We went to Kid Time in downtown Medford with our grandson and afterward we were famished. So we walked over to the Burger Spot to try it out. WOW! It did not disappoint. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. We all enjoyed our food - great sweet potato fries and my grandson loved his tots. While taking a road trip we stopped in Medford for lunch and went to Burger Spot because of the Yelp reviews. We got a bacon cheese burger, mushroom burger and kids chicken nuggets with tater tots. I will start with the pro's: the service was friendly and quick. The burger bun was very good. My burger was hot and fresh. They initially forgot the tots with the kids meal and quickly fixed it. My husband enjoyed his burger. The con's: my burger patty was over cooked, the tater tots and fries tasted like the oil needed a desperate change and was way too greasy. We couldn't eat either fries nor tots. The chicken nuggets were dry, obviously previously frozen and had an off taste. The Cole slaw tasted bland and missing something. Even though the burgers were decent and the service very good, wouldn't recommend this place or come again. read more

Have not eaten here in the past, but once businesses starting opening again we had a real desire for a good, homemade hamburger. We had not tried the Burger spot so we did. The gentleman at the counter was very find, found was cooked fast and came out hot, plenty of bacon and cheese and all in all it was a good hamburger and we were not disappointed. Skipped class with my roommate to try the veggie mushroom burger and it was by far the most delicious thing I have ever eaten since I have entered earth 21 years ago. Bomb burgers. Friendly crew. I always leave full, and not the gross type of bloated full you'd expect after eating a burger....they put a bunch of toppings on for you, and it always tastes fresh. Hands down one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Dinner time on a road trip to California took us here and it was worth it. We had the grilled onion and the jalapeño pineapple burgers with veggie patties and sweet potato fries. The veggie patty was so on point, maybe house made, mushroom and nut based. We were so famished I didn't think to take a picture, but man oh man I'm glad we stopped here instead of the in n out right off the freeway. The vibe inside reminded me of a beach town burger spot with alternative music playing, something you'd expect to be just down from a boardwalk or pier. We had been here before and loved it and would make a trip out of the way every now and again, but now we come here every week as our place to eat out during the week when we are in a time pinch! Forget Red Robin and Jaspers! You need to come here. Everything is spot on every single time and the flavor of the burger patty is so amazing. Great hole in the wall local burger joint like the one most neighborhoods have.
