Have tried this place twice now. First time I tried the spicy chicken sandwich, but requested not to have any of the spicy components. The chicken is grilled and I was surprised that it was marinated in a yellowish mayonnaise sauce. I'm not a fan of mayonnaise but there wasn't much on it and the sandwich overall was awesome! The second time I tried the fried fish sandwich -- bun and breading were really good, but the fish seemed frozen and didn't have much taste; I would not get the fish again. My 3 stars are based on my to-go order and food experience, would it be only based on service and cleanliness of the place I would've gave them 5. I went last Saturday 5/14 at around 11:15am, I went because of the good reviews of course ;) ;) Costumer service was great, the gentleman working in there was very nice and helpful. I ordered lunch to go for 4, got a Hawaiian hamburger, a turkey Hawaiian burger, a spicy chicken burger/sandwich, a hamburger with no cheese & 4 orders of French fries. Everything seemed fine until they gave me my order in a "kinda too small paper bag for so much food" and as soon as I got into my car the paper bag was getting wet from all the burgers juices/grease! So I went back to get paper towels to put underneath it, drove home all stressed out because I could see my car seat getting full of grease. I called the place and nicely asked the gentleman why they don't put their to go orders in boxes and he told me because they just wrap them up and put them on paper bags, I suggested to him that it may be a good idea to put them on boxes because all the juices/grease were leaking in my car seat, he said he was gonna mentioned to the company.... I got home about 15min after I got my order and when I got everything out, it looked SO NASTY! I felt so mad and embarrassed of bringing that to my family, (I told them I was bringing lunch from a burger place that had great reviews) everything was compressed into a soft, saggy, wet, greasy and unappetizing mass of "stuff," my 9 years old son saw the fries and yelled "ewww!! What's that???" I felt so bad. :( In spite of the nasty appearance of the food we all ate the "burgers" (some) plus a few fries, my son had no complains about his, he didn't eat the fries tho, husband liked the spicy chicken sandwich and fries, daughter only ate some of here Hawaiian hamburger and no fries, I ate some of my turkey Hawaiian burger and fries the flavor wasn't bad at all but I couldn't stand the appearance...sorry but ew! Damn good burger but crappy service. I love that you can build your burger from the bun up and I love even more that it tastes amazing. I can't rave enough about the quality. It's there! But the thing that isn't there is the service. Our cashier had zero enthusiasm and didn't look at all happy to place our order. I don't know what her deal is, but first impressions count and this was one that almost made me walk out the door. Another complaint I have would be the temperature inside the restaurant and the wet floors. They'd obviously just mopped everything down (more like pressure washed because there was still a thick layer of water on the ground) and water on smooth concrete is asking for someone to eat it. I have very good balance and I nearly busted my ass twice just because I was on their ice rink of a surface. 2nd thing, I don't think they turned on the A/C. Their establishment is hotter than the devil's butt cheeks. I was sweating more inside than I was walking outside at the Space Center across the street. They should fix that. Other than the service, hot air, and wet floors, I'd probably go back to Burger Nation, just not this one. read more

Had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, totally underwhelming! The Buffalo sauce was mediocre, chose the sourdough bun for less sugar and it was sweet like a Hawaiian roll! No pickles in the sandwich, wth? Ordered fried green beans thinking I was getting TGIF style battered... uh no! They were just fresh green beans thrown in a fryer & ruined. My husband ordered the flaming hot Cheetos burger with the Leto bun. It was a do it yourself, Cheetos came in the side in a bag. We ordered both the build your own beef burger and build your own elk burger. Both burgers had good flavor and were cooked well. The buns were toasted to where they were crispy around the edges but soft everywhere else. The menu is quite expansive with multiple types of meats you can get for your burger including meatless options for vegetarians and vegans. There are also tons of toppings you can choose to make almost any kind of burger you could imagine. Overall it was a good burger spot that will take some time to get to taste everything you'd like to try! Will be back to try some different kinds of burgers! read more

We actually came here by chance, truly a hidden gem! The man in charge was very nice and helpful excellent customer service. They have a lot of options if you choose to build your own burger which I did and it was great! With several breads and toppings you can load it up as much as you'd like. First time in, immediately greeted by the owner, Tony, who showed me the ropes. There are touch consoles to use to place your order, then pay and grab your receipt. Set up is easy to use. You get your own drink and can pick up your own food from the pick up window. Tony brought me mine. I can talk a lot so Tony was polite and listened to me, which was very nice of him. Then 3-4 more sets of customers came in so I started focusing on my food. I just got a basic burger with fries and a drink. The sourdough bun was awesome and the entire burger was juicy and delicious. I couldn't eat all the fries but they were good, too. I told Tony I'll be back with my husband (had to be sure they serve beer, which they do). Give it a try if you haven't yet. I was in & out in about 30 mins so it's a great option for me on work days. All the staff were wearing masks, friendly and seemed like they enjoy their work. It was a pleasant environment. I can't believe they've been there for 5 years and I've not noticed before since it's pretty close to my house and we drive this way quite a bit. Wow!! First time visit to this establishment and I'll definitely be returning. For starters I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by two very cheerful employees. They ask if it was my first time, I said it was. She immediately came around to my side of the counter and explained the menu and ordering process as well as giving me suggestions and helped place my order. The hunt for a mindblowing mid-range Clear Lake burger continues. Checked this place out for the first time today based on Yelp reviews. I got the All-American, Single and a side of fries. The burger ended up being a lot of bread. The sourdough was soft but it completely dominated the burger. Obviously the bun was chosen for BIG DOUBLE burgers with loads of crazy things like hot cheetohs and chili and mac n cheese. So bummer. I was looking forward to the fries as their website says they are cut fresh. But they don't know how to cook them so I ended up with limp, greasy fries. Disappointed. Perhaps their crazy concoctions taste amazing and if I ever get a hankering for a 1/2 lb burger with bacon and mac n cheese, maybe I'll come back. They have loads of options on their menu, you could build anything you want. But if ya can't build an outstanding basic cheeseburger, I'll have to pass. My partner had a mighty need for a burger, so I did a quit search and we found Burger Nation! Looking on their website I saw a burger with an EGG on it. I had to have it, and they did not disappoint! The presentation was lovely, the flavors were amazing, my only "complaint" was that the egg yolk busted when I bit it and the yolk skyrocketed into my lap lol. Napkins to the rescue, and it honestly just made me more enthusiastic about the burger. It's not good unless it's messy when you eat it imho. :) Amazing customer service, very helpful and friendly. Explained the whole process to us (they offer a build your own burger!) and help with the menu tablet. Loving the tech integration with good old fashioned customer service. 10/10 will absolutely be returning. Also they were super speedy! For the health conscious people, theres hand sanitizer on the wall, they operate at a 50% capacity for dine in, and EVERYONE was wearing a mask. We love to see it! On the way to Pleasure Pier, I took a detour to stop for lunch. I am sooooooooo glad Mike M. introduced me to Burger Nation. Their burgers are in my top 3 of best burgers I've ever had.
