    Greasy tasteless enchiladas.
    Mikal S.

So this place is not bad, but not good either. Let me explain. I went for enchiladas and my partner went for the hamburger. We asked for no sauce on the burger and the cashier excitedly said yes! We got our food to go and we were in a rush, because usually we check our orders to confirm accuracy. Well we got home and realize that there was in fact sauce on the burger, a ton of it actually. So that's a bummer. When it comes to enchiladas, If I am not mistaken, they usually contain sour cream, cheese, veggies, or a combination of them with choice of meat. These sad puppies literally had only meat and grease inside them. The only take away on this plate were the rice and beans that came with the enchiladas. We won't be coming back, unless to get a refund on the burger.

Um equivalent to In-N-Out??? No honeyyyy. I don't see nor taste it! Honestly the hype from yelp got me a bit excited about this place but I mean really comparing it to In-N-Out plz nothing beats In-N-Out. Especially the fries idek why people say the fries are similar bc they ain't. The fries here are literally undercooked and soggy af not to mention THEY DONT EVEN PUT SALT ON THEM. My friend even found a nasty green looking fry. Like wyd??? Anyways the service was great! The employee was nice and made small talk with us. Interior is like a 50s diner feel. The burgers themselves weren't too bad they just kinda reminded me of McDonalds. Now I don't know if that's a good or bad thing I'll just let YOU the reader decided that! But yeah they have this thing called the "fry sauce" which is pretty much ketchup mixed with mayo. I don't necessarily see myself coming back here HOWEVER I do recommend trying their Mexican restaurant right next door that was pretty good and cheap!! Definitely check that out before going here. Also the location kinda sketch since its Tacoma so stay safe homies

Great food, love it! We used to order from here all of the time. We only had one issue the last time we bought food here. We paid for 14 tacos and once we got home we noticed there was only 12 in the bag. We live a few minutes away, so we asked if we could pick up the other 2 or receive a refund, but they refused to do so. We even took pictures, but the manager said we were lying and was rude. Me and my wife really like the food here and would come here almost on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, we will never buy food from here again- due to their poor customer service, lack of willingness from management to mitigate the problem, and for literally stealing money from us. We will be filling complaints with multiple city and state authorities.

Ok so I got here a few months ago, and I was a little shocked that In N Out does not have a location here. I mean seriously they have just opened like 8 locations in Dallas Texas over the past couple of years, so How the Hell do they not have a location here in WA? --Unbelievable.-- So I have been looking around for something that resembles a decent burger here... I looked all over and found a few acceptable choices. Today, I came here to Burger Broiler looking for a juicy chargrilled burger never imagining what I would find here..... It makes PERFECT sense when you think about it.... What do Smart Mexican people do when they are missing the Yummy In N Out burgers they loved in Cali?? I'm glad you asked ..... Do they sit around whining about not having any way to get their burger fix? NO... they open a Burger Broiler and make the damn burgers right here. PROBLEM SOLVED. Oh but wait it gets better.... FLAME BROIL the patties and now its NOT an "In N Out knock off", No sir... its 100% better !! SO take your happy self to Burger Broiler and fall in love. The grilled onions weren't on it, but I can live without that. FIVE STARS for Clean, Hot Fresh Food, And Price SUPER CHEAP. Hard to park there, so be ready to weave in the lot. If the persons you go with like Mexican Food there is a good place next door, but GET A BURGER!!!!! DOUBLE Cheese Burger with Fries and a Drink under $7. YUM To me HANDS DOWN BEST BURGER IN TACOMA.

Great burgers. A little pricey. Fries were yummy! Located on 38th and McKinley. Tight parking spaces since it's also shared with a taco shop next door. The sauce for the fries was good!

I ordered a double cheeseburger and bacon cheese fries through door dash. The fries were delicious but when I bit into the burger something tasted off. Thought maybe it was bad lettuce so I removed that, took another bite still tasted weird, took a bite from a different spot and it still tasted weird... through out more than 3/4 of the burger. Something was seriously nasty in there and I'm not sure what it was .

There are a bunch of mixed reviews on here comparing this place to In-n-Out. So I will be another one to agree that this place comes pretty close to In-n-Out! Which makes this my favorite burger joint in Washington. I really like how they have a little condiment station where you can get banana peppers, which is a total In-n-Out thing! Service is great, the ladies that I've encountered are all friendly and polite. I deduct a start because there are a few times where I had to wipe my own table. Also, the soda machine where you can customize your own flavors are very limited. I get super excited whenever I see a restaurant have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine because that means I can get a vanilla coke. But they didn't have that option, or much other options :( Other than that, I really like this place. Unlike In-n-Out where they have a small, simple, menu; Burger Broiler has other things like chicken wings, onion rings, and fish sandwiches. Their buffalo wings are pretty good, so definitely give those a try! They have their own parking lot, which is nice. However, be aware of your surroundings when outside because I've seen people stand around by cars or sitting on the curb in the parking lot. So definitely keep an eye on your car while inside the restaurant.

I literally ate everything on my plate. Then we came back on a Saturday early evening. And the food tasted old. I noticed when I was checking my receipts on Saturday. The guy has said oh you don't have to tip because you're a huge party. When a party of six your tip is automatically included which is the 18%. and I was like oh wow we had six on Tuesday and I left a $25 cash tip. And he said although waiter should've told you it's automatically taken out and the 18% was already taken care of. And I was like no I handed the waitress $25 cash and she never said 18% was taken out and I didn't pay attention to my receipt cause I had children with me but then when I looked back in my car on Saturday night from Tuesday, I realize that she double charged me. So on Tuesday she got over a $50 tip. The waitress on Tuesday she was a Hispanic lady with dark black hair. She robbed me. So please be aware you're going with the party of six or more. They automatically take out 18% gratuity. And I did not like that because she should've told me that you don't have to leave cash. She knew my kids were crying and I was trying to yo leave and not distract the other guest. But on the positive note, the place is nicely decorated. And service is good. I just felt robbed, so for that fact I will never ever be coming back. If you were looking to try this place for the first time come early if you want hot fresh food. My last review was honest but a 1star- now they could have ignored it, denied it or even got rude about it- after all others have (see aspen house) But no, they reached out and asked to open up dialogue- they asked what could be done and they APOLOGIZED- ownership and accountability! The communication was on point and the definitely made good on everything! So we set out to give it another go- and seriously- I may have a new place to hang out! As a non drinker your average joint has water juice or soda- not here The selection of non alcoholic beers and the DELICIOUS MOCKTAILS!!!! A place that doesn't get upset when you order a fancy non alcoholic drink- and you get the feel of being a part of it all not just sippin a soda! Loooved ! Personally hooked on the sweet n tangy- (Sweet & Tangy DHOS Orange, lemon & lime juice, simple, & raspberry puree ) ---delicious! My partner tried a couple non alcoholic beers he didn't even know existed- excellent variety to make everyone feel a part of the crowd!! And if you love a good drink?? They only carry high end liquor and make their drinks definitely top notch! The kind of place that values quality!!! While keeping the prices competitive and honest! Now the food- BRIE- ohhhh the Brie dishes!!! Not many places create food art- creative delicious classic combos with a unique twist! Absolutely the place to check out and try a new dish! Unique items that I'm dying to go back for!!! One definitely to try-- "Apple Brie Grilled Cheese Apple chutney with caramelized onions, granny smith apple slices, brie & cheddar cheese, melted between parmesan crusted 3 Hearts Bread" yummmmmmm The best part though- the people- friendly outgoing crew that you can tell genuinely care about each other and also care about making sure that the people stopping by have a wonderful experience!!! If you're in the area or live near there- check them out- definitely the kinda place to stop in on the regular and make it a thing!!!! Can be smidge hard to find due to construction that should end soon but worth the hunt!!! A total Gem!! Good quality food, excellent service, and a 10/10 place to stop in! Finally got a chance to try it at noon today, and it was a great experience! Environment: The overall vibe is very American. There were TVs on the walls constantly playing various ball games, like today's playoff game between the Thunder and the Lakers. It was pretty busy on the weekend, especially the outdoor seating area, which was almost full. The building is an old structure dating back to the 1900s. Though it shows its age, it's very clean both inside and out--you can tell the owner really cares. Service: Our waitress was very, very friendly and professional. She gave us great recommendations, always served with a smile, checked in on us during the meal, and refilled our water. Very satisfied! Taste: Pizza: There's a funny little story: supposedly, Marco Polo went to China and saw pies, but didn't know how to wrap the filling inside, so he just put it on top--and thus the pizza was born. Personally, I think this is a myth, or many people have started fantasizing about Marco Polo because they think he was too great. But according to various unearthed historical records in China, Marco Polo never actually went to China. In fact, around 2010, more than 20 scholars organized an event called "Retracing Marco Polo's Route." After completing the journey and comparing it to what Marco Polo himself recorded, most of them concluded that he probably never made it to China. Sorry, I have a strong urge to share--went off on a long tangent about Marco Polo. But the pizza was really delicious. It should be truly fire‑baked, not oven‑baked. The sauce was well‑balanced, and the toppings were generous and fresh. My wife and I ate more than half of it! Salad: The dressing and cheese were very generously applied, and the greens were fresh. Chicken wings: They had a pleasant sweet‑savory taste, just right. Unlike most American restaurants where they're too salty or too sweet, these were perfectly balanced. All the dipping sauces were good. Overall, highly recommended!
