Parking is tight. If it were crowded it would be hard to park or back out of spaces. The burger was decent. The fries were good. The reason for the 2 starts is because the restaurant is filthy. Sticky tables. Trash on the floor. Overflowing garbage. Dead plants is filthy pots by the window. Smudged and greasy fingerprints on the doors. We waited at the counter for 10 minutes while the cashier was in the washroom. Corporate needs to surprise spot check this franchise restaurant soon.

THE CEO BURGER from BurgerFi in Jacksonville, Florida! Not Glenview, Illinois
    Nathaniel Angelo B.

I had high hopes for this one after I tried BurgerFi in Jacksonville, FL. I ordered The CEO Burger in Florida and it was AMAZING! When I tried The CEO Burger here in Glenview, IL. It didn't meet my expectations as it wasn't as good and flavorful as the one in Florida. If I were to rate the two I'd say the burger I had in Florida was a 10/10!! (See the photo below!!) On the other hand, the burger here in Illinois is a mid 5/10. The service was okay they were nice and there was no one else in the restaurant (I went there on a Monday) The ambiance of the place is reminds me of a budget Shake Shack. I didn't even take a picture of The CEO burger here in Glenview as it was disappointing to me but it wasn't bad but here's a picture of The CEO burger in Jacksonville! If you order The CEO burger here in Glenview feel free to use this picture as a baseline for comparison.

Huge portions. The service was quick to make all of the food fresh and to my table. This place feels like a solid spot for burgers and a shake. I had lunch here with my parents and between the 3 of us, shake, 3 regular fry's the bill was over $60. This is way too much for lunch.

Lots of families here enjoying lunch at this BurgerFi in Glenview. They say their Angus beef is free of steroids and hormones and they have multiple options to suit dietary programs. We enjoyed fresh-cut fries with truffle aioli sauce, the enormous onion rings (each the size of a hamburger bun) and junior burger, cheeseburger, hotdog, veggie burger and fried chicken sandwich. The buns are stamped with BurgerFi on them and are crisp and butter toasted. Burgers are tasty and well seasoned but mine was a little dry. The VegeFi burger with quinoa and veggies was pronounced really good. Vegan and Beyond Burgers are other choices available too. We enjoyed our meal as the ingredients are high quality and a step above fast food. The dining room could be better attended to as several tables were not cleaned and the mustard dispenser needed to be filled.

Let me just say that we drove 40 mins to try Burgerfi. I heard nothing but good things about it. The restaurant seemed clean and it had allot of natural light. The burgers were good, i felt like my burger needed more bbq sauce. I ordered the bbq rodeo burger after getting the recommendations from the cashier. The patties seem like they were frozen before hand. The onion rings you pay almost 6.50 for 5 pieces of onions. Don't get me wrong, they are huge. Just not sure if it's worth that price. The chicken tenders for the kids meal were very small. The kids meal is almost 11 bucks. Most places are in the 6 or 7 dollar range. The food was good, the place is just overpriced.

My wallet hurts every time I visit this place, but my older daughter who seems to be in a continual growth spurt is on a cheeseburger kick and specifically requested a Burgerfi cheeseburger on her latest day off school with Mommy, and I couldn't say no. The kids' meals are $9.97 and come with a side (fries or a "natural snack", guessing applesauce?) and drink (Honest juice box or pop). The junior cheeseburger is pretty hefty in size, and the fries are greasy, nicely salted, slightly crisp, and sometimes, that's just what you need as a sidekick to your lunch. Mini Me and I shared the kids' meal portion of fries, and that was just right for us both. On this visit, I splurged and tried the CEO burger, which has a wagyu and brisket blend (two patties), aged Swiss, bacon jam, and truffle aioli. I was highly disappointed, not only bc I paid $13 when I would've been happier with 2 double butter burgers from Culver's for that price tag, but bc the flavors were bland all around. The meat didn't taste like anything, the 2 slices of cheese were bland, and I had to peel apart the patties to confirm I even got bacon jam or aioli on my burger. I didn't taste ANY truffle at all, which is a pretty bold flavor, and the jam just tasted like cheap bbq sauce. In the past, my family of 4 has come in for dinner, and it was almost $70 for all of us. Yikes. As one of their signs alludes to ("don't be like your food: cheap, fast, easy", or... another adjective I forgot) Burgerfi toots the premium horn, but it doesn't really come through in flavor. They now do serve alcohol, like beer, some hard seltzers, and maybe some wine, but on a previous visit, they couldn't serve it bc they hadn't renewed their alcohol license. Will only be back if Mini Me has an epic craving.

    Nasty TRADITIONAL GRILLED CHICKEN BOWL

We dined in and my Girlfriend's burger was cold with the cheese not even melted. My grilled chicken salad looked so sad. I added grilled onions to it and the onions were raw. Wish I could get a refund. Just go to Wendy's. Also the tables were sticky. If I could give zero stars I would.

Was okay good flavors. Not sure why frys were lukewarm and burger was as well. I asked the girl behind the counter for hot frys and she just stared at me. I went and sat down well my burger was getting colder waiting for hot frys . She came over dropped it in the middle of the table and walked away . My boy friend thanked her, no response . Do I thanked her as she was walking away and she mumbled back, " your welcome . We split the wagyu brisket burger with hot sauce. It was good. The bill was about 25.00 . The service was good in the front but this girl was not having a good day. Frys we're enough for a family of five. Burger was filling and tasty . But boy are prices escalating for fast food.

DO NOT COME HERE! The promotional pictures are nothing like the actual food. I came here with my boyfriend and bought 2 bacon burgers a larger cheese fries and one soda... $37 for all of that!!! The quality of the patty is the same of my high schools free lunch burgers. The bacon was so flat and hard it was hard to swallow. The fries were alright nothing special about them but the cheese on them got cold quickly. The service was alright. Just wished they had the ketchup refilled and a clean area to get condiments. My boyfriend and I were so excited to try this place out for our date fantasizing on the gourmet burgers we'll have no matter the price, but at the end we left disappointed, dissatisfied, and still hungry. This place needs to work on their food quality before having ridiculous prices. In the meantime go to portillos you'll get better/more food for the same price point.

Pricy but very good. The fríes are large and delicious. I wish they had a more moderate size for a discount price. It wasn't busy so they brought out our order to the table. Very clean and amicable staff.

The best menu item here isn't the burgers, it's surprisingly the fries. Order your fries urban style. Trust me. It's so flavorful and amazing. Quick, fast, always clean. Love it here and will keep coming back.

    Swag burger and cry+fry
    Tiffany T.

I tried the swag burger and it was juicy, flavorful, and had a good kick to it. I kind of wish it was more spicy though! I also got the cry + fry and that is so much for 1 person haha! I finished the onion rings, which were REALLY GOOD! They were so crispy and the onions were perfectly soft. The fries were good too, but I couldn't get through all of them. I think I would eat here again as a treat, but not often because it's pretty expensive. And next time, I'll definitely try the truffle fries too. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool and pretty modern. The space is huge and there is so much distance in between tables that eating there during the pandemic wouldn't worry me at all.

I don't know, but $40 for a burger, a Chicago style hot dog, two fries (to be fair, one was chili cheese fries), and two fountain drinks seems excessive. Service was pleasant. The staff is great and knowledgeable. Two small things they could do better, the Greek salad dressing needs more oil and less vinegar and it seems that happens when you mix a batch of salad dressing it separates and it's hard to get the correct amount of oil and vinegar in the small plastic containers, the work around for that is to put a little of "gum" in the dressing so the oil and vinegar does not separate and you solve two issues one is getting the right mix in the small containers and second is to give the customer a dressing that stays mixed so every bite has the right amount of oil and vinegar because now some bites are oily and some are vinegary. Second thing that could be improved is the garlic bread, it's now a very chewy and tough piece of bread very hard to eat, my view is there are two other choices, you could buy commercial frozen garlic bread likes Texas toast put a slice or two in a regular bread toaster and you would give a tasty piece of garlic bread with your dinners the other choice would be to get a commercial bread toaster like the ones in hotel breakfast buffets or the ones Dunkin donuts uses for toasting bagels the ones with conveyor belts. You would have to experiment with the type of bread you would use but you should be able to get a tasty piece of garlic bread. Don't forget your staff is your best resource, make different versions and have your staff help you decide which they like more and do that one. Good luck.

My dad had an office and n Glenview when I was younger and this place was there and he had never heard of it. I guess if you were local or took the Metra, then you knew. I made a reservation as there were twelve of us coming in. We arrive for our monthly Burger Club with high hopes. It's a cute place. They have a nice outdoor deck area and the inside has a nice wooden bar with tables around it with two or three additional rooms of seating, too. We asked for separate checks, and our server told us it was no problem (it was). They have a lot of burgers to choose from so we thought that this would be a great place to go. I'll say this, our server was wonderful. Super nice, really friendly, always refilling drinks. Just a wonderful experience with her. And that's where it ends. My burger came our perfectly prepared (they ask what temperature you want and I wanted medium rare). The patties are insanely thin and toppings, while fresh, are overly abundant. Fresh lettuce, tasty pickles, etc. the burger had no flavor. No salt or pepper to season it or anything. And mine was the best of the group. Others received burgers that were overcooked, had the wrong buns, came with caramelized onions, but were raw -were sent back and came back raw again - and the sides were underwhelming. I don't like ketchup, so I asked for ranch and it was thick and had a funky flavor to it. Then bills came and they were all wrong. She had mixed up every bill. Thankfully most burgers cost the same, but drinks and some side upgrades don't. We will never go back here. I have no idea how they stay in business.

The burger itself was respectable as far as fast food goes. It was cooked fresh and assembled with care. The meat was well seasoned, and the veggies gave a good balance in terms of freshness. While the smashed patties didn't have the lacy crisp edges a next-level smashburger does, it's fast food, so I'm not going to hold it against them (I may be tough, but I am reasonable!). It did take a hot minute for the food to come out, but I was not in a hurry, and I want to recognize that everything appeared to be cooked fresh to order. It was very quiet at the time, so please be aware that during a busy time, YMMV. Finally, the service was perfectly polite and friendly. Final verdict: Steak 'n Shake has by 'good' by definition burgers. Where they shine, though, is the fries, and not for a lack of seed oils, but for being hot, fresh, and flavorful! Thus, we are left with a place that is not a destination, but one to visit when I am in the area craving a superb fast-food fry!
