This is THE place to get your tires repaired in the Burbank and North Hollywood area! I'm thrilled with the service here. The two guys working there were super courteous, quick and efficient. I went in on a late Saturday afternoon. By the time I got there I was the 4th car in the lot. But they took care of all of us within the span of 30 minutes. They didn't give me a lecture or spiel about how they might not be able to fix my tires or why I should buy new ones. They just got straight down to business and hustled. After they patched my tire, they even checked the tire pressure on my spare and put it back in the trunk neatly without me even asking. They also checked the tire pressure on all 3 remaining tires. Don't bother with Costco as it's impossible to get anyone on the phone and a walk-in is like a 3-4 hour wait. These guys are also open later on Saturdays compared to other competitors in the area, which I have been to. This is the best experience I've had with a tire repair shop. Talked to a tire shop on the phone who said they'd do it for free... until I arrived, they saw it was a Tesla, and told me they don't repair it Tesla tires and tried to sell me four new tires for $350 each. Finally dropped by Burbank tire spot where they fixed it for $25 in less than 30 minutes. I came here about a month ago because I thought I had a nail in my tire and I wanted it fixed. The gentleman that helped me out named Felipe not only checked my tire I thought I had a nail it but he took off all my tires one by one and checked during the crazy heat wave and assured me my tires just need air. He put air in all the tires spent 20 mins with me and when he was done I asked him how much I owe him and he replied with zero. I couldn't believe it I felt terrible he put in so much work. I asked him to take 20 dollars at least for a tip he refused he just said please if you ever need tires come here in the future. I brought my own tires to the shop and Felipe put them on for me. Mount and balance. The work was very rapid. Felipe is a very sharp guy who is obsessed about customer service. As a very busy person, I appreciated his speed, quality work, and professionalism. The shop was busy yet they did not require an appointment and still had me in and out in 30 minutes for 2 tires. When I arrived at opening, another person was being helped (also for a tire patch). They immediately acknowledged me and told me it would be a few minutes, I appreciated that. This place was an absolute lifesaver!!! I do hope this Yelp page is for the same company - the address is the same (1700 N San Fernando) and the hours are the same, but I do specifically remember it being called "The Burbank Tire Spot" and they helped me out so much I wanted to make sure I jumped on here and left a review. Short story: They're open an hour earlier and an hour later than most competitors in the area (8-6pm; from what I could tell, most were 9-5pm), they were able to help me as well as others before me pretty quickly without an appointment, and offered me a great price. Amazing!! Long story: I had previously purchased all 4 of my tires from a Costco over five years ago, and so up until now have always gone to one of those for my tire needs. However, I needed one tire patched up, and the only appointment I was able to get there on my one day off was for 3pm. Over an hour later, they call to tell me that my tire is unfixable, and since they're older, I really should probably replace all four tires (which would run me upwards of $700). So I'm in a big dilemma: they've got my spare on my car, and I have to drive to work the next morning (and wouldn't get another day off for a week to take care of this tire issue). Not only was I not ready to buy four new tires, but they didn't even have the tires I needed in stock, so I wouldn't be able to solve this problem there anyway. After quickly searching for nearby tire places, I see that most close at 5pm. Now I'm panicking, as it's a little after 4pm. I drive to one nearby tire place: they say the soonest they can get me in is the following morning at 9am when they open (I had to be at work by 10), and for the one tire, it'll be $120. I drive to another tire place: they say they can do it right away, but it'll be $130. Fine, let's do it. As I'm signing the paperwork, they apologize since now they realize they've just sold the tire that I would need to the customer before me. It's getting close to 4:30 and I'm not sure what's the next tire place I should drive to...and on my maps, the Tire Spot is nearby and looking promising, so I rush over there. I AM SO HAPPY I DID. The mechanic was helping a customer before me, but greeted me as soon as I pulled in. Once he finished with that customer, I told him I needed a new tire - he got the size info, and said he could have the tire I needed within the hour. Seeing that they were open until 6 instead of 5, I was like YES amazing let's do it. With that, someone got in their car and went to retrieve my tire. As I waited, the mechanic brought me over a seat and then continued to help a couple more people that pulled up. They were in & out fast. It was about 100 degrees out that day, and he was clearly sweating & working hard but greeted all of his customers with a smile and gave great service. Then my tire arrived - he quickly checked the tire, put it on, and then checked the inflation of my other tires. He was finished sooner than an hour! Another bonus? They only charged me $100 total. I remembered seeing one of his first customers leave him a tip, and I thought if there was ever a time I wanted to leave a tip, it was definitely now! I was grateful that there was space on my credit card slip to tip, since I didn't have cash on me. I can't wait to tell all of my friends about this place if they ever get a flat or damaged tire - I'm so grateful to the Burbank Tire Spot and will definitely send people their way! read more
