I love coming here when I'm craving a burger and fries! This is my favorite fast food place by far. The staff is usually nice, and very adaptable to the customer. For example, I'm a vegetarian so they let me get a cheese burger and replace the meat with avocado for free. I love it so much, and it was a cashier who recommended I do this! Not only that, the fries are to die for! They're the right amount of thickness and softness. I also very much love their ranch! It tastes sooooo good! I highly recommend this place! read more

I'm a classic cheese burger and extra pickles guy. My burger was expertly assembled and not a single square inch was void of pickles. Condiments were applied perfectly and the quality of ingredients echoed back from 1960. All beef no bullshit. This is an independently-owned California burger joint. If you grew up in Southern California suburbia, then this kind of place will be familiar to you. Menu is a long list of everything from burgers, sandwiches, onion rings, fries to a little Mexican and breakfast burritos and sandwiches. At this kind of place, I look out especially for the chili cheese fries and pastrami. The chili cheese fries here are good... not spectacular for me. The fries are nicely fried, the cheese is good, and the chili is just OK. It's the chili that pushes it down into mediocre category. As for the pastrami... It sucks big time. Do not get the pastrami. I'm giving this place a four-star because the rest of the menu is good. The breakfast burritos are the best deal, and too much food in the morning. The burgers are really good. And the fries are nice. After trying a bunch of things here, and also really trying to like the chili cheese fries, my choice when coming here is the cheeseburger basket combo. This is a Tom's style restaurant. They serve great burgers but they also sell other types of food, including breakfast. This particular visit was all about breakfast. My cousin turned me to this place and said they served great breakfast burritos. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito. No sooner than I ordered it and sat down, my buzzer went off letting me know my food was ready. It was a massive burrito! It started off delicious with a crisp of bacon in every bite, up until I got to the end of the burrito. At that point it was just egg, no bacon, and a bunch of unmelted cheese. Needless to say I started to get grossed out and didn't quite finish it. This place was okay for breakfast. The next time I come back it will probably only be to have one of their delicious burgers and not their egg and cheese burrito, errrr I mean bacon breakfast burrito lol. read more

This is a hidden treasure for the people here in Norco. I remember being in high school attending Norco high (Go cougars ) and coming here for a breakfast burrito, which if I may add is GIANT. I've been living in Corona for 20+ years and this was my first visit to Burger Basket.....and may be the last. Ordered a bacon cheese burger with chili, a pastrami sandwich and a strawberry shake ($20.28 total)....Burger was o.k. (very similar to those made at Norco's Best). Shake was super yummy and very similar to those made at Denny's. However, my 3-star deduction was for the following: 1. Unfriendly counter girl who would barely speak. Looked like she was bored and hated her job. Never a single smile or a pleasant word to anyone while there. And NO departure greetings to any customers. Bad management/training. 2. When I requested a bacon cheese burger (which is listed on the menu) with added chili (39 cents), they de-bundled the entire transaction on the receipt so I ended up paying 50 cents more than I should have. A sweet little trick for those who can't add up what the real costs are to see how they are being ripped off. NOT cool in my book, but a nice way to pad your income and profit at the end of each month. 3. Horrible Pastrami sandwich.....Perhaps the worst I have ever had. Dry and rubbery! Where is the steam container or at least some hydrating au jus? And, to make matters worse, the idiots who are wrapping these, use foil and then cut through it with a knife so pieces of the foil get into the sandwich. They should be wrapped in sandwich paper, cut in half and THEN wrapped in the foil to keep it warm. Where is the common sense at this place?? How this place earns a 4-star rating is beyond me. Must be other items on the menu that I have not tried....OR, people these days have very low expectations at fast food dine-ins or drive thrus......Hmmm. read more

Someone said the chili cheese fries are "so good hands down" and so I tried it for myself and it really wasn't that good. Hurt my stomach after i took 2 bites of it. Tastes like food from the DEFAC, had excessively amount of chili and ground beef and was really spicy but I wouldn't go there for chili cheese fries. Burger Basket's combo breakfast burrito is hands down one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Was driving up to Big Bear for a staff retreat and a coworker said that we had to stop by this place on the way since she worked here when she was in high school and it had the best breakfast burritos ever. Usually when people say "this place has the best breakfast burritos" blah, blah, blah, I'm a bit skeptical because I've had my share of breakfast burritos and I'm a little picky when it comes to it. The moment this giant burrito came out I was already impressed. These are huge. Filled completely with hot goodness. The bacon is super crispy and everything in it is just amazing. Their in house salsa is one of the best I've ever tasted. I could drink it by itself. For the price, definitely worth it. Service was quick and good. I've stopped by this place on the way back from Big Bear a couple of times now and it's always amazing and worth it. I've been coming here since I was a kid and they had their restaurant a little down further on 6th st. I came today. Long line but that's expected. It's a very popular place. It's my daughters favorite so I don't mind waiting. Girl that took my order over speaker kept cutting me off as I ordered. I finally pull up to the window, girl who's there has the worst attitude. I was like umm okay. I give her my money she hands me my order and I guess she expected me to leave. I still hadn't received my change so I'm sitting there waiting and the girl opens the window and looks at me. I ask her I need my change. And she said "she's talking an order." (She pointed at one of the owners) she finally hands me my change and still with crappy attitude. I tell her can I talk to her and I pointed at the manager the manager looks at me and I tell her that her employee has really bad attitude and she said "oh it's cuz we're training" oh okay I guess that makes it okay. This is true SoCal home style food and we loved it! The long drive thru line and packed tiny parking lot was an indicator this place is a Corona hot spot! They have a wide variety on the menu like burgers, sandwiches, burritos, and such and also serve breakfast ALL DAY!!! For two people, it was just under $20 and I didn't order a drink so maybe a little pricey but you have to remember it's NOT fast food. It's made fresh to order but fast! I was sad when Burger City Grill in Norco changed their cheeseburgers to make them more "gourmet." To me, they were the perfect mom and pop burger I constantly craved and they went and ruined it. Thank goodness some people at work encouraged me to try Burger Basket!! I feel dumb that it's right around the corner from my office and I had never tried it. Once again, I have found my go-to mom and pop burger and it's soooo delicious. Burger basket is probably one of the best places to get a breakfast burrito. The burritos are too big for me to eat in one sitting so I have to save it for lunch usually. The burrito is a little less than $6 and comes in three selections. Bacon, sausage, or combo which is all the selections put into one. Has anyone noticed they are watering down the ranch dressing with tap water? You can totally smell it. It use to be nice and thick that's why we liked it now it is so watery it doesn't even taste like ranch. I have diabetes and I like how the people are really nice there when I sometimes request certain things to be left out of my order. The ladies there always are very happy to help me out. I must say, for Corona I'm impressed. Not only is it NOT A CHAIN its also decent. I had their veggie burrito which was about the same as a Taco Bell, or Del Taco, but it was indeed huge. Unappetizing, yet huge. My friend got their breakfast burrito both days we were there. She claims to crave it regularly. Speaking of cravings, the day after the veggie experience, I wanted french toast & they were able to deliver. A pretty big plate of FT with eggs & bacon all for less than 5 bucks. BOO-YOW! This location never EVER disappoints for me! The place is clean and updated. The food is always consistent with taste and presentation. The burgers are off the chain, and lawdy don't let me go ham about those zucchini fries! And them onion rings tho,......
