The place is uninviting from outside, and to an extent feels like a restaurant at the verge of closing down. Walking in, things do find themselves a little happier. After all everybody loves burgers and everybody loves indian food. Great American twist of spice for life. The staff is witty with remarks, happy to indulge in a conversation about how they make different patties and open to take special requests. Once the order is placed, you will be lucky to find an open table, not because it is crazy busy but because it is a small place. I had a paneer deluxe burger and it was good enough to finish on an already full stomach but not good enough to make me want to go back. Drinks were okay too. Nothing about the place is must try. Love this place! It has the most amazing masala desi burgers. Iv never had a similar thing back home in india , and i absolutely love their masala chicken burger. Have also tried the paneer masala burger and have loved it. The food is damn tasty and super affordable. Though its a really small place, the ambience isnt great and you re better off getting the food packed. But for the price , Im not complaining. Honestly the food is not good here. I am baffled that they have 4 yelp stars. Just goes to show you people have no idea what good food is. The burgers taste like school lunch quality. Its not the worst thing you could ever eat, but if there are other options I would go with that instead. Only reason to go here is because it's open super late and the options on the ave are limited to basically here, memos (also terrible) or gyros (the better option tbh). If you're drunk and hungry this will do the trick, but if you have a choice there are far better burgers in the city. At least it's cheap right? Side note, the restaurant is filth. I cannot believe they have a "good" rating! My work has a good health rating and since we have been open we have only ever received one 10 point violation on our health reports. This place got 90 points on a health department exam in 2016. The ideal score is 0, 90 points is the minimum score to shut a restaurant down. This place was literally shut down for poor hygiene and food safety practices and it has a "good" rating?? Makes no sense! Look up their recent health department inspections and then decide if you still want to eat here. The staff is really nice tho, I would go here for ice cream or if i was super desperate, but the food is nothing special. read more

somehow, someway, this is the best restaurant I've ever been too. not just the people who work there, but the food they serve is by far the best locatJon I've ever been to for food and it's not even close. im a huge food savant, I've tried every food, seriously name it. internationally, I've been to the most coveted, signature restaurants globally. and this is the best restaurant I've ever been too. there is no explanation for the flavor and the experience this place offers. People are really sleeping on this place. I only found out about it through my desi friends. After a night out we all stopped by here at 2AM after they raved on and on about the paneer burgers. They were completely right. I'm not that big of a fan of vegetarian food and quite frankly a burger with only cheese doesn't sound very appetizing. But this restaurant puts this special sauce on the burger, the paneer cheese grilled with some heat added to it, as well as some texture it was delicious. I don't really have much else to say. The place is a little run down and shabby and tables are usually full at night. Regardless, it's a great place to stop by for some quick and dirty grub. read more

Not open on Mondays, it's waste of time going to this place. They don't pick up phone also, they delay the order!!!!!

Let me first mention the negatives- I have a feeling that this restaurant does not have a toilet(restroom) for guests to use. The person behind the counter told my husband to use the one at Starbucks or a different restaurant across the street as the restroom on site was broken. Same story the following day. Secondary, i would not recommend plate of "aloo kachodi" as that is always going to be stale as the curry is frozen and reheated. And the crust of kachodi is hard to bite on. Paranthas are also frozen and reheated so I can not recommend those to anyone. Now the great news- the place has 2 awesome burgers for vegetarians- the paneer masala and eggplant burger. Cannot recommend falafel burger as the falafel may not always be crispy and fresh. And the shakes are great too. In fact, we went back for the burgers on our day #2 in Seattle. If you love burgers and you love Indian food, this restaurant is a must try. read more

I've gone here quite a bit now and I still haven't tried the full menu. Suffice to say, I love going to this spot for late night, affordable, tasty burgers and sides. I usually get the oriental burger with mozzarella sticks, but they have like 25 to 30 burgers to choose from. In addition, if you like Indian food, some of their most popular burgers are the Paneer burger, and several types of Masala burgers. They also have branched into even doing some straight up kebab options on their menu, as well as samosas. I cannot stress how inexpensive yet tasty their food is. Most burgers are like 5-7 dollars, and they're big. And if you like mozzarella sticks I'd advice getting a double order, since one order is only 3.75$ so you might as well double down and get hella munchies! At the time of writing this, we are still currently in the Corona Era, so I should add, they normally used to stay open to 3:30am but there's been a few nights I've passed by around 2 or so and seen them closed, so I'm not sure what their normal hours are now. Doesn't look like much when you pass it but has delicious indian style burgers. I ve tried almost everything indian burger and love each and everyone. They don't seem filling but are when you start eating them. Love the masala fries! Definitely a go to atleast to try all options. There aren't many places that have indian style burgers. I can see the appeal after a night out I guess(cheap and open late hrs). I ordered the Hawaiian burger and mozzarella sticks. The burger was definitely just a frozen patty with a pineapple ring and their sauce. The sauce was ok but the patty was so thin and tasteless. My American and desi friends both love this joint so its pretty accessible. We usually come here after a play at the taproot theatre. I have been several times and absolutely love the food here. It's a hole in the wall kinda place but do have decent seating. It can get quite busy though and most of the times there are people waiting in lines. There isn't much of an ambience here and if you are looking for that, it isn't the place for you. But if you want delicious Indian style burgers/food, this place is heaven!! This time we ordered the Veggie burger, Chicken Masala burger and masala fries. You can adjust the spice level according to your taste but like Indian food it's on the spicy side so note that while placing an order. Fries are fresh with ample chaat masala powder(mixed spice seasoning) that really makes it stand out. The veggie burger is to die for! The patty is crispy and melt in your mouth all at the same time. The bun used are crisped a little bit and that adds up to the texture of it. The spicy garlic dressing/chutney elevated the taste of the burger. My friends enjoyed their chicken burger and went on for another serving of it! Their chocolate shakes are one of the best that I have had and it's a good place to fulfill your parathas(stuffed flatbread) craving!! This place is value for money with amazing food! Hidden burger gem near UW campus. Burgers here, even though were quite small, they were also quite cheap. We ordered an Hawaiian burger and a paneer burger. the Hawaiian, I have to admit, was quite odd. even though the meat was very juicy and well seasoning, the combination of pine apple and burger were just not the best. I appreciate the effort but I didn't think it worked. The paneer, however, stole my heart. It was SOOO GOODDD! The sauce they use on this burger was something special. It tied all the ingredients together, add a slight sweetness and blended so well with the tiny saltiness of the cheese that made meat lovers forget for a minute that this burger meatless. The cheese, which almost tasted like cottage cheese but had a mozzarella texture, hold itself together very well, not falling apart as one ate the burger. All in all, I'd come back to this place to eat more paneer burger or try out something new. read more

This is the perfect restaurant to be on a college campus. Burgers are the ultimate drunk/late night cheap food, and Indian food is so extremely flavorful. How can the combination of those two be anything but spectacular?? The restaurant is small and the menu is messy. But don't let that deter you! Just order the chicken tikka burger and enjoy! I was expecting a regular burger with some Indian inspired sauce, but, no, they actually cook chunks of chicken in masala sauce and put that in between two buns. It's like a sloppy joe but way way way better. And it's only $6! Granted the size is a little small -- I would probably want two -- but it's still a great meal nonetheless. The fries are a crispy and not too oily, but aren't memorable either. Back to the menu thing, they have mixed messages depending on where you look. One menu-like thing said they have sweet potato fries, but the main menu on top of the cashier didn't mention anything of the sort. That's just a cause for confusion. They have a wide variety of regular and unusual burgers (like paneer and ckicken tikka). I'd say the burgers are average, but I'd probably try it again just to try some of the other burgers. They have over 20 different burgers (although not all beef burgers. There's chicken, turkey, salmon, etc.). They also have a variety of kabobs, which I didn't try but would like to in the future. Like a typical university student based clientele, this place serves good and affordable hearty meals fast. First of all, menu is extensive. Lots of beef, chicken, and vegetarian burgers. Chicken wings are very good. One order has 6 pieces, I should have ordered 2. Avoid the ranch sauce... no good. Chicken pita is AWESOME! They offered 3 level of hotness. I am able to handle their Medium or 3 stars. May have to try Hot next time. Pita bread can barely hold the juicy chicken sautéed with onion. Don't order this on a date. 2 items costed $13. This is not the fancy and/or unique place with comfortable seating, great atmosphere, and wonderful food kind of 5-stars.. This is, however, the juicy hamburger with the works for $3.95, tasty milkshake for $3.25, and close enough to campus/work (aka- convenient!) that I could get it and eat it all in under 30 minutes (when it's not busy) kind. It's small so there's not much in the way of seating, but you can always get it to-go and eat on campus or at a park (if it's nice out).The guy that I've seen working there every time I've been in is great, and since I had no friends with me this time I got to watch him grill up my patty and put the burger together.
