It was meh. The 1000 island dressing had a fun taste and to watery. The fries were too crispy and too much seasoning salt. Now I come back after 3 months and try the breakfast burrito. The taste is off. The red sauce is just hot. No real flavor. The cheese is minimal or non existent. Too much potatoes. I just wanted this place to redeem itself. Their fish sandwiches are good. I always ask extra crispy and they cook it right. Their curly fries are better than Jack and the Box. It's how JB used to have them until the quality went down. Their regular fries also taste good and crispy. The only complaint I have is they didn't add ranch to the zucchinis order. They also changed the way they used to serve them--they look different. They were golden brown and juicy. Now they look darker and taste dry. Other than that, the drive thru guy got our order correct! So went to grab some chili cheese fries for my kids and not to my surprise, again my order was wrong. It's partially my fault for putting trust in this place to get three ingredients right. I get home and open the box for my kids to eat and there's no cheese or chili just plain fries. I called them up, explained and they agreed to replace the order. I head back to waste my time since they barely added a pinch of cheese and chili to the original box. I included photos of the original order and the "replacement". Just went to burger zone for onion rings and a 1/4 burger. I like to have the right change ($11.00) for the merchant... when I was charged the cashier said it was $12.79. More than a buck over what I calculated, so I asked why the difference and was told because they are paying more to buy food, they are charging more. That I understand but why isn't it posted? Cashier said there is a byline that allows them to do this. I told her it was wrong to do this but proceeded to pay and asked for a receipt. To my surprise, when I took a bite out of it, it tasted like shredded meat. I'm used to eating pastrami that's soft, moist, and flavorful. Unfortunately the sandwich had chunks of meat that were hard and way too salty. As a side note, you should eat it quickly or else the bread gets soggy. I come here at least once a week and try a new item from time to time. My "go to's" are their breakfast burritos (bacon and egg is the best), or their club sandwich combo, which comes with fries and a drink. Today, I had the Nachos Supreme with Carne Asada. Great taste and a plentiful portion able to feed even the hungriest of people. The place is clean and the ladies behind the counter are some of the nicest I've encountered at a fast food place. My only real complaint... The real steep prices! I definitely get it when you mark up prices to stay competitive or to cover overhead/operating costs, but $12.50 for Nachos and a drink is a bit much. Luckily, their food is good and I am a loyal customer, but it'd be awesome if some of the items were reduced. Otherwise, they'd get a 5-star review!
