I had been reading and seeing pics on Instagram and the bowls looked delish, so when the truck was outside my gym I couldn't resist. I bought two bowls, one for hubby and one for me. Both were amazingly delicious, a regular was almost too much as a breakfast/lunch, but I loved every spoonful. Super delicious and super fresh. The staff were pleasant but they could have used a little more southern friendliness. One last comment is that I could not find any calorie counts anywhere. I would guess over 500 but it's just a guess. I will certainly return.

I track down this truck furiously! They always pop up in a great variety of places, which is nice. The bowls are filling, fresh, and delicious! Also, the honey that they put in the bowl is SO good!

My friend just raved about this place and had to take me here. We tracked down the food truck (well, one of three) on Facebook and got there right as they opened at 10am. I ordered a regular Surf's Up bowl "upside down" and added Nutella for about $11. It was heavenly - like dessert for breakfast! It is evident that they truly do use the highest quality ingredients and everything is fresh. None of the bowls have particularly exotic ingredients, but they are totally customizable with the classic blends and toppings they do offer. The staff were super nice too. I would totally recommend checking this place out for a refreshing but filling snack/light meal.

Order ahead of time is the best way to go! This is my go to açaí bowl choice. They have a nice selection of bowls and smoothies. The bowls are so filling and refreshing. If you have never had a Açaí bowl- I recommend you start with the best- Buoy Bowls! My favorite is the brotella bowl. Make sure to check out their website for location sites.

Hands down best acai bowl in the triangle. 1) The base is SO THICK. They add the perfect amount of liquid so that it doesn't melt at all, even in the 90* summer temperatures. Generous portion of acai as well. 2) They use really high-quality, fresh ingredients!! Their instagram literally tells you where they get their acai from. 3) Toppings are great. They have so many options like cacao nibs, bee pollen, hemp seeds, etc and lots of different types of fruit as well. 4) Lots of options for bowls!! My personal favorite is the Surfs UP (because it has peanut butter in the base) but most of my friends get the Brotella (has Nutella on top). Something for everyone!! Be warned - the line can get long, especially in the summer. Worth it though... just don't go when you're in a hurry!! Although now they do online ordering, so you could always just order ahead if you are in a rush.

This food truck was outside my gym this week and last and I finally got to try one of their bowls! And oh my gosh was it good!!! I got the regular size of the surfs up bowl and thought it was a perfect portion for a post gym snack. It was absolutely delicious. Can't wait for them to be back in my area again soon!

My favorite food truck! When buoy bowls parked at Life Time in Apex, my fiancé brought me home a buoy bowl and I fell in love. Buoy Bowls sells several açaí and pitaya bowls and smoothies. They use quality fresh ingredients including local N.C. bee pollen and honey. I have tried a few of their smoothie bowls and like the buoy and playa bowl best. The line does get long so be prepared to wait but it is certainly worth it. I am looking forward to trying some of their other options (especially the Island bowl). I definitely recommend this food truck to others!

This is one of the best places to grab a açaí or pitaya bowl. They have good smoothies too. I've always gotten the surfs up bowl with pitaya, until recently they told me they couldn't do it anymore. The Last time i ordered surfs up with pitaya it didn't taste the same & i realized later that there was no peanut butter- so i asked the next time i went if they could do surfs up (has peanut butter in the blend) & use pitaya instead of Acai. They said they could only do it when they were slow (which at this time they were busy so they couldn't) & another time i asked they said they could only do surfs up blend with peanut butter on top of pitaya- which i didn't want. They have 3 trucks now i believe, so it's not as slow as it used to be & other than them not being able to make my favorite bowl () since they opened they have good service & they're staff is nice.

I am officially addicted to BB. I have to limit my visits to the weekend. Every time I visit, which has been quite a bit, my açaí bowl is absolutely fantastic and as a creature of habit, I order the exact same thing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a healthy option, but also still incredibly satisfying.

Be prepared to wait because this food truck is very popular. After waiting a tad over 30 minutes we were able to try The O.G. and The Hau'Oli Bowl. These were both fresh and delicious options. I can't wait to try more bowls!

I went at around 3pm on a Saturday to get some pastries for a friend's gathering and chose this…read morespot due to the proximity to their place and also the reviews online. I am so glad I went! The pastries get freshly filled with filling upon your order, and they box it up so nicely! There are aeating benches for you to sit and wait for your order, which didn't take too long. I got 3 cannolis, 2 cream puffs, and 2 cookies (I got the last chocolate cookie of the day). Service was friendly and quick as well, only took about 10ish minutes! Everything tasted amazing! And best thing about them was that it was not too overly sweet! It was the perfect amount that makes me want to keep tasting more. The cookies especially were so satisfying and soft and I loved how everything was quite decent sized as well! I will definitely be coming back!

Stevie K Certified Legit AF! This place is so phenomenal. I only get down to Apex occasionally…read morefor work and even more rare to be there on a Saturday or Sunday (the only days they're open). So when I am, I always stop by. The pastries are the best I've ever had. I am a lobster tail junkie. Whenever I'm in NY or Philly, I seek out the best. I've been to several famous Italian bakeries in these cities and never found one as good as Utica Bakery in Apex. It's world class. Just look at the cannoli cream and pistachio cream stuffing those bad boys. Their savory foods are equally as impressive. This stuffed bread with meatballs and Parmesan was excellent and I love their tomato pie (not pictured), which I have had in the past. Everything here is outstanding! If you're anywhere close on a weekend, get there asap.
