This is a new restaurant in Oak Creek. The menu has many options including burgers, hotdogs, chicken, pizza and of course Italian beef. You can order online, at a kiosk or with a cashier. Since it was a bit busy, I used the kiosk which was easy to use. I decided to go with the beef sandwich and a strawberry shake. The food was brought to my table in a few minutes. The sandwich had plenty of meat and was tasty. I found the Dipped gravy level to be a little dry and will try the Baptized level next time. The strawberry shake was one of the best shakes I've had in a while. There were actually a lot of strawberry chunks in the shake. Yum!! There is also an ice cream shop in the restaurant. Wait time is horrible. 33 minutes for a hamburger and a hot dog. Many people sitting, waiting a long time for their food. Staff did not seem to know what they were doing. Lots of confused looks from the employees as they just stood there with food in their hands. Maybe it was a bad day but even the best food they could have come out with was not worth the cost or wait. Every place we sat to wait was sticky and there was food on the seats. Watched a couple have to clean a spot just so they could sit down. There was one guy named Joe that seemed to do his best to hold things together. He was their saving grace. Food was ok at best. They gave a single when I paid for a double. Don't want to complain because I do not want to wait another half hour for food. Was at two stars until this, had to change it to one star. This location is new and opened about a month ago. It will have growing pains. Once the staff gets their stuff together and wait times drop, this will be place to go on a Friday night. It recently opened so they are a bit slow with orders so hopefully this will go away. We ordered online and expected a free sandwich and the onion ring deal. The order rung up online at the full price but were told that when we picked it up the discounts would be applied. We asked the drive thru person twice and he responded with your card was already charged but he couldn't tell us the amount. In fact when we got home nobody could tell us whether the free deal was applied so that's a fail. For the food the onion rings come out with a light panko so definitely would order those again. The beef sandwiches were good but honestly not the best or worst I've eaten. A couple of pieces were tough but the sweet peppers were a good addition to the sandwich. Maybe I'll come back to try something else like a Chicago style hot dog and give their fries a try. read more

I am always in the mood for an Italian beef sandwich and saw that there was a new spot. I like that they have a kiosk where you can place your order. I got the Italian beef combo. There is a bit of a wait, but they were pretty busy. When the server brought my order out, I noticed she didn't bring out a cup for my beverage that I ordered. She said I was supposed to get it by the ordering kiosk. I didn't know, so I went back to the kiosk only to find there weren't cups there. The cups are actually by the employee if you placed your order with them instead of the kiosk. During my meal, the table next to me asked their server the same thing I did about their cups, and she actually brought the cups out to them unlike me. Therefore, there's some inconsistency in service. The sandwich itself was flavorful. I really liked the bread and tenderness of the beef. I did order it dipped, but there was hardly any gravy. Next time, I will order it baptized. Fries were also crispy and not bad at all. This is a newer business, so I'm hoping next time I come back they can work out these small details. read more

For a fast food joint it's decent. It's a new build so the place is nice and clean inside. There's an ice cream place connected to it which is fun. Online order we placed last night- went to pick up our food and someone else already stole it. Had to wait for them to remake it. So there are things they still need to work on. But overall the food was pretty good. Italian beef sandwich was dry- order it with extra sauce. My favorite was the chicken Caesar cutlet sandwich. I'll give it another go soon. read more

This place is a welcome addition to Oak Creek! We stopped in for lunch on Sunday and invited a big group of our friends to join us. You can order at the counter or one of the self serve kiosks. They bring your food and cups out to you when it's ready. I ordered the Kids Buona Beef with the sweet peppers and fries. My husband ordered the regular Buona beef and also added the peppers. These were really good sandwiches. Others at our table tried the salads, the Arancini beef bites (rave reviews on that!) and someone even ordered one of the tavern pizzas. Almost all of our orders came out super fast, except for the couple who ordered a sandwich and the pizza. The pizza took a long time to cook. I guess that's how you know it's really fresh! Also, they have an ice cream shop in the back and we're handing out samples. Rainbow Cone. Absolutely delicious! I'm a big fan of Italian beef sandwiches, so when this came to town, I knew I had to go check it out! The roast beef sandwich with sweet peppers was loaded with meat. I had it dipped and it was soooo good, but I think it was a little heavy on the black pepper. I also liked the crinkle fries. Service was fast and friendly. As far as prices go, I would say it's very competitive and worth the money. You're getting a good quality product for the price. Seating was in a nice bright, clean atmosphere inside, and there are tables on an outside patio if you prefer. Bathrooms were clean. I had a very nice experience. read more

Ive never tried this chain before so we ordered delivery for dinner and really enjoyed everything! My teen boys got the Italian beef which was loaded with meat and my chopped salad was enormous (I should've ordered an extra dressing). I also got the arancini beef bites - there's 3 to an order and they were tasty! The slice of classic ice cream cake was really yummy with all the different layers of flavors. Yesterday we had the opportunity to try @buonabeef and @theoriginalrainbowcone ! My favorite item was the Italian beef pizza! Just perfect! We also loved the Italian beef sandwich - so flavorful! The fries were wonderfully crispy and salty! The chicken parm sandwich was nice but I liked the onion rings even more! They were just right! The Alfredo pasta was very nostalgic and the salad had a very nice, sweet onion dressing. And you know I had to try the original rainbow cone! I've always wanted one! The food was good. Staff is new so... Takes a little bit of time for ordering and stuff as they worked through the bugs. Food was prepared pretty quickly. Place is really clean and organized. Service was good and they even come around to clear off your tables. There is a lot of stuff on the menu to choose from so I definitely will be back to try more items. read more

Went through drive thru, I'm from Chicago living in Wisconsin, I was thinking yay about time they brought chi-town Italian beef, this place in Oak creek is nowhere near the taste that they have in Chicago, you have more bread than meat they hardley give you any toppings, the meat was dry, and barely taste it, when you say baptize, they don't know what that is, the bread was barely wet, milwaukee this is not the way it's made in Chicago, put some meat, and au ju on it submerge that baby in the name of the father son,and holy spirit where it will come up dripping. i bought 2 large Italian beef and a combo fries, tea, and lemonade, 46.00 what a waste of money and gas. Im going to give it 1 more try since it just open, if it is the same I'll have to go to pleasant prairie, or cross illinois state line. read more

I was excited to try Buona because Chicago food is always so craveable. All in all, the food is moderately priced and very filling. The fried chicken sandwich is a huge piece of chicken. It appears to be more than 1/4 pound. It tasted fresh and the chicken was high quality but tasted like something that we made at home. It didn't have that bold Chicago kick, it was okay. The Chicken Parm cutlet sandwich, again has a lot of chicken. It's like two big fried chicken tenders with vodka red sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan. They use the same rolls that they use for the Italian beef, not toasted. The sandwich fill spills out the other end of the sandwich and I feel like the bread should at least be toasted with oil or butter. The chicken parm needed seasoning. Finally, we tried rigatoni vodka and I liked the fresh basil a lot. The pasta sauce was tasty and I think even putting a little basil on the chicken parm sandwich would have gone a long way. The pasta itself however, was really thick and cooked al dente. The pasta was off putting, it was chewy or gummy and the sauce did not soak into the pasta at all. The pasta came with a small piece of bread but there wasn't enough sauce to dip it in, nor was there a pat of butter or olive oil for it. The overall dining room is extremely loud and clean, with the exception of flies buzzing around. The food runners are very kind and helpful. This place verges on being cheap. You get a main, side and drink typically for $13 which, in 2026 is unheard of. I have to say the food lacking in salt and seasoning does sit well and it's not like many restaurants where you feel dehydrated from over salting. That said, this place gives be a mixed opinion.
