I'm so glad we did! We ordered the Original, Spicy Original, Honey Garlic, Gangnam Style, potstickers, and the Rose Ddeok-bokki. The Honey Garlic wings were hands down my favorite--they were perfectly crispy, flavorful, and had just the right balance of sweet and savory. The Original and Spicy Original were also really good, and the Gangnam Style didn't disappoint either. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the Rose Ddeok-bokki. It just wasn't for me. The only downside is the price. An 8-piece order of wings is about $18.00 before tip, which is definitely on the expensive side. That said, the quality of the food makes it worth treating yourself every now and then. The restaurant itself is really cute, with a few outdoor tables and a small bar ledge inside if you want to dine in. The customer service has always been friendly whenever I've visited. Just keep in mind that the food is made fresh, so it usually takes about 20-30 minutes. Don't go in super hungry unless you're okay with waiting, or better yet, place your order ahead of time and take it to go. Overall, this is a great spot if you're craving delicious Korean fried chicken. I'll definitely be back, especially for those Honey Garlic wings!

Came here to get takeout and i was pleasantly surprised with the food. This isn't the traditional take of Burmese food as I thought. They really tweaked to the local western taste here and the dishes that we ordered were delicious especially the burmese style burritos. Their tea leaf salad is also amazing! That said this dish is refreshingly tasty, zesty and fragrant (from the fried peas and garlic and their own special house concoction of the tea mixed dressing). Highly recommended to try this. We also ordered the garlic noodles that came with a side sauce you are supposed to mix in to enhance the flavor even more. The noodle itself was already tasty on its own though. I've always enjoyed the creative Burmese street food-inspired dishes at Burma Bites, but I was disappointed to see that their Kebat Chicken is no longer on the menu. It was a real standout for me with its perfectly wok-tossed spices, cilantro, and that hit of tamarind. While the food is still flavorful, the loss of that dish definitely leaves a gap. That being said, there are still plenty of delicious options, like the Mint Chicken Bowl and Salt & Pepper Wings, which showcase the fresh, bold flavors Burma Bites is known for. The quick service and casual vibe are great, but I do hope they bring back the Kebat Chicken soon! Overall, still a solid spot for a unique meal. read more

Not my favorite, but still pretty good. Calamansi soda -- honorable mention because I love calamansi and was so excited to see that they had this as an option! We were a group of 5, and after about a 20 min wait (pretty much par-for-the-course for a Saturday night), we were seated. They do have tables outside, but we were told that we couldn't start our meal outside and then move to a table indoors after one was available, so we waited. Oh well! As we waited, we noticed a steady stream of online orders, indicating this is a popular place with those in the neighborhood. We got a few beers while we waited for a table. They also have Thai iced teas/coffee/lemonade, and serve young coconuts with water. We got a bunch of appetizers to share and some entrees. We got the crispy rice pork salad, this is served with lettuce leaves and herbs and a wedge of lime. I loved this dish - the crispy rice and ground pork combination was balanced and the squeeze of lime juice made for a perfect bite wrapped in a lettuce leaf with mint and cilantro. Next was the Bird & Buffalo Chicken wings, perfectly crispy and tossed in salt and pepper. Good for folks who don't enjoy the spice. We also got the grilled pork spare ribs to share, which folks enjoyed. For entrees we had the drunken noodles with pork, green curry with rice and massaman curry with rice. I could have done with a spicier version of the green curry, but it was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a solid spot for Thai food - we will be back to sample some of their other dishes too!

The sour mustard add a bit of tanginess to the creamy coconut and curry flavor and that juicy chilcken thigh got me.to want more. Very few places that would make me.say j need to go back.for this one dish and the chicken curry was the winner for me.

The day of, we were promptly seated and orders came out with the name of the person I provided on the list, making matching the dish to the person super easy (and people forget what they order). Everyone enjoyed their food. I ordered the spicy noodles and I wasn't super excited about them because they had too much sauce. I also tried the tofu options, which to my surprised, featured super firm, pressed tofu. Also wasn't my favorite. However, I tried my coworker's fiery shrimp which was delicious and so was the garlic and pepper shrimp dish. Oh, and Burmese tea salad was delish. 5/5 would definitely order again. Everything was super smooth and very affordable. I'd be happy to dine there again and they made group dining a breeze. The only caveat was that the back of the restaurant's acoustics are really bad! Or good? We were nearly shouting at each other to talk and the rest of us had aching ears.

When I showed up for my pick-up order, I noticed there was a print out sign on the door that read "takeout only". When I stepped inside, this sign was confirmed: the restaurant was completely gated off from guest access; only the counter was available to pickup orders. When I unpacked my order at home, I was surprised to find that five sesame balls had been included as a dessert. What a nice, unexpected gesture. The salt and pepper fish filet doesn't have the strongest white pepper flavor to it, but the salt is definitely there. Unlike the crispy, battered layer you find on fish and chips, the breading for the fish here is a light panko breading. If it's not panko, the crust certainly reminds me of the exterior of dino chicken nuggets you can buy from Costco. The fish inside is not the flakiest, but it's firm and has a bite to it. The minced bits of jalapeños included with this dish are deep fried, and I like that the seeds are left in so there's still a kick to them. The Bepking pork chops are sweet and tangy, similar to sweet and sour pork. The pieces of pork chops are lean and meaty, and the red sauce goes wonderfully over some white rice. Overall, I'm quite happy with my meal from Holly's Mandarin. The food here definitely satisfied my craving for Americanized Chinese food.
