Love this place. Came by today and it was hot outside. Was looking for some cheap shirts to where during the the hot days of summer. Inside they had the A.C. blasting. A major plus when shopping. The place is huge and so clean. It was also organized. Some discount stores are so disorganized and clothes tossed all over the place. Not this location. Even the fitting rooms are clean and no clothes piled all over the place. I was able to find 3 shirts that were all under 7 bucks each. The employees here are also nice. A couple asked how I was doing and offered any help if I needed it. Super cool place. All prices are cheap but still quality. Can't find anything wrong with this place. This is probably the most organized Burlington Coat Factory I've been too! I came here today and didn't find exactly what I needed, but I was able to look around the store. They had a lot of selections for clothes and sizes. They also had a good selection of decorations. I came here during the day and it wasn't very crowded. I will definitely come back here again for decor. read more

Unbelievable. I'm sitting in my car outside the parking lot and I'm shocked. I brought a piece of crap back because it doesn't look good on me. It had the tag on and I never wore it! I like to shop and then try the stuff out at my home. So it was just sitting in my house and I said you know? I'm going to take it back for store credit because I didn't have the receipt (just like any normal store does) so I come and I'm the most polite person and I said excuse me I know I can't get a refund because I don't have the receipt so can you please give store credit? By the way this is $8 what I'm talking about! So the manager who looks so miserable and unhappy looks at it and just says no, we can't identify the item. Im like you don't keep an inventory? She said no! I mean what kind of backwards store is it? Every store takes stuff back without receipt as long as you have the tag. She made me so mad because of her attitude which was clearly out of her own frustration in life. I left the piece of crap there I told her to donate it. They lost a valuable customer who could of spent some hundreds of dollars a year there over $8! I only wanted store credit!!!!!! I can't believe people like that have a managerial job! Disgusting. Another episode of treating your customers like they stole something I just wanted to exchange 3 shirts for the same type of shirts in a different size. I didn't have the receipt but the tags were still intact. So I went through the usual 20 minutes of dialogue only to have Burlington do absolutely and tell me they could not accept the return for exchange. I shop there because they're one of very few stores that carry my size. But sometimes it's just not worth it. Will they ever learn what customer service is? I doubt it, seeing that no one in this corporation seems to care about customer service. I've written several letters only two received no response. That pretty much sums it up right there. Burlington has great merchandise. Just make sure you never ever ever ever need to return anything.. read more

Clean store with a fantastic selection of clothing, shoes, and purses/handbags! They have so many bags they have to organize them by color...so awesome. Shoe selection was pretty good too - aisles were large enough for two or even three people to try on shoes at the same time which is rare these days. I am so impressed that I was able to get name brand women's suits for a huge discount. I will definitely be looking here for my professional clothing wardrobe from here on out. read more

One star rating from me. I haven't had any good experiences while shopping at this store. Specifically with management. I made a few purchase back in August. During which I went on vacation for two weeks. About 40 days later, I wanted to return some shoes, in unused condition. Now I know it had been over the 30 day grace period for an original payment refund, so I was willing to get store credit. The cashier informed me she would be giving $4 for the shoes, I paid $16ish. I asked why, she stated that that's what her register was saying. I didn't understand. Store policy returns read "Non-receipted returns" are entitled to the lowest price. I HOWEVER had a receipt and an unused item. The applied policy should have been..."receipted returns accepted after 30 days will receive refunds in the form of a gift card" of to which the store did not honor. I asked her to point out in the policy where it stated that I was only entitled to a lowest price with a receipt and unused item. She couldn't point it out, and agreed it wasn't there. She made no effort to help and said she couldn't do anything about it. I asked to speak to a manager, and to my surprise she was the manager. I was disappointed in the service. I emailed Burlington's customer service email, only to be told that she was entitled to make her decision. In my opinion, a decision that had nothing to do with store policy and wasn't following policy protocol. Today I decided to stop by, see if I could find any bargains. I personally don't like shopping at this location but it's on route so I decided to stop by. I found some bowls from the clearance section and wanted to ask if the bowls could be discounted a bit more since there was one missing, and the second one broken. I only wanted the two left in the box. The cashier asked her supervisor and came back without any bowls and said she couldn't sell them. I asked her why and she said it was a liability issue. I wasn't asking for the broken plate, I was asking to purchase the two in good condition. The cashier went to say "I don't know, that's what she said" I found it, a bit strange since the second set of diner wear I was purchasing from the clearance section were in a broken/beat up box and could literally fall out, exposed to breaking. Overall, I don't like how the employees handle customers and their concerns. Wish I could say I won't be shopping here ever again, but the reality is that it's a store. And although I love a different Burlington location, i don't enjoy my shopping experiences at this particular location. Service is not a priority. read more

Very dissapointing visit. I don't get upset until I feel truly disrespected and the managers demeanor was enough to tick off any one .The manager (Ms Jonie) was extremely rude she had an attitude like she didn't care, made me feel devalued as a customer. Half way through talking to Ms Jonie she walked away from me. I asked for the customer service number and Ms jonie replied by saying "I'm not afraid of you". This whole experience was uncalled for, I wasn't asking for much. I understand it's the holidays and you're trying to go home at a decent hour but I'm not asking for you to go above and beyond when I simply came in for a return during the hours your store was supposed to be open. I don't think it's right when businesses more so the manager on duty decides to close the store early just because they feel like it. The hours of operation are by the company not for you to decide just because you want to go home early. I plan my day accordingly and came to this location because I googled the website to make sure the store was open prior to arrival other wise I wouldn't have wasted my time and my gas on the drive. I had arrived 30 minutes prior to closing which was plenty of time to do my return. It was only one item mind you I would have been in and out in a minute and it would have then been a pleasant visit. I know it's December. I know it's busy every where right now. I also know good retailers stock a pretty full staff to compensate for the crazy high volume of the holiday season. Except for this Burlington Coat Factory location. Not only are they under staffed, the people answering the phones and manning the registers are rude. This place has continually exceeded my expectations for work clothes, shoes, etc. I generally find what I need and am often surprised by what I walk out with. Staff have always been very accommodating, giving me the lower price when I found two of the same items priced differently and, on the the one occasion I had to return something, it was no hassle. Definitely worth stopping in if you are after shoes, work clothes, gym clothes, the odd household item or even small electronic items. read more

I went there tonight and waited in line for about 25 minutes & i'm not exaggerating. There was probably about 15 people in front of me and only two registers open. There were two ladies in the back who seemed to be managers and were asked various times to open another register but they did nothing about it. They just talked to each other and laughed. You would think that once you got to the register after all that waiting, you would be greeted by a person with excellent people skills. But no, to top it off there was a guy on register one who was so rude and seemed like he did not want to be there at all. Horrible customer service!! read more

It seems as though EVERY TIME that I go into this store I have a bad experience with Johnnie (a cashier) she is ALWAYS nasty towards me and say inappropriate things to me as a customer. i just left the store tonite and I said that I will be using a credit card. She said don't slide the card yet, so I waited and once she finished I ran my card thru the card reader she said "Didn't I tell you to wait". The male cashier looked at her and then at me in disbelief that she was talking to me like this. I looked at her and did not respond. So I paid and left the store upset & very pissed off. I lived in San Diego for a long time I was here when this burlibgton location was a Kmart. I was so excited when burlington coat factory arrived on the scene. I used to shop at the one on el cajon but this location is closest. My first time there i was shocked at how I was treated. The only good customer service i seen was from the security gaurd at the front entrance. He also helped people with there bags while they waited in line. There is an african american lady who claims she is the stupivisor and she has a wig of some sort on her head I dont know her name but she is fairly tall for a women. You can tell its not her hair at all its in a ponytail of some kind but she gives me a problem everytime. I asked about the socks that was 4 for $9.99 but you couldnt tell whick was on sale another employee lets me know you need to see the word promo. The lady with an attitde just says no those socks are not the discounted ones how do i know if you dont explain it to me. Then she denied my $250.00 EGIFT card. What type of bullshit is that I asked why and she said it has to be a physical card. How can it be a physical card or printed when its a electronic gift card. So I leave all my clothes on the counter and leave without arguing and went to another location and had no problem. She is going to make no one want to come to that store just watch. I LOOOOOOVE THIS STORE!!!! I must admit that I at first thought that all the BCF sold was, well, JUST COATS!! I've never been to another BCF for the simple fact that they weren't near where I live. This new location is super close, and if you use public transportation like I do, there's easy connections with three bus routes- 955, 10 and 7. I love everything about the store- great mark downs on just about the entire store, friendly staff, they even sell nursing scrubs- not a huge selection, but they have different scrubs each time I go visit. The one thing that really caught my attention and will definitely keep me coming back, is the aroma throughout the ENTIRE store!! I can't quite explain the fragrance, but it's a cross between an air freshner, cologne, and I guess a flower of some type- perhaps gardenias. When you first enter the store, you can smell the fragrance. I went to the scented candle aisle to see if I could possibly find the "culprit" in one of their scented sachets- no such luck. I think it must be some type of automatic aromatic device or something-lol!!! Anyhoo, a very clean, very affordable, very nice smelling new shopping experience!! What the hell really then she checks everything else n looks at each one like if there insects ..i just bought them two days ago .
