Oh hell yeah. Was pumped for a new AYCE restaurant, but Mongolian?? I'm a fan. Place was really clean, had just opened up a few days earlier (basted on our visit, which was mid Jan). Lots of protein to choose from: chicken, pork, beef, shrimp and I liked the noodles but they were really hard to separate and were really long. If they had just chopped the contents once or twice for smaller noodles it would have been easier to fill my bowl. Veggie choices weee similar to other places I've visited, broccoli, carrots, bamboo shoots, onions... The sauces are pretty standard but we did notice that there was no teriyaki! Like I said, this draft has been pending since idk when. Tipping is optional but recommended when the guy is grill it up. Overall the I thought it was great but those missing sauces were noticeable (they may have expanded by the time I posted this but if not, please add: ) Also missing from other places was fried rice & an egg roll. They did have white rice and soup but nothing t

Their price for an all-you-can-eat place is extremely reasonable. I really liked both of their complementary soups. The servers were very attentive to refilling water and also new customers that had just walked in. They were also really attentive to make sure that the buffet line was stocked. Be sure to say thank you to those that are running the grill. I left stuffed for a very, very reasonable price.

First time visit. Pretty good. Very nice service. Food was great. You pay first, they assign you a table, then you load up your bowl and hand over to the person cooking. I got the pork and lamb, some tofu, diff veggies, variety of sauces. The staff was attentive, asked how my food was and refilled my soda. I went in when it wasn't too busy, but I imagine it gets packed during lunch and dinner. I will visit again.

My husband has been craving Mongolian food lately and came across M Grill Mongolian Grill, which just so happened to be only about 10 minutes from our house. Perfect timing! Because the other closest Mongolian spot that we like is all the way in Roseville which is a bit of a drive for us. According to our server, they opened about a month ago and are local and family-owned, which we love supporting! The restaurant is in a somewhat quiet plaza, but it's right next to Chipotle off of Zinfandel, so there's plenty of foot traffic and lots of parking, which is always a plus. Walking in, the space is extremely clean with plenty of seating. Check-in and the menu are immediately to the left when you enter, making the process very easy and straightforward. My husband and I were especially excited that it's AYCE for $18.50 for dinner and weekends. Such a steal! The price also includes an optional bowl of rice and soup (egg drop or hot & sour). We opted for rice and two egg drop soups, and wow... we were both very impressed. The egg drop soup was flavorful and comforting. We liked it better than other places that offer egg drop soups. Definitely a must to get when coming here! The ingredient bar had a great selection of proteins, veggies, and sauces to customize your bowl before it's cooked on the Mongolian grill. Everything looked fresh and well stocked. The servers were also very attentive, constantly checking in to make sure everyone had drink refills, rice, soup, and anything else they needed. The only thing I think would elevate this place even more is a sauce guide that I've seen at other Mongolian grill places. Something that shows how to combine sauces for different flavor profiles (sweet & sour, spicy, etc.). That would be super helpful, especially for first-timers. Overall, we're thrilled to finally have a local Mongolian grill spot close to home. We're already telling all of our friends and family to check it out, and we'll definitely be back!

Tried out the new Mongolian bbq place Price is good. $15 weekday lunch (1 bowl) $18 dinner and weekends (all you can eat) Staff is very nice and friendly. Food: Overall for the price. It's good. But all in all it does miss the mark. Carbs include noodles. Protein: pork, beef, imitation crab, sausage and small shrimp. There's a variety of veggies as well. Sauces: garlic, ginger, hot oil, soy, Mongolian bbq. The shrimp was covered in ice so it's annoying to try and scoop a bunch only to get 1bshrimp and a spoonful of ice. The sauces are very liquid heavy so you want to get multiple scoops just to have flavor. And when the chef cooks your food, he uses water so that dilutes the flavor more. The sauces are salt heavy so you're missing anything that will balance out the salt. No sweet sauce, no thicker sauce, and the hot oil doesn't have enough spice to offset either. So that's the big con is lack of balance in flavor palette - for comparison. If you've been to the hibachi grill and buffet on sunrise, they use a house sauce while cooking so it adds flavor on top of the garlic oil.

A good lunch, except for the hotdogs...

A new family run Mongolian BBQ opened up right next to the chipotle on Zinfandel. I decided to try it for lunch, and it was very good, with just a couple of small glitches. The price is very reasonable, lunch is until 3 PM Monday through Friday, and then the rest of the time it's the dinner menu. Lunch is one serving, dinner, which is just a few dollars more, is an expanded menu, and is also all you can eat. One bowl at lunchtime was enough for me. With lunch, you also get a small bowl of rice, and a choice of either hot and sour or egg flower soup. The egg flower soup was very good. It's your typical Mongolian BBQ, where you go down the buffet line, selecting your meat, veggies, and then your sauce. The meats were good, and the veggies were very fresh. Unfortunately, the meats on the line were not labeled. I obviously knew which one was the beef, but I wasn't able to tell whether the others were chicken, turkey, or pork. They also had hot dogs on the meat line. I tried the hot dogs, but they didn't "do it" for me. To me, hot dogs just don't go with Mongolian BBQ. I'm glad I tried it, but I will skip them next time. When you get to the grill, the sauces are labeled, but there are no instructions. Other Mongolian, BBQ places, for example, they will have like a little recipe card, saying if you want this type of sauce, do a ladle of this, a ladle of that, etc. There's none of that here. Just the sauces that are labeled. Also, when he cooks your food on the grill, afterwards they put it onto a plate. I prefer my Mongolian BBQ in a bowl, because it's easier to eat. These are all small things that I did notice. Overall, the meal was very good. Quite a few restaurants have cycled through this space over the years, I really hope that this place makes it. Thank you for a good meal.

Great food, decent price and atmosphere. I'll be coming back! The staff was kind and they prepared our food quickly. Plus the soup was nice too that came with the dinner.

I have been looking for a new Mongolian bbq restaurant as all the other ones around the Sacramento area have gotten really expense and quality went down. This restaurant was refreshingly clean and had all the ingredients we like to put in our bowl. Instead of an eggroll and fried rice, this restaurant offered soup (egg drop or hot and sour) and rice. I was use to more sauce options when trying to come up with a mix for the bowl. My first bowl was a little bland but second was too salty. Overall it was a decent price for AYCE and I would come back if I'm in the area.

What a great addition to Rancho Cordova! Nice, clean and great service for a Mongolian BBQ. Everything looked fresh too. My Concoction came out great!

Great value in the Rancho Cordova area. Who would've thought that a Mongolian BBQ restaurant can be charming, delicious, and fairly priced? Unlike other AYCE restaurants, M Grill priced their lunch and dinner with consideration in today's economy. Meat selections of chicken, beef, lamb, and pork. We were surprised to see shrimp, imitation crab, and chicken sausage amongst the selections. The service is fast and efficient. The food is cooked quickly and efficiently. The ambiance is no-frill and utilitarian. They did not increase prices to pay for useless decors. Now that we've discovered this restaurant, we will be back frequently and telling everyone about it. Great job and keep up the excellent work!

Might be the best mongolian bbq i've ever had. I was really impressed. We went in for the AYCE option which I believe was around $18 per person. They offer rice and two choices of soups to start with. My husband ordered the egg drop while I got the hot & sour soup. Both tasted pretty good. Everything was honestly really good and easy to curate. The noodles were perfect. I usually like to eat and gravitate towards more protein but I couldn't get enough of the noodles

This Mongolian BBQ spot just opened next door to Chipotle, and we were pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered a to-go bowl, which came with a small side of white rice and a choice of soup (miso or hot & sour). He chose the hot & sour, which was flavorful and comforting. The portion size was generous for the price ($15.50) and definitely filling. They offer clear and reasonable pricing, which I appreciated. Lunch (Monday-Friday, 11am-3pm) is $15.50 per bowl, with kids pricing available, and to-go bowls are priced the same. Dinner and weekends offer an all-you-can-eat option for $18.50, which is a great value if you're really hungry. Drinks are $2.99, and kids' prices are clearly listed by age. The concept is simple and fun: you build your own bowl, then hand it to an employee who cooks it fresh right in front of you on a large flat top. There were lots of protein options, and the noodles were thick and hearty. I tried the food and really liked that it was very flavorful without being overly salty, which can sometimes be an issue at places like this. Service really stood out--everyone was kind, friendly, and welcoming, especially for a brand-new spot. There's a small seating area inside with tables and chairs if you want to eat there, but it also works great for takeout. Overall, great value, solid portions, tasty food, and friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

And it comes with rice and soup!

Customer Service: 0/10 It was our first time here, and the staff did not greet us when we walked in. We ordered our food from a kiosk, and the young Asian lady working didn't even inform us that there was self-serve water or where to find to-go boxes; we had to figure it out ourselves and go ask. Worse, she completely ignored my daughter when she tried to ask a question, literally trying to make herself look busy even though she knew my daughter was speaking to her. During our meal, we noticed that while she completely ignored us, she actively greeted and thanked the other customers who came in after us. When we left, she was standing right at the cash register and completely ignored us again. It is incredibly disappointing to see an employee be so selective about who they want to greet and provide decent customer service to. Furthermore, whether she is part of the family that owns the place or not, her attire was entirely inappropriate for a work environment--she was wearing black-and-white checkered pajama pants with an oversized t-shirt. Professionalism and basic courtesy seem entirely missing here. Please do better. Food Review: * Cucumber Salad: Had no flavor. It was basically just sliced cucumber tossed with some sesame oil. I love cucumber salad, so this was a major disappointment. Rate: 0/10 * Chili Wonton: Super plain with literally no flavor. I love chili wontons, and these were completely tasteless. Imagine eating wontons with absolutely no seasoning. Rate: 0/10 * Chow Mein: This was okay--probably the best dish out of everything we ordered. Rate: 3/10 * Black & Gold Molten Lava Bun: It looked interesting with a sweet, glittering liquid gold filling inside, but it wasn't as good as it looked. While the bun was soft, the filling fell short. Rate: 2/10 * Shrimp & Pork Shaomai: Just okay. We've had much better elsewhere. The outside wraps were dried out and chewy. The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.

They offer a breakfast buffet that does not come with the room and it's on the upscale side with nicer items than you'd find at some included buffet with an automated pancake machine and cereal and milk on offer. The buffet has nice breakfast meats eggs, potatoes and other hot items served out of heated large skillets on a buffet. The cost is $18.95 plus tax and a little tip, you're looking at a little over $20.00 for breakfast, very nice if you have an expense account! Dinner will run you about $20 plus drinks and extras. Menu looked promising and the look of the restaurant looked great online so my wife and I decided to go there for dinner. We got there and stood by the entrance where the podium is. We stood there for around 10 minutes while wait staff walked past us and didn't say anything. We did see a few people seated but they were loud and a bit drunk. After 10 minutes we gave up and walked out. I'm sure the front desk personnel saw us standing there and they didn't summon a host/hostess or didn't say anything to us as we walked out. With customer service like that, I doubt the restaurant will be able to succeed unless you make a change pretty quickly.
