We were looking for lunch after visiting the doctor, and I saw the sign and was intrigued. Driving in, it was hard to find the place until we realized it was in the hotel on the north side. You enter through the hotel, and go to your left to reach the hostess station. The hostess was away - apparently, the computer system had crashed. She showed up a few minutes after we got there, and we were seated. After looking at the menu, we selected their $7 Jalepeno Poppers, which were served at the perfect temperature to not scorch the roof of your mouth. I ordered their signature BT Boss, which is a 1/2 lb burger stuffed with cheese, and my wife had their Farmfresh, which is a roasted portabella mushroom samdwich. Both came with fries which were quite good, and the burger was honestly very good. So why only 3 stars? It was SO SLOW. For lunch time, the place wasn't busy, and it took a long time (greater than 20 minutes) for the food to arrive. That just seemed odd. It also took a while for our order to be taken, so the whole lunch took a bit more than an hour. So consider that in your plans.

Had the Uptown Portobello Burger with Coleslaw and 4 tall Coors Lights. Highly recommend.

Seemed like 2 minutes after I ordered my local craft beer and gourmet burger, I overhear the guy around the corner order a double by specifically commenting that a 'single never fills him up'. Assuming this would be my fate, I was pleasantly surprised to find satisfaction in the Ruben-Patty Melt. The delicious corned beef made up for the 2nd patty and I enjoyed both it and the side salad, for a more than acceptable dinner experience. That said, I was disappointed by the single patty in and of itself, considering the level of worship the place was built on. It WAS small and over-cooked even for 'medium', such that I'll be leaning med-rare going forward. I am also only awarding 3-stars based on value because if you are going to charge over $10 for a burger outside of Chicago...it better be huge and/or unbelievably tasty and/or come with killer sides...and this was not that.

Slow service was the start to the day Menu items listed were also not available Told for example soup was off the menu until winter What they call a tall beer is silly It's nothing compared to other locations in area I was one of two patrons and I understand why

Bloody Mary, spicy, w side a ranch.

10/10, I looooove this place! Has not failed me. The menu has great selections that flow together so well. Our server this time was great, he had just started 3 days prior and did so awesome. I forgot his name but, shout out to you great job love! So first... don't call me crazy on this til you try it... ALWAYS here I start off with a Bloody Mary, and, hear me out, with a side of ranch! Their Bloodies consist of pickle, bacon, green olive, lime, celery, and cucumber. I take the toothpick full of these delicious add ons and dip it right in the ranch. It's like an appetizer in itself. So next I ordered the fried pickles, which came with a spicy-ish kind of ranch. Was delicious. I know you'd think "well the bloody mary has pickles in it already!" which, yes, they do. But i'm on a mission to try every appetizer from this place atleast once, so I went with the fried pickles. Last time was the onion rings w/ garlic dressing & ranch. Those were a freaking hit as well. Finally, off their special menu, I ordered the corned beef & cabbage. What an excellent decision this was. It was a PERFECT portion for 2 people because we split it. The corned beef was so tender n tasteful! Love this atmosphere here. The servers n patrons are all friendly and it's not too loud or crowded, but they do get busy and I totally see why. There's tvs everywhere too so you can watch your favorite sport while indulging in this delicious f*cking food! Lol. Definitely recommend, and if you try the bloody w/ ranch, let me know how you like it hehe (you're welcome for that idea because you won't regret it.) 10/10, can't wait for next time

As far as hotel restaurants go, this one's ambiance is great: big bar, quiet dining room, and large patio with a fire pit. The beer selection is decent, plenty of local brews on tap. However, we found the food mediocre and the mixed drinks were very, VERY weak. We probably will give this place another shot, but it definitely didn't WOW us.

The Chicken Caesar Salad and $2 Conway's Red Ale pint. (Happy Hour Special)

Come see Mike at lunchtime, especially on Monday for a near perfect (it's a bit too large for one person to finish) Chicken Caesar Salad for $5.99. The craft beer of the day is $5 a pint or all beer is 1/2 price after 2:30pm. Huge big screen TVs, great smoke if you got em outdoor seating area with a view of nature.

Farm Fresh burger & onion rings. The rings were so good...

Ever since I learned that there was a speakeasy in Lockport i've always wanted to check it out but…read moreI didn't want to go there by myself so I finally convinced my wife to visit the Speakeasy with me. We figured it would have been the perfect way to top off our evening. For first-timers it might be hard trying to find the speakeasy since at first I thought you had to access it from the Busy Street and walk up three flights of stairs. Actually you just walk inside of the Embers building, find the elevator that's kind of hidden and take it to the Third floor. I thought that the little trip up felt exclusive already. Once you're at the third floor you are treated to a beautiful array of scenery. Exit to your left and you were treated to the bar and some great tables with a cozy, intimate setting. I'm not sure if it was open seating since there was a little podium right off the elevator so we just sat ourselves. Some speakeasies require a certain dress code to keep up with the times. This one thankfully was casual though many people dressed business casual. We actually loved how the staff dressed as well. I have to try their Japanese sex drink and I absolutely loved every ship that I took. The drinks are fairly price. They did have a food menu but it was mainly snacks and small plates that were a bit overpriced. If we're having a large Gathering they have a big private room next door. This place does have a lot of great events going on as well with their upcoming Valentine's Day event that looks really interesting. It does get pretty busy as well after 7:00 p.m. from our experience. Overall, I was excited and enjoyed our visit coming to the 933 speakeasy!

It just so happens that I visited the night of a holiday bar crawl in lockport so the inside wasn't set up how it normally would be. For being packed, we were still able to grab a cocktail table to enjoy our drinks at. The bar was decked out in holiday decor to get everyone in christmas spirits. My group got two rounds of drinks which included the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned, Figgy Smalls, Christmas in a Cup, Happiness is a Warm Puppy, Milk & Cookies, and Maple Bacon Old Fashioned. My favorites by far were the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned and Figgy Smalls. My group also loved the Milk & Cookies. The bartenders hustled to get drinks out and still took time to smoke the old fashioneds to perfection. I'd love to come back on a normal night and re-enjoy this lockport hotspot.
