It was my first time coming here and it was good but i feel as if the company itself is overrated. It's like shake shack but more expensive. I got a bacon cheese burger and it was $8. I have to say - I'm surprised there's not a line out the door. I am not related to anyone who works there or owns this place but after raving today I promised the woman at the counter I would post. One of the best burgers I've had. I went simple with the burgerfi burger and it was AMAZING. Super juicy, great flavor and perfect, soft bun. I got the parmesan/garlic/truffle fries which were super good - but my kids got the original fries and they were amazing. HIGHLY recommend this place. Will be going back for sure! Also - just read some reviews about the service and the woman who took our order was wonderful. Very patient in taking our order (included 2 kids). She was lovely. read more

Just not to impressed with the guy in the front with the girl who took our order, right in front of us he said he wouldn't be the one making the shakes & once we were seated I looked over & it was the girl making them. Quite average overall. Service was decent; we got our food quickly and everyone was friendly enough, but things sometimes seemed a bit off and a shake we ordered separately after our main meal came out after a surprisingly long wait. The food itself was ok; I didn't personally enjoy my burger all that much (it was very standard fare and I found it to have a very fast-food taste), but the fries, onion rings, and shakes didn't disappoint. The oddest aspect of it all was that for having largely sterile and standard interior design, the place was kind of dirty from a day's worth of customers (mind you, we were only there at about 6) and was very hot inside (just about as hot as the outside's 85+ degrees). Overall, it's not that exciting. It was something between an Arby's and a Shake Shack, and, in my opinion, it didn't offer much that those other two chains wouldn't. Not really worth seeking out, but not a bad choice in a pinch. read more

I was so excited to see this place but upon the first bite I was to be let down. The burgers were bland and dry...cooked beyond medium well and the bun was toasted black. Although I love huge portions of fries and onion rings like most Americans I found the rings were almost raw. To cook such a thick ring you would need to fry them to the point that the batter was overdone...suggest reducing the size. Did I mention the prices!!! Won't be back. read more

Really good burgers and not overpriced, as some have said, compared to other places. Very tasty burgers and different from other places like 5 guys which I like too. You can customize them in different ways. We get them take out but the dining room has an interesting ambiance -- check out the lights, and some beers if you're eating in. I am so totally loving all the different burger places that seem to be opening up everywhere! These are great days that we're living in, burger lovers! I was warmly greeted by the fellow behind the counter and I ordered the Burger Fi cheeseburger, a regular size fry (Way too many, btw! I couldn't eat half of them! Split an order with a friend.) and a fountain drink. $12.00. Burger is pretty darned good. The patties were fresh and hand formed. They claim to sell a "natural" burger, whatever that is. It was really tasty, just not mind blowing. Fries are OK (And huge) The place is very clean and it was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, which is good! I hope that this place does really well so that it'll be around for a while. read more

Came here on a whim because I was hungry and had a great time! It's a unique burger place with a good amount of options. I feel like it plays off those hip burger places you find in big cities except this is the only location I know of and it's in the suburbs. The space is big with lots of tables and it wasn't too busy when I arrived. The pricing is good for stacked burgers, much less expensive than they would be in the city. I love that they offer lettuce "buns" which is perfect for me and I wish more burger places had that option. The fries were perfectly seasoned and so addicting - I had to stop myself from eating all of them at once. I got the chicken sandwich and it was so delicious! I believe that's a new menu item and I'm glad it lived up to my expectations. Next time I come here I would love to try one of the burgers! read more

This is a great spot to grab a fantastic burger and fries at a reasonable price. Fries come with a huge fried onion ring on top. Burgers rival the best I've had. Ample seating and there are a couple of bigger ten seat tables for larger groups. I eat lunch here at least twice a month and will keep coming back. read more

Burgerfi is a great place in town to have a delicious unique burger. I tried the vegetarian burgerfi which is made of quinoa and other veggies which gives it the crispy texture. Fires with chees, large onion rings and a drink will set you back $20 so a little expensive. The only concern I have and confirmed by many is the size of the patty seems to get smaller and smaller every time we go there. Will have to wait and see if it's corrected. read more

BurgerFi is one of my favorite burger places to go to. The veggie burger there is my all time favorite, whether your vegetarian or not it's probably the best veggie burger I have ever had. The place also has good regular burgers and the BurgerFi sauce was tasty. The fries are great too, try the Cajun ones. The large fries also come with onion rings on top that are big but decent. I would definitely try this place out if your looking for a new burger place or if you want an amazing veggie burger. read more

I usually love this place but last time was very disappointed. My best friend and I went but left almost immediately because it smelled like mold and dirty feet. The floor was so dirty and the silverware in the napkins were so dirty. II'm not one to complain about the cost of burgers as I reacognize that each brand/restaurant has its own appeal, flavor, etc. I've paid up to $16 for a burger at Prairie Grass (in Northbrook) which I consider to tbe the best burger in the city. Well, that plus Enzos (in Evanston) and Paradise Pup (in Des Plaines). So I don't pre-judge a burger on cost. That would be unfair. However, all the other edible accroutrements such as the $2.25 for a cup of coke and $3.00 for fries is a litte outrageous. Yes, I understand that all natural burger places are hormone free, better quality of meat, etc. But how does that apply to fries and a coke? That being said, the burger was OK. It had your typical moistness on the outside of the beef patty making the bun somewhat wet and sloppy. But the inside of the meat was dry. Moreover, I didn't really appreciate the fact that the only toppings they had were tomatoes, relish and onions. You're only allowed to order 2 before you get charged. The kicker is you could use ketchup and mustard as your toppings despite there is a counter with free ketchup and mustard. Didn't understand the logic on that one. Would I recommend this place? Only on one condition. That you order a burger and nothing else unless you want to pay the additional $6 for the fries and coke which with the burger, would come to about $12. But I'm going elsewhere. read more

Wife and I stopped in on a whim as we were passing by, knowing nothing about this restaurant. I wish we hadn't. The cheeseburger was tasty, but shockingly small considering how expensive it was. I was still hungry, so I went back to the register for a hotdog. When I received it, I was given a totally plain hotdog! Confused, I asked do they usually come plain? Cashier looked at me like I said something funny and said they come plain unless we ask for toppings. Who sells an expensive $5 hotdog with nothing on it??? At least ask if the customer would like toppings. Being from Chicago, that's just ludicrous. I honestly don't feel I got my money's worth and won't be returning. read more

What am I paying for? Beef? I don't think so. The quality of the meat is nowhere near similarly priced Shake Shack. I would even take Smashburger, Five Guys, or In N Out over the burgers here. Other ingredients? The veggies don't look all that fresh and they don't even give you much. The bun isn't bad but what goes inside is more important than what holds it together. Service? You go and get your food/condiments/drinks so that's a hard no. Fries? Not bad but nothing extraordinary. They're so ordinary I really don't know what else to say about them. If I'm spending over $10 on a burger and fries, I'm expecting something that's going to either a) fill me up or b) be one of the better burgers I've had. Unfortunately, BurgerFi was neither. Why isn't it 1 star? I mean, it's edible. 1 star is reserved for the deepest level of disappointment and inedibility (I know that's not a word). read more
