Excellent place for a quick bite! The chicken sandwich is probably among the best I have had. Burger is well seasoned. The staff made good recommendations and were super nice. Wish they'd had hot drinks as well. Will come back!

Tried this place on grand opening day as the name intrigued me, and the promo content I saw on instagram had my mouth watering. We ended up getting a plethora of items such as the gyro & chicken rice bowl, their chicken bites, the fries, and the banana pudding. Rice bowl had some great seasoning to it, and it all blended well together. The chicken bites had a nice kick to them, and it came with a mayo based sauce for dipping on the side. Seasoned fries were a slight disappointment, but I chalk it up to it the place being packed to the gills on opening day. All in all the food was good and I would be back to order more. As I had said previously, I came here on opening day, and the lines were long and a bit chaotic inside as you couldn't tell there were 2 ways to order. One was the guy at the register, and another was a kiosk off to the side. Food took a bit longer to get out due to the backlog of people in the vacinity. Overall, it was good, and I would want to be back to enjoy another one of their rice bowls and chicken bites!

Really appreciated the fact that the food is freshly prepared and comes out piping hot. The fries were really good, nicely seasoned and not greasy at all, actually a bit crunchy to perfection. The chicken sandwich and burger we ordered were really nicely flavored. Overall a nice lunch place when craving burger or chicken sandwich with a bit of a kick. We didn't try any drink so can't comment on the bobas they did look nice though.

Lychee mango smoothie with added metal

My wife and I stopped by this spot after checking out "Everything Games" in the same plaza. We were looking for a spot to get a smoothie or something to drink, so we saw this place had boba and went for it. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. The store looks great as far as vibe and decor, but when we approached the counter the clerk was making some drinks. There was a QR code menu that we browsed, and the clerk stated we could also use the self-service kiosk. We told her we were new to the place and she directed us to the QR code menu. We ordered the lychee mango smoothie with rainbow boba and the pina colada smoothie. It took longer than anticipated for the clerk to make two drinks, especially considering there were multiple blenders to use but they only used one I get not wanting to clean, but there were only two other patrons in the store and they already had their items. After waiting for a while for our drinks, we finally received them and went on our way. When I tell you the pina colada drink I had was terrible, I mean it. It was bland, didn't taste like pineapple whatsoever, but a weird creamy mush. My wife was drinking her drink when she tasted something odd, and pulled a sliver of metal from her mouth. METAL IN HER SMOOTHIE. See the included pictures if you don't believe me. This is incredibly dangerous and we will certainly never be coming here again! Customers, avoid this place if you can, and if not please check your food and drink before consumption. Thankfully, my wife is fine and didn't get hurt.

Cute new burger and boba spot that's opened up near by. I didn't try and boba but I did try a burger, their spicy chicken sandwich, their loaded fries, and the banana biscoff pudding. These were all very rich and good. When they say spicy, they mean spicy! So be ready for that if you're not able to handle spice. I'll be back to try their boba drinks sometime soon :)

they just started breakfast and i was excited and hoping it would be good i would say it was ok but not the best for the prices the qty was not at par as compared to other comparable breakfast options the omelette and the keema was definitely better than the halwa puri and hoping the owner sees this and improves the halwa puri the qty based on the prices is a big issue vs the market the mango lassi was tiny and so was the chai and halwa puri

07/23/25 - It's not my first rodeo at Pita Pita Mediterranean Grill (PPMG). After an afternoon of…read moreshopping @ Woodfield Mall we were hungry. My wife suggested looking on Groupon. What I found was a $40 dollar value meal for $20. I've eaten at this Pita Lita Mediteranean Grill before & @ this Palatine location on multiple occasions..Pita Pita has multiple locations. Their food is very good both my wife & I ordered the mixed meat signature plate for $19 a piece. This dish comes w/a very good variety of meats like chicken & beef shawarma, grilled chicken, grilled beef & beef kifta along with/a Mediterranean salad, yellow rice & 4 - 1/2 pocket pitas perfect for making a pita sandwich. We took the 1/2 pita & put a variety of chicken, beef, salad & yellow rice & topped it w/tahini sauce & hot sauce. This made an excellent pita pocket sandwich. The mixed meat platter makes for an excellent meal w/generous sized portions & excellently seasoned meal. In fact we had left overs so I will have lunch tomorrow. The Groupon made a good meal even better because we were able to order 2 excellent meals for $20. PPMG has multiple locations all over Chicagoland. This one was in Palatine off of Dundee & 53. I've also eaten @ the Rolling Ghetto & Lombard locations. I see they also have locations in Des Plaines, Chicago (closer to me), Skokie, 200 W Randolph (no parking). Good solid Mediterranean food & made even better by Groupon

Disappointing to say the least…read more Small portions- hardly any meat. beef was super chewy. If you're looking for Mediterranean- go to Pita Inn instead.

To clear things up about their dining area, they have 2 small tables outside and 1 small and 2 big tables inside. Small tables - 2 chairs. Big tables - 4 chairs. On weekdays, you don't need to make a reservation. On the weekends due to their limited dine in area, I would recommend a reservation to be safe. You can make a reservation through Google/Yelp or phone call. Parking is easy since it's in a strip mall. There is also a 3% charge if you use plastic. Just a note, I tried looking at their food pictures on their website, but it kind of runs slow. Sometimes it would freeze. I think they need to fix it. I would return here to try other items. I would highly recommend ordering off their Malaysian menu instead of the miscellaneous. Don't order orange chicken or General Tao's chicken. Very cringe because you can get that literally anywhere. Get the Malaysian food because it's hard to find in Illinois. The owner is very sweet and the service is attentive. We ordered lor bak, nasi lemak, Hainanese chicken rice, hokkien mee, and kuih talam. Just a FYI, the portions are very generous. For 2 people, I would recommend ordering 2 dishes. Prices are reasonable for what you get. A pot of tea is $6. -lor bak 5 - I highly recommend this appetizer. It has crispy pork sausage with shrimp fritters, beancurd, and cucumber. It comes with two sauces. Everything was delicious. -nasi lemak 5 - I love the chicken rendang. The meat is very tender and it has a deep flavor. You can taste the spices that went into it. -Hainanese chicken rice 3.5 - I gave Penang Malaysian Cuisine a 4 because the rice was delicious. HD's version, the rice was not as moist and flavorful. The chicken was not bad, it's about the same as Penang's. It could be a bit more succulent without the sauces. -hokkien mee 4 - this won't be as tasty as in Malaysia. I liked the big pieces of shrimp, an adequate amount of sliced pork and hard boiled egg. The broth is still very good. If it's your first time having this, I still recommend it. -kuih talam 5 - I would suggest this if you like pandan. It's not sweet. It has a soft and bouncy texture.
