I came here bc of their Instagram and my clients have been talking about them for some time. I might have gone on a bad day, their pizza was a 3 out of 10 for me because I like pepperoni. My friend who said she's only had Domino's, Little Cesar's and pizza along those lines said this place was the best she's ever had. As for myself, I've tried Roman style pizza, Chicago, Detroit, New York and this falls short when it comes to mom and pop places from all over San Diego county, Orange County, Los Angeles County and Ventura County. I've had whole pies/pizzas, by the slice and everything in between and I can't seem to jump on this pizza train. Pizza was eaten at their location. Pizza barely had cheese. No cheese pull whatsoever. You can see the gap and tomatoe sauce showing in the photo, nothing like what IG posts. Dough bland was more chewy and limp, definitely not crispy like what others have mentioned. STALE is probablya better word to describe the overall texture and bland for taste and flavor profile. Customer service was mediocre at best. Only heard good things about this place and was excited to hear a location open up near me. My friend and I ordered the quattro gusti pizza, pepperoni pizza, and garlic Parmesan wings. Pizzas were really good and noticeably made in house and fresh. Wings portion was very generous, but greasier than what I'm used to for wings. Friend recommended this spot off of instagram. Customer service was solid but the pizza itself was weak. Sauce is flavorless and the dough of the pizza is the equivalent of little Caesar's style. Dough is pretty tough and chewy. This pizza was just very bland and underwhelming. Was looking forward to trying this spot and was disappointed. Definitely would not go here if I was local so that answers your question if you should travel. Their social media marketing is on point tho. All in all this pizza is a 4/10. I hadn't had their pizza since i visited their location in San Pedro. With this location being much closer to my house, I was more than excited to get pizza again. They did not disappoint as the pizza was perfect and had the same amount of ingredients that was once experienced in the past. Note: It can be loud there so be careful to hear your order back right. I got a crazy number and decided to cancel and order online to be safe. They do have a nice setup outside if you decide to dine in. Wanted to love this place because my husband has been hyping it up so much through their instagram from the original location in San Pedro. He always talked about wanting to make a drive to try the pizza but we've never gotten a chance to. He was sooo excited to hear that Burattino opened in Carson, which is still a good 30+ minute drive for us, however that's at least a little closer for us than San Pedro. So I'm not sure if it's just because we had such high expectations for the pizza or if it really was just ok but that's how we felt when we left. We were looking forward to the pepperoni pizza with the black garlic sauce and that was pretty tasty, however it wasn't anything mind blowing. Yes the crust was thin and yes the crust was crunchy, but the pepperoni naturally was very oily and that just was dripping everywhere. We also ordered the lava cheese and I was really excited about that. However because I knew it was going to be an overkill of cheese, I wanted to order a salad to cut the fattiness in between bites. Well that didn't work out the way I wanted because the salad actually did not come out until about 5-10 mins after both pizzas came out of the oven where we couldn't wait to eat it because we wanted it fresh and crispy. By the time, we were done eating from both pizzas, the salad still wasn't out and by then I wish we just hadn't even ordered it because we ended up taking it home and didn't even pick at it. I know they're newly opened - it might've even been their first day, but as a restaurant, you'd think they'd have something as easy to prep as a salad prepared and ready to go. Even when they gave us the salad, there was no dressing until we asked and they didn't even have caesar so we were given ranch... which I wouldn't have ordered had I known it was ranch instead of caesar. I know it's not a salad place so I'm not super docking points for that but it was definitely disappointing. Yes the pizzas were good, but they weren't good enough where I'd drive all the way to Carson and definitely not to San Pedro for. Glad we tried though. Maybe if we ever happen to be in the area, we'd come back to try the other pizzas offered that sounded more unique. read more

I've been the the location in PV and this time I wanted to try Carson location. I was impressed with the location, seatings, parking and staff. I order the 120 pepperoni XL. The crust is good but for some reason I didn't taste any of the spice in the pepperoni. They tasted kind bland with no kick. Maybe just a bad day. Still great pizza crust, greasy but good! read more

Absolutely INCREDIBLE. My boyfriend and I literally drive up from San Diego for this pizza. We've been to the Long Beach location previously and now that they have this new location in Carson, it's more convenient as it's right off the 405! All of the pizzas we've ordered have been so delicious, filled with toppings, unique sauces, great combinations, and yes, crunchy crust! 5/31/2022 4 Star Visit I saw a reel on this pizza place and was immediately drawn to try it. I live in La Habra and asked my wife to go to "IKEA". On our way I said let's get a pizza. Knowing that the Carson location is near the IKEA my plan worked. The pizza came out of the oven piping hot as I walked in. I ordered it online and that was so convenient . My draw to this pizza was the Crunch I saw and heard on social media. The pizza tasted delicious. The ranch was in my wife's words "the bomb". The pizza did lack the crunch that I saw and heard. Efficient and delicious!! Ordered online and the pizza was ready when we got there. The staff was friendly, and nice. When we ordered online I wasn't sure if they were going to have tables or it was going to be take out only. Thankfully they had a few tables to eat there and the ambiance was simple and clean.
