So this review is more about the service and incompetence at this location than the food itself. The food is ok to good. When it's good, it good. Still probably overpriced, but good. The problem is two fold. The food is inconsistent. U ask for a medium burger...sometimes it's pink sometimes it's well done. And this happens a lot. But the main thing is they get my order wrong 75% of the time. Like another reviewer I'm stupid for thinking things will change and keep trying. Maybe I have too much faith in humanity or something. Literally we are creatures of habit. We order the same thing every time. They forget to put my wife's mushrooms on almost every time. And they always forget to add bacon to mine. Sometimes it's the person taking the order that gets it wrong. Sometimes it's the people in the kitchen. And I can promise you I am not making this review after one instance. I have eaten there 15-20 times. Not trying to be negative, but after 3/4 times getting food to go only to get home and find it's wrong, I am in here writing my first review of anything in years. I have never rated a negative review. My son and I were shopping at Summit Mall. He was hungry so I suggested Burger Me, which I hadn't been in for a decade. My last experience was not good, so I never returned. My son asked if we could not choose Burger Me because he and his dad were there recently and had very slow service and their food was mediocre. We ordered for my son. We were a bit annoyed when 30 min. had passed, and guests who had entered and ordered after us had their food and were finishing their meals. The restaurant was thinning out. Finally a young female employee came and asked what our order name was under, and then returned to the kitchen. We realized that three cooks and three other employees were too busy standing around, to check back on us. 45 minutes, $15 we lost, as we walked out without either. We walked out, to Never Return. Hands down amazing! I had the seasonal elk burger, which I'm not usually into the more "exotic" meats, but WOW! It was amazing. The garlic parmesan fries are a show stopper. Absolutely LIFE CHANGING, the best garlic fries you've had in your life, I promise! I was very impressed with the service too. I wouldn't expect the staff to be so attentive since this is a very casual dining establishment, but I was pleasantly surprised! And the food was only a few dollars more than what you'd pay at a standard burger joint, but far and above, the best burger one can get in Reno! I'll be heading back again and again. Went to try this restaurant for the first time because a burger just sounded good. A little pricey but most are anyhow. They messed up my order. When I told them that I also said just to cancel it because I am not a fan of sending food back. She still tried to have the kitchen make another order. I told her a second time to cancel the order. It took her 15 minutes to finally return our money. And it took her two trips since she only refunded the burger price when I also sent the fries back. I don't mind an order getting messed up. But when they ask for the tip up front before any service has been done, that's a little much. And to top it off, nobody even apologized for the screw up. Terrible service. Over cooked burgers...Again and Again... So I've eaten at the Burger Me in Northwest Reno on many occasions and have always had good food and service. I now live down on the south side of town and have gone to this particular location on two different occasions, of which both times I received an over cooked hamburger patty. I'm not sure if it's me, but they never asked me how I want it cooked. The first time I said something to the staff about the blackened, dry hamburger. When approaching the front counter with it, the server said something about the over cooked meat before I said a word. They apologized and corrected it by making a new one. I figured it was a one off and no big deal. The second time receiving over cooked burgers (Yes burgers as in multiple in one sitting as I had the family with me) and there seems to be an issue. Now I'm sure there are people out there who like an overly dry, blackened burger, but I am not one of them. I did not say anything this second time around as I was NOT HAPPY and probably would have said some not so nice things to them. This location needs someone to manage the grill better so as NOT to over cook the burgers into a piece of dry leather. The rest of the food and service is good, and the Northwest location has always done well for me...just not this one in South Reno... read more

The burgers were warm again - not even hot from the grill. We ordered four burgers and four fries . Two were to be garlic fries. We were given four Luke warm burgers. Two of them were wrong . In fact two were just a burger and one slice of lettuce.... not the Bison burger with all the works. The people that ordered behind us were served first and brought their food back to the counter and left. One french fry was missing the garlic. The ketchup bottle on the table was empty so we used ketchup from the pump dispenser. We went to your shop when it first opened . Your burger were large and the French fry plastic platter was large like the one in your photo. Now the Burger is the size of an egg McMuffin and the fries could fit in a child's bathroom paper water cup. Who is in charge of your daily operations ? $55.00 wasted . I would normally give this place a five star rating as we've eaten there before, however, we ordered our burgers and did not get what we ordered because apparently if you just say bison burger or elk burger they "assume" you want the basic vs the ones on the "favorite " menu. Perhaps when ordering & someone says "elk or bison" burger you should ask them which one. When I explained it's not what we ordered, the guy said he just "assumed" that's the one we wanted....so the moral of the story at Burger Me is say "exactly" how it's listed in the menu....word for word...so they don't just "assume" what you want because they won't bother clarifying it read more

Stopped here while waiting for an appointment at the nearby Apple Store. Such a good spot! The onion rings were probably the best we'd ever had. They were so big and thick they looked like donuts. Probably could've filled up on just onion rings and a beer. Friend got he stuffed burger and was raving about it. I got a southwest veggie burger and it was great. Love the sauce they put on it. Didnt even know this place existed untill i was picking up a ring at a jewler at summit. What a neat burger joint. Modern decor, awesome burgers, and when you order a basket of fries, theres not skimping on the quantity. I personally think Burger Me is a great resturant. The location is excellent, the staff is friendly and the food is really good. I have seen reviews that state that the service is slow. IT IS NOT FAST FOOD! I think that anyone looking for a "quick sling it together" will be disappointed with the more even paced service. The resturant is growing and I look forward to more locals as they spring up. Price is reasonable for the quality of food. I dont know, maybe we missed something,maybe or was an off night, but everything about this place was just ok... except the bill. The burger was bland, the toppings generic, the portions were average. The bill was almost $50 for 3 burgers 3 drinks and 1 fry. The food was not bad, and the service was good but I just dont feel we got value for our money. Honestly I've had more flavorful burgers from McDonalds.
