of retrieving and scanning the package, another employee, shown in the photo, approached me in an extremely aggressive manner and told me to "get the f-- out of the store." When I explained that another employee had just allowed me inside, she responded that she "didn't f--ing care" and ordered me to leave and come back in 10 minutes. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I was not trespassing, causing a disturbance, or doing anything inappropriate. I was following the instructions given to me by another employee. There was absolutely no justification for profanity, hostility, or being spoken to in such a degrading and unprofessional manner. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location or dealing with this employee again. I previously had a subscription and also used to buy my dog food from this store. That will now be a thing of the past. I will be taking my business to Petco instead. This situation reflects poor communication, poor management, and shockingly unprofessional customer treatment. If store hours and pickup procedures have changed, that information needs to be updated properly and communicated internally before employees start verbally attacking people for following the instructions of their coworkers.

BTW, this is a very impressive website. But was what even more impressive was our visit to the store. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome from Eddie. He was informative and passionate about the fish that were in his care. Not only did he help us select a healthy beautiful fish, he went so far as to give us some additional instructions on a handwritten note on how to acclimate our new pet to his new home and how to look for sings of stress. Our drive was about an hour away, so Eddie made sure he packed the fish well and even placed an ice pack in a box to ensure the fish did not over heat as we were in the midst of a heat wave that week. We even discussed feeding, filtration, plants, water quality & treatments. His customer service was full circle. Two weeks after bringing home "Sherman" We were ready to set up a larger 55 gallon tank for both our original fish and our new fish. We were feeling a little out of our comfort zone, so we reached out to Eddie again. Not only did he remember us, he took the time to review the key steps of setting up the larger tank as well as the steps needed to transfer both fish into their new forever home. Once again, Eddie offed key information on how to get the tank ready before the transfer. Once again, he extended the invitation to call him if we need more help when we are ready to add both fish to the new tank. His information was clear and concise which was very much appreciated.
