My first visit to this place and exposure to this chain of restaurant. Taking a break from my school studies, our group ventured over to Burgerfi..which sounds like burgers "plugged in" (wifi). The place was clean, felt industrial walking in, table are wiped clean...attentive staff...I will say while "pricey" the food is totally worth the price. I did order the bacon cheeseburger and it was really good. ingredients all tasted fresh with no greasy hands to wipe. Our group ended up going there several more times as its really close to the college there in winter park. I decided this time to also get the hand cut fries with parmesan cheese! Delish! they also have a veggie burger you can get the bun replaced with lettuce and THAT looked really good and fresh! Overall, I highly recommend Burgerfi and its worth paying a little more for the FRESH taste and experience. read more

This review is a little over-due, but no time like the present to give a shout out to Roxy. I get take out from BF at least 2x a week. The food is fresh, and the service is on-point. I also really love the veggie burger on green option. It's not your typical veggie-burger it's made with quinoa and it jammin. The real outstanding thing that brings me back to this location is Roxy and her attentiveness to supreme customer service. I'm required to be on a low salt diet. When I first requested some items be made with no salt, I got some resistance. Thank goodness for Roxy she went out of her to have the kitchen prepare the food with no salt for me. No. This place rips off SHAKE SHACK, but it's not as good. So when I spent over $11 for a burger and shake, I was disappointed. The burger was small and overcooked; the shake was pretty good though. I tried the fries off my friend's order. They're nothing special. Just a hot heap of mediocrity. Pop music was playing too loudly, and the patio had garbage and dried spilled soda on the floor. Walk to the counter, pick your choice then you're handed a beeper of which you're specifically instruct to place in the MIDDLE of the table. I ordered the B.A.D burger, despite all of the "grass fed and angus beef" Hype i though the burger was just ok, nothing striking or impressive in both flavor or size for that matter. The burgers are pretty small here so don't expect 8oz patties, they probably more like 1/4 pounders, i mean the bun was bigger than the patty by a significant margin. I Don't know about you guys but for me what constitutes a good BURGER or at least the key element is a big fat, juicy piece of meat. And i wish the argument of quality over quantity could be made here because i will be the first one to make that trade off, however, i did not find that to be the case here. I honestly think 5 guys is better. But then again, my opinion on this subject should be taken with a grain of salt since i'm one of the most discriminating persons when it comes to burgers. The fries i thought were pretty good. as for the obnoxiously, annoying and extremely loud teen-pop music, i did not really care much at all and fail to see the point of playing the music so loud. Sweet Jesus tho place has the best burger EVER. I'm not even a burger person but after my first single burger, I found myself wanting more just because it was THAT GOOD. I wasn't even hungry anymore. I just needed more of that flavor in my mouth. I imagine it was sort of like how cavemen felt the first time the saw fire- pure joy and amazement. The fires are pretty delicious. My BF and I ordered the smallest option they had and it was still way too much for the two of us. The burgers are definitely more pricey than your normal fast food joint (ewww fast food) but it's worth the money! Hope I didn't over hype it. If some was on there, it was lost to the other goodness goin on. They are so proud of their burgers, they sign (brand)each one. The onion rings are the 1.5" wide sliced and battered design- - and not overcooked, but enough to still get a severing bite - if you know what I mean. I should have ordered a whole order! The fries are natural cut with the skin left on so a real earthy-tater goodness came through for me. A tad on the cold side for fires but still worthy. The topping selection was limited and unimaginative. The prices were reflective of the rent they pay and not the food. The music was too loud and consisted of unrecognizable bland pop music. The nearby merchants may be the only ones more excited about BurgerFi than the hordes of burger-curious people cramming into the shiny, loud burger shack that is filled to capacity nearly every time I drive by. They've done a lot of things well, and a few not so well. Overall it's a lot of sizzle for a decent steak. First off, claiming they use grass-fed beef is pure sketchy at best. On their website they mention that the cows are finished on grain, which serves to fatten them up quickly (hmmm what does all that grain do to humans?) but also causes a lot of physical and medical stress to the cow. And, also causes the beef to not be 100% grass fed, which leads me back to the beginning of the paragraph. Their claim is misleading. That aside, the burger was good. Our group found a table quickly, and left an anchor person to hold it while the others went in the long, but quick line. The decor is bold - very industrial chic with some nice touches, like the meat hook lamps. I love the option to go with the lettuce wrap instead of the buns. For those of us trying to limit our carb-intake it is a fairly elegant solution. The quinoa veggie burger that I tried was quite delicious, although I wish it was just a bit bigger. The regular hamburger was good to, all in all a good burger at a very fair price. However the premium topping I requested and paid for, a fried egg (hurray for eggs!) did not get put on my burger. No biggie, they're busy and things get missed. HOWEVER, when I alerted a manager to this, he asked if I would like a whole new burger or just the egg - I asked for just the egg, and he said he would bring me a fresh sunny side up egg right away. By "right away", I guess he meant never. Because it never showed up. Management execution? F. The other employees seemed upbeat and were very efficient in their table clearing and turnaround. The music is way too loud, and is definitely geared to a younger crowd. Gawd I'm getting old. And I hate the little tiny plastic cups they gave out for those of us who choose to drink water instead of soda -- it felt penny-wise but pound-foolish. I've been here a handful of times and I think I've only had the Quinoa burger, because frankly, it's so good, I just crave it that much. I always get it on its wheat bun. The fries are really good too. I ordered onion rings once, but I feel like I've outgrown heavily fried food like this. A plus is they serve Cigar City Florida Cracker on tap, and 4 or so other beers. And wine too. And I just recently noticed their sodas are made with real sugar...not High Fructose Corn Syrup. This makes me feel like they're at least trying to serve quality food. Their concrete desserts sit heavy on my stomach...but that's just me. You'll have your local Rollins and Winter Park crowd here, of middle to upper class patrons. Pros- the beef is rather tasty, they offer a bunless option (though with iceberg), the decor is comfortable, they seem to have their logistics worked out, the line moves really fast, the menu is easy to navigate, their blue cheese is good quality, I didn't get sick. Cons- the craft beer selection is laughable, the music is utter crap and way too loud, it's quite pricey for what you receive, the crazy soda fountain creates a chaotic zoo effect with children (and some adults). I'll go again considering it's probably one of the better things to eat on Park Ave, which says a lot for Park Ave dining, but I can't say I'll be a regular there. Now a days there are so many burger places that it feels like it doesn't really matter which one you choose. They all have burgers, fries, shakes made fast and "fresh." Still, I think this place deserves to be on everyone's list of top burger joints. It's in a great location (Park Ave) right in Winter park where you can usually find plenty of parking on the street or in any number of their free parking lots. You can stroll along the park or shops either before or after you enjoy your meal. Also, its food is yummy! What else could you ask for? So here is what I love to order and why I think it deserves your time and attention: VEGGIE BURGER: I know you're probably thinking "WHAT?? Veggie burger was the main atrraction???" I'm not one to crave veggie burgers and I've never really had one before now, but luckily I was in the mood for some quinoa filled yumminess. I opted for a lettuce bun too...I don't know what lead me on this healthier option kick but seriously it was amazing! I don't think I need to try any of the other burgers lol this one takes the cake haha Here are a few of my other (non-healthy) regular choices that are mouth-wateringly delicious: -CHILI CHEESE FRIES: Warm, crispy, cheesy, and chilli! -CRY AND FRIES BASKET: you get the best of both worlds with their huge onion rings and fries mixed together -SUNDAE: Vanilla ice cream and I get toffee, peanut butter, and hot fudge as my toppings. *It's never big enough though. I do love me a good burger, and after trying 5 Guys and Pine 22, I thought Burgerfi would be a good comparison. I was wrong. I think I'll go the pros and cons route too, because the place does have some qualities that beat other burger places in town, however taste of the burger wasn't the best I've had. I got the classic double with bacon, and my wife and I shared fries with parm and aioli sauce. She had a classic with fried egg. She also had a beer, and I had a soda, all for about $25. Pros: * Really well done interior design. The signage is on flat screen TV's. It seems like they've put a significant investment into their design * The selection of sodas with the "new" style of fountain machine. As a self-proclaimed tech-nerd, I found the price of the drink to be over the top outrageous, but the quality of the machine and selection was very nice. I got vanilla cherry coke, and I can't imagine any other restaurant in town that offers that. * Pager type gadgets that the server knows exactly where your table is when they bring out the food. Cons: * For the price, I expected the quality and size of the burger to be on par with both Five Guys or Pine 22, but it was significantly smaller, probably about the size of a single stack at Wendy's. The taste was good, but nothing spectacular, and not as good as the other 2 locations mentioned. * Fries, despite being doused in parmesan cheese and a dash of aioli sauce, were very flavorless. * LOUD! I couldn't hear the lady taking my order, and while I'm a 36 y/o live music lover I'm not really THAT deaf. The music was way too loud for my tastes in a restaurant, but I'm guessing based on the location that the Rollins College kids are their target demographic, not me. Basically, this place is somewhat chic and cute. Returned to BurgerFi this week for a new firsthand experience with the business and asked for their "Vegan" Quinoa Burger wrapped in lettuce just like last time. Counter person was kind enough to inform us that despite what we may have heard on our last visit, the "Vegetarian" Quinoa Burger contained cheese in its binding agent. Yikes!!! I hate it when that happens! I've made a few different trips to Burger-Fi and they are doing a lot of things right. I think that most posts would be around a 4 star selection so ill keep my comments in line with my feelings about particular posts i have seen rather than someone reading my thoughts about the well-documented interior. First up, burger size. I think that our society is so geared up to being super-sized that they wouldn't recognise a nice sized burger if it was plated for them. The comments prove it. While the burgers are not monsters, they are definitely an appropriate size and Burger-Fi uses a higher quality ingredient than you will see most places. Price...The price isn't bad and I am willing to spend a couple of extra dollars to support what is going on here. I don't think $5-$8 for an average burger is too much to spend and if you want a higher end burger, a multitude of unique (to this area) toppings are another buck or two away if the free toppings are too pedestrian for you. I can spend $20 at Wendys getting burgers (over $7 each for some value meals) for my family of 3, or I can spend $26 here like I did tonight. I'm picking Burger-Fi every time. Drink selection: Craft beers, Mexican Coke...Freestyle machine...fresh lemonade...count me in x1000. So much better than other places and I feel good supporting this concept. I can't wait until Burger-Fi comes to Lake Mary but to be honest, many of my friends frequent the Winter Park location and I plan on being there often as possible. read more

I am coming back just for their veggie quinoa burger! Seriously, I really didn't feel like I was missing out on the experience just because I don't eat meat. It was hearty, filling and surprisingly satisfying! My husband and I always know better and share an order of the cry and fries. But we can't help but chuckle when we see first timers order their own fries instead of sharing ---and then witness their shocked looks when the massive amount of food comes out. I feel like it's some sort of right of passage for every newbie. The real victims would be those untouched fries. What a shame. It can definitely get crazy on the weekends. The line builds up and backs up to the outside patio area. And seating is pretty much a hot commodity. You just have to grab it when you see it. I highly suggest having someone in your party go on a table hunt while you place the orders. It will make things sooo much easier. On our recent visit, we ate at a community table. It was fine up until I had to get out of seat so I just made my husband get my refills and condiments. ;) This is a lively and less uptight spot to dine on Park Avenue and I like it! read more

The free ad ons choices were more than I needed, but you can get "premium" add ons for a $1 (which I think is a bit overpriced for what they are). We got both the fries and rings. The onion rings were ginormous, not too greasy, and tasty. The fries were clearly fresh cut. Real sea salt to boot. Yum. Price wise for what we got (2 cheeseburgers, fries, &O-rings) , it was $20, but the taste and quality were there. They met my ratio of quality to taste to price standard to get 4 stars. Great fast service. Caveat is they charge $2.77 for a soft drink. That's stupid pricing. So really they get 3.5 stars. read more

Yummy! I don't eat burgers often but when I do, BurgerFi completely fulfills my cravings and I never regret the calorie bomb that I know I have just consumed. The classic cheeseburger never fails and I like the parmesan fries although I could be completely content and happy with the burger in itself. The atmosphere is laid back and it usually pretty busy but theres so many tables I haven't had trouble finding a spot to sit. Seating is indoors and outdoors but usually the restaurant is completely open so its fresh air all the time. Prices are reasonable and pretty cheap especially for Park Ave but parking here is the constant battle of finding a spot in a busy area so that can be frustrating. Side note: they have Bells Oberon on tap which always makes me happy :) read more

So BurgerFi.... Oh BurgerFi, we could have been such good friends. I'm a fat girl who loves to eat and will bend over backwards for a good burger. I had the recommendation to try this place from a friend so we went for dinner the other night. First of all, Park Ave is not conducive to good parking for the disabled. Driving down the road I saw no signs for parking for the restaurant so we parked in a parking garage that was thankfully not charging for parking. We hoofed it to the restaurant and saw a giganterous line. Fine. I get it. It just opened and everyone wants to try. Awesome. The problem with this is i'm in a wheelchair and lines out the door start to make me nervous about even finding a table (they have picnic tables like 4rivers btdubs. hate that.) We finally get inside and up to the register. I saw a table open so I snagged it quick while my husband ordered me a mushroom burger with fries. Now, on the website I saw that you could get it "limp" which all it says is "opposite of well done". I took the word limp to mean that maybe they were more like the soggy McDonalds fries which sounds gross but I totally like them. Cool. No. They were not "limp" they were basically just potato fries meaning they cut a potato in the shape of fries and just served them without cooking them. It was gross and they didn't even season them. Oh and by the time we got them, they were brimming on cold. The burger was also unsatisfactory. I really appreciate the bun, It just tasted nice but the patty was too small for the amount of bread. If I come back, i'll just get a patty on lettuce or something. Overall as far as the eating experience goes: the food is too pricy for what you get. Now. And this is what really pissed me off. The servers are nice but they don't give two salamis about ANYONE. I was in a corner by a side door and I thought I could get outside that way instead of fighting my way through a line of people to get to the exit. Nope. The server watched me go out that door, realize I was trapped and then come BACK INSIDE to just have to fight my way through the crowd and get elbowed in the face by some oblivious person who couldn't look down to see me. I hate crowds for this reason but all the worker had to do was offer to help and clear a space for me to get through and I would have been happy. I just wanted to leave and I got a bruise on my face for it. I will most likely go to 5 guys instead (they don't charge extra for everything and parking situation is way better) unless the one they are building in Altamonte Springs is better planned out. read more

Oh tasty tasty burgers and fries, off Park Ave., that DOESN'T cost $20/burger? SOLD! This place is comparable to Shake Shack and a higher quality Five Guys. I had a single burger with cheese and bacon and it was delicious! The fries were tasty too but if you get them, I would order one of the ones with toppings. Someone in my group ordered the parmesan fries with garlic aioli and they were so much more amazing than my plain fries. The only thing I did not like was that they could use some more fans or something on the patio, there was limited seating so we had to sit outside and it was h.o.t. Also, the music was so loud that we could barely talk. I mean this is a restaurant people not an Abercrombie! I ordered a cup of water to wash down my juicy delish burger and then I was sad because they had these really cool modern soda fountains with a touch screen. This is one of the best burger places in town. There is something magical about a burger served in wax paper. It makes it taste better for some reason. We've been here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. I just love the simple burger with bbq sauce and grilled onions. The french fries are perfect and the onion rings....omg - let's talk about those onion rings. You may not get a lot in quantity - but you definitely get quality. They are so thick and big that you really don't need that many. And unlike other places, you actually taste the onion as opposed to it being drowned out by fried shell. This may be the BEST burger I have ever had! Everything about it was deliciously amazing. I am a purist when it comes to burgers so I got the Burgerfi Cheeseburger (burger, cheese, lettuce, tomato and their special sauce). The bun comes perfectly toasted, burger cooked medium to perfection, melty cheese and just enough of their sauce (which tasted like a mayo/ketchup/mustard combo). To make things even better....$6.97 for the burger! Such a great value! I paired my burger with an order of onion rings. I would love to know where they found onions this large! Biggest onion rings! And so yummy. Nice crispy exterior and the onions were cooked nicely and still had a crunch. I am from out of town so this burger joint was brand new to me. The only thing I was WOWed on was the price. The food was as expected, but it is no better than 5 Guys Burgers, and not nearly as healthy as Pita Pit (just around the corner). Just by walking in I can tell where all the money went, 2 Coca~Cola Freestyle Machines and 4 Sixty inch Sharp TVs being used as menu displays (that are too high to read when trying to order, but that's a different issue.) Now I know why I spent $15 for a $7 meal. At least put some sports on the TVs... And since I'm on the drinks, what's with the size of your little 'sippy' cup... Seriously, I pay greater than $2.50 for a drink, I want a DRINK, not a baby cup I have to get up every 12 seconds to refill. Either lower the price, or get bigger cups. The fries were good, not McDonald's, but good. However I DO NOT recommend getting any toppings for the fries. They are a waist of money and do not taste good. Especially the Parmesan Cheese topping that came out of a Kraft Cheese shaker. For the price of the topping, I want fresh graded Parmesan Cheese sprinkled over my fries. The heart and soul of the meal (the burger) was decent, but about $1 over priced. Taste was about 4.5 out of 5, but hey, no one's perfect. My recommendation, get just the burger and share fries with friends. The decor is nice, but it does get cold in winter so invest in outdoor heaters. Or put those sixty inch TVs outside to heat up the area... I mean, TVs do more than display menu items. My biggest suggestion to the owner, scale back the tech savvy crap and focus on the burgers. Being the price point down and your stars will go up. Over all, unless you HAVE to have a burger right then and there, you are better off saving your money and going to Outback or Chili's and getting a burger meal there... As a rule of thumb, any restaurant that only cooks a burger medium-well or well done shouldn't be classified as a burger joint but I have it a shot with an open mind. After ordering a supreme style burger medium-well I was very unimpressed. Five guys makes better diner style burgers. Hardly any flavor or seasoning drew comparisons to a Wendy's or Burger King burger. The fries are nice and crispy and texture wise on point but wayyy too salty and greasy. The only part of the meal I can say was good was my milkshake. Ultimately a disappointing experience and I would recommend heading to Burger 21 for a much better experience. read more

This is the burger at the spot in Orlando Love that when you bite into the burger you can taste the meat which obviously is very fresh . Toppings also very fresh and the bun is perfect. Very good service Fries and onion rings both are best in town ( try the burgerfi source on the o- rings ) My son gets a red velvet cake chocolate shake that is to die for !
