I have been coming to this restaurant for years now and have had no issues, I've even enjoyed speaking with who I believe to be the owner (the Asian lady that always answers the phone and takes orders at the restaurant). I have been ordering the same sandwich for a month now and the owner even knows me by name. Today I order my same breakfast sandwich which is a grilled cheese (two types of cheese) with bacon and egg on white bread. I have ordered this sandwich at least 2x a week. Today I came in to get my order and got to my job bit into my sandwich and thought it tasted different in a bad way looked at it and it was a bacon sandwich on wheat bread. I called the restaurant, and the owner argued with me that that is what I order. I told her no; I have been getting this sandwich from you for a while I don't eat wheat bread. She said OK, next time we will do it right. I asked if I could come get the correct sandwich now and return this one since I have no breakfast and I need to eat. I could tell wasn't happy that I asked for the sandwich replacement, but I get there, and she begins to argue with me again in front of other customers that I ordered the wheat and bacon only, I told her I don't like to argue so I will take the new sandwich and go. I am handicap and it takes a lot for me to get in and out of my car so for me to have to go back just to be argued with was upsetting. Then she gives me the new sandwich and I go to my car to leave; I look at my new sandwich and had to turn around because the new sandwich was bacon and egg only (NO CHEESE) on SOURDOUGH bread - Come on! I asked her did you do this on purpose, so I just asked for my money back she was really mad threw the sandwich in the garbage very aggressively then she gave me only half of my refund I had to ask her again for the full refund. I told her I am not coming back. I was so disappointed and for her to treat me like that, especially seeing that I am handicap and it takes a lot to get in and out of my car. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTURANT, this was a very upsetting and horrible experience, it wiped out any good experiences from the past. read more

The hot link breakfast burrito deserves an award. It's potatoes, cheese, eggs, hot links (and hot sauce if you're really looking for a kick). The hot sauce is so good, it's not all potatoes either. It's meaty and flavorful and hot off the grill. I really dislike lukewarm food especially unmelted cheese on a burrito. This food is served hot and fresh. I used to work nearby years ago and had an early shift, I used to stop by before work for their breakfast and the burrito was always memorable. I'm always at school and need a quick pick-me-up breakfast burrito and this is the place to go. The burritos are huge and are extremely filling, and what's nice about this place is you can call in your order for pick up so that your burrito will be ready when you come inside to pay. Super convenient, especially since I need to get back to school to go to class on my 30 minutes break. Haven't really tried anything else other than their breakfast burritos but I still have yet to try their burgers given the name of their restaurant! I go to Korean run business called BURGER road to get the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. I bet you don't hear that every day. This is coming from someone who usually doesn't care for breakfast burritos, but man. This is the place to go if you want a nice super hot fresh breakfast burrito to warm up your morning. I'm serious when I say it's HOT. Its so satisfying to have it on a chilly day. I'm really not sure what it is, why it's so good; it's basic ingredients you see in any other breakfast burrito. Chorizo, potatoes, eggs, cheese, hot sauce, avocado, etc etc. Whatever kind of magic they're infusing into these freaking breakfast burritos it's working. Texture is perfect, it's never soggy or overly wet. It's not gooey like most breakfast burritos. The ingredients just work so well together and it's packed very nicely. You bite into it and the way everything feels and tastes is just on another level. The place is called burger road and I haven't even had a burger here because I always want that breakfast burrito which is served all day by the way. I'll update my review once I've tried it. The only other item I've tried was the kimchi fried rice. That dish was also incredibly fresh and hot. Spice level was perfect for me. The amount of kimchi and other ingredients in the rice, absolutely loved it. Some of the freshest kimchi fried rice I've had. I would love if they sold purple rice as well! Cute little spot in industrial part of Hayward. Nice location on the corner and a decent size parking lot. I happen to love the menu they have a variety of everything. From hamburgers, shrimp plates, breakfast, to hot dogs. My kids and I had the French toast and the 1/4 and 1/2lb burger. Over all it was just good. Better then your traditional fast food chains by far. Paid $20 for 2 burgers, one as a meal that came with a drink and fries and an order of French toast. Prices are good and if your in Hayward I would say skip the drive thru and come here. read more

I had the chicken katsu and an orange fountain soda. Plate came with katsu worth two boneless skinless thighs, two scoops of rice, and a big ass scoop of Mac salad. This was definitely a Hawaiian plate lunch if I ever saw one and rated high on the mouth feels. The kitchen was clean and seemed to be staffed by all women. Decent little burger joint. Runs like a moms and pops joint. I was able to order a Salmon burger without a bun, but all the fixings (onions, pickles, tomatoes and mustard/mayo, if requited). The salmon was decent, burger rapped nicely and easy to hold. The lady who took my order was very nice and willing to modify my order in anyway that I preferred. The name of this place can be misleading! Even though it's called Burger Road, they have many Asian specialities as well. I haven't tried many of the breakfast items that people rave about but I have heard that the breakfast burritos are delicious. I usually come here when I'm craving Korean Spicy Chicken! It comes with rice and a side salad for about ten bucks. The huge portion keeps me full for lunch and dinner. The lady who runs this place is Korean so it tastes somewhat authentic. My review is for breakfast, which comes often enough since I work in this area of Hayward. It's a good spot to get a quick bite to eat. During the week, the ladies behind the counter are working hard, slinging eggs, hash browns and meat. Order at the counter and then take your number and wait in the dining room. Unless it's crazy busy (which can happen between 8 AM - 9 AM), food comes out in a few minutes. My standard order is the bacon and eggs plate, which comes with hash browns and toast. Lots of potatoes, 4 slices of bacon, 3 eggs and 2 slices of bread. The bacon is cooked well (a little bit of fat, not burnt crispy) and the eggs are fluffy. A nice way to start the morning. Eventually, I'll make it for lunch. read more

They have many meat options like the standard bacon, sausage, chorizo, but you can also get stuff like linguica and kielbasa in your breakfast burrito. You can also add hot sauce, cheese, and avocado for a little more. I think it's worth it. The burrito is decently sized, comes out PIPING HOT (seriously don't burn yourself), and it still comes out to be under $10. I personally like having linguica with hot sauce and cheese the most because I love some spicy flavor. Anyways, I haven't tried anything else here because I'm just so enamored by breakfast burritos that I don't really pay attention to the rest of the menu lol. But they actually have a lot of menu items here in a range of different tastes. They have American food, Korean BBQ, Mexican food, Japanese ramen, etc. It's an interesting combination of cuisines and you have a lot of choices for whatever flavor you're craving! Where can you find a HUGE, hot, inexpensive breakfast burrito?? Here! Called in two burritos for take out and arrived 15 minutes later. They weren't quite ready so it gave me a few moments to check out the place... It was busy with patrons picking up orders and a few dining in. It's a "hole in the wall" type of place. Some seating, beverage cooler and condiment station, breakfast/lunch menu displayed on the wall. They accept credit card purchases with a $10. minimum. A breakfast burrito with meat is $4.50 each. The total was $9.88. It was stuffed with eggs, soft and well seasoned home potatoes, it didn't taste like it came out of a frozen bag and ham (my choice of meat). Hubs had sausage and enjoyed it.
