Burger Me! Restaurant exterior; Summit location
    Myrna S.

We were in the area and I decided a burger sounded good for dinner; so, before we left, we dropped by Burger Me! to order a burger to-go! When we entered the restaurant, they had a few customers but not overly busy. We approached the cashier (as opposed to ordering at the kiosk-- keep humans employed!) and I ordered the lamb burger. After a few minutes, I received my order and we were on our merry way. The burger was visually enticing (albeit too much arugula for my liking but that's my personal preference), I liked the flavor of the lamb burger patty; it was seasoned nicely and cooked well, the tzatziki sauce complimented it perfectly. My only critique was the bun could've been buttered and/or kissed the grill for a bit, it was too plain and dry for my liking. With that said, my overall first impression of Burger Me! was still positive and their service was good; the staff was friendly; so, I look forward to trying them and their other burgers next time we're near the Summit Mall.

The Cowboy Burger with Onion Rings

Went here on a recommendation from a family member. I was not disappointed. Located in strip mall of high end stores, this place has a prime location. You order at the counter and call your name when it's ready. Although, they brought it to my table as a courtesy. There is an old school arcade for you to enjoy while waiting. The staff is very polite and courteous. I let them know it was my first time visiting and what did they recommend. I was pointed in the direction of either The Smash Burger or The Cowboy. I ordered The Cowboy with a side of onion rings, and boy was it delicious. BBQ sauce and jalapenos, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, 1/3 lb beef patty and two strips of bacon, on a buttered bun. It was one of the best tasting burgers I've had in a long time. The onion rings were huge, but light, crispy and fresh. They offer fountain drinks with orange Fanta and Pepsi products. Orange Fanta is a favorite of mine. This is my go to burger spot when visiting Reno, from now on.

Quick and polite service with quite a few burgers to choose from, including Bison burgers. Fries are tasty and so are the onion rings. Check it out, it's right next to the theater.

Dust on the Napkin Dispenser at our table.

First timers here on a Sunday afternoon 2/9/25. At first glance this place has a really nice vibe. The decor matches their menu, with pictures of a Cow, Pig, Bison and Chicken,...interesting. It's actually very nice. The service on the otherhand could improve. The girl that took our order wasn't too friendly. Actually, both employees I interacted with could benefit from training on Customer Service. Another thing that caught my eye was that there was an unusual amount of dust on the napkin dispenser at our table (see picture). Thinking it was just ours that was possibly missed at cleaning, I checked the booths in front and behind us and both dispensers had quite a bit of dust on top of them as well. Ugh, not something you want to see before you even get your food. Oh well, the rest of the place looked really clean, so we just hoped for the best for our food. I had the build a Burger which was $8.95, added cheese for $1.50 and made it a combo for an additional $3.50, to add fries and a drink. My burger was good and although I ordered it well done, it wasn't dry. It was also seasoned well. The French Fries were cooked well, but a bit too salty for my taste. My husband ordered a sandwhich from the "Favorites!" menu. He actually made his a combo for an additional $3.50. He had a beer, so he actually did not get to benefit from the soft drink in the combo. I don't really like this system. I think it's safe to say, we didn't have the best Burger Me first experience.

    Re-do. Separate meat and bread.

This is the classic greasy burger joint, and you can tell as you slide up to place your order. The onion rings are BIG, but just remember to use your napkins to soak up the excess fat before it settles into the batter. I couldn't finish the onion rings, but neither could the people that left before me. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak as it was one of the featured pictures on the menu. It probably sat a little too long as the bread got soggy and fell apart. It's hard to eat a cheesesteak with only the top bun. The staff was quick in making another sandwich and separating the bread from the meat/cheese/toppings so that it wouldn't get soggy. The cooking can vary any day of the week. As this was a Saturday after movies finish, I was imagining a different dining experience. It may also be the item that I ordered. Other places I have reviewed make top-notch Philly cheesesteaks, so it may be unfair to compare Burger Me to these places. If you're hungry after a movie, you should give it a try and make up your own opinion.

Simply put, good burgers. Because they don't rush cooking the thick chunk of meat {you may need to take one bun off to get your mouth around it}, they use fresh veggies and the cheese is melted so good that I wanted to drink it...yes I said it. Drink cheese. The onion rings crispy and then chewy. Folks are friendly and the environment is nice too

In a crowded scene of great restaurants and bars, there are definitely opportunities for improvement for the Brass Tap to stay competitive.

They will speak to you nicely and give leave you with empty promises that sound good so they don't have to speak to you anymore. So much so they think they can hide behind a phone when they do customers wrong. As soon as i get back to Reno an in person visit will be the next step until this is resolved because it's just wrong. On June 22nd I purchased a meal which was incomplete. Before I left the restaurant the cashier/hostess told me everything was in the bag. Felt good. I get back to the hotel and open the bag to find out we are missing food we were charged for. The food that was missing was for my 5 year old daughter who ended up having to eat food from another restaurant because BJs fell through. I call BJs back that night to explain. They apologize, and offer to comp the food we didn't receive. I think everything is good to go. I wait the 3-5 business days and nothing. I call back ask to speak to the manager, Riley, who apologizes again saying the previous manager didn't send the refund all the way through. How that is possible, I don't know, but whatever. People make mistakes. He then offers to comp the whole meal due to the delay. I say thank you and wait another set of business days. I call back again to follow up as there is still no refund and now it's a cat and mouse game. It's now impossible to get a manager on the phone, they wont return my call let alone fix the situation by doing the right thing. Never in my years of life have I ever seen a restaurant charge people for food they don't serve you and not refund you. I urge anyone to stay away from this place and to save grace. You may stir up emotions unnecessarily because you chose to eat here. It's ran by young people who probably don't want to be there. They do not understand integrity or doing the right thing. Spend your money somewhere else. Save the headache. Just to add, the restaurant was completely empty and still had to wait an extra 20 minutes on top of the original wait time. Every worker crowded by the bar was not doing anything but watching time die. The Managers don't seem to manage anything.

How's that for an opening. We went to Bistro 7 to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at 5pm, wanting an early dinner. The place was basically empty, with only a couple of other tables occupied. After perusing the menu, orders were placed for both appetizers and mains. The appetizers arrived pretty quickly. I must say the calamari was pretty good, nice batter and the pieces were pretty big. We ordered the tempura green beans. Not my jam. The batter was soggy and the green beans had a waxy taste to them. Not for me. After the appetizers we waited for our mains....and waited.....and waited. We were finally served our main courses, probably 45-50 minutes after we arrived. Remember the restaurant was basically empty. I ordered the Ribeye. There was nothing wrong with my order, my meal was fine but not worth the $47 asking price. The steak was way to thin for a proper Ribeye. My friend ordered the Steak Sandwich. He said that his sandwich was more tendon and gristle than steak. Very unfortunate. Another friend ordered the fish taco's. Completely devoid of any flavor and clearly not worth the price. One of our friends ordered a simple burger but wanted it well done. The first burger was served a very rare. It was sent back. She did not receive her second burger until well over an hour after we first arrived. Everyone was literally done with our meals, before her corrected burger arrived. In fairness, the manager did come over and apologized and did removed the charge for the burger but does it really take so long to correct an order for a burger ? Like I said the wait staff were friendly and were working hard but based on the quality of the food coming out to the kitchen, not to mention the absolutely unacceptable time before our food was delivered, there are FAR better options in Reno.
