Always love coming in the summer to get an Italian from the grill out front. They have great bogo deals with wine in the back and have a wide array of everything (alcohol, beer, salami, cheese, pasta, etc). The staff have always been helpful if you need anything, especially at the deli. Recommend coming during the week to avoid a crowd. The place has a great vibe and smells like an Italian deli. I ordered the ham sandwich and my friend ordered the salami sandwich. We both added a raspberry paczki. The sandwiches were served on a fresh hard roll and were generously topped. I thought they were a great value for $5.75. I'd like to go back again and shop for Polish food items and soups from their freezer, as well as some of the other items in the store. Today I tried two new items: German potato salad made by the famous Pulaski Inn of Cudahy, and safe-to-eat-raw chocolate chunk cookie dough. The former was nearly as good as my grandma's, with sufficient bacon and a well-balanced dressing. I prefer it hot, so a quick trip through the microwave and I was happy. The cookie dough was excellent--big CHUNKS of dark chocolate, and a yummy base sans eggs, making it safe for many.
