We constantly look for unique dining experiences and had never tried Burmese food, so we were looking forward to this restaurant. We were greeted immediately when we entered and ordered two Burmese iced teas. They had a very different sweet flavor that we really liked. We ordered the leaf salad with roasted seeds. It was a very large portion and was really good. I eat a lot of salads and this was probably one of the best. We also ordered the chicken and noodles with curry dish. It was also a large, shareable portion. My son said the chicken was very tender and the mixture of the flavors in the noodles was delicious . The service was excellent and the staff seemed genuinely interested in checking to see if we enjoyed the food. We would definitely recommend this restaurant! read more

I had been to this restaurant/store before when it was occupied by Von's chicken, so I know the place would be decent in terms of cleanliness. The waiter was friendly and attentive, and our water got refilled fairly quickly. Quick glance at the menu, I could tell that the price point is on the higher end relative to other asian cuisines, but that was to be expected in this day and age with everything increasing by about 25%-50%. What I was not expecting was the serving size of the dishes. I ordered garlic noodles, chicken curry and black pepper beef. I thought the garlic noodle, looked rather simple, but tasted the best; couldn't taste much garlic flavor, but it was definitely well seasoned. The chicken was bland as if there's no seasoning before being cooked with the curry, and the curry itself tasted normal. The black pepper beef is the same story. The beef itself had no flavor; just a bland piece of meat with black pepper sauce all over it. The dishes came at a surprisingly fast pace...faster than fast food restaurants. However, the drawback was that everything came lukewarm at best, to the point where I couldn't even tell whether the garlic noodle was supposed to be served hot/cold. For the price and quality of food served, I think there's better options. read more

We ordered the tea salad per recommendations, as well as the basil & dried chili beef plus minted jalapeno chicken. All of the food was fantastic. Well seasoned, fresh, and the meat was tender. Burmese iced tea was delicious (of note this does come sweetened with milk). We also has the banana palatka for dessert which we enjoyed. Servers were attentive, polite, and very helpful. Been meaning to patronize this spot since it opened. Havent don't so in person yet though. The wife and I have been under the weather so ordered delivery. The garlic noodles, pad Thai, sesame beef, and papaya salad were excellent. The papaya salad a more dry and mild version of its Thai counterpart. The Burma tea also was smooth and not too sweet. Definitely need to try this place in person. I would say that's the ultimate judgement as take out can be hit or Miss. highly recommended for take out I'm sure the food would be even better in person.
