I would give it 0 if I could. I had been here a couple times. Im going to spell it out for yall. 1. VIP section is wack af and in such a weird spot 2. The inside is basically empty and ran down 3. Don't even get me started with the restrooms (absolutely disgusting) Finally my experience(s). Most experiences there were okay to start but then it just get weirder and weirder as the night goes along. This is like a beginners night club with a lot of weird people. Some of it is okay but again the later it gets, the weirder it gets. We had over the top security litterly pushing a group of girls down a flight of stairs when we were on our way out for the night. Some security definitely have ego trips here. Just be warned, theres sooo much better than this in S.A. and yall deserve better I imagine. If I can give this place ZERO stars I would . I was really in disbelief with my visit . Me and my family decided to give this spot the benefit of the doubt due to its reviews but can see why this place doesn't have the 5 star rating. We went 1/31/25 and a fight broke out. Instead of "Security" doing their job and getting the perpetrators he went after the innocent group. And allowed them to keep getting attacked and beaten while standing there. It's mind boggling that this place is still running, It has incompetent security guards , staff and owner. This place needs to be shut down after reading the reviews and how their security handles situations improperly and how management hasn't made a dent to make changes, it's no brainer this place needs to be shut down . If You're looking for a fun nightclub experience w ur girls, this is NOT the place 2 be. OVER PRICED, firstly. Wanted a refund as soon as we walked in and saw it empty at 12am. TRASH. This "club" wants to be fancy/a legit club but its in a strip mall and not down town. They are 18+ do if you wanna get drunk with underage students, this is the place for you. They also don't enforce any sort of dress close like a club should. The poor bottle girls are in legit lingerie. opposed to a legitimate uniform like you would see in a real club in a big city. And they don't even attach the sparklers to the bottles so it looks low key dumb. On the plus side, the drinks are cheap and the management is pretty innovative. They hired pole dancers which was a blast. They also rained hundreds of $1, sadly did not time it well so most blew into the parking lot Speaking about the parking lot, it is a HOT mess. Looking for a classy night out on the town. This place was enjoyable. I went on a Saturday night. The music was mainly Latin based & reggae, I loved it; from the rooftop to the inside or the club it was fun and pleasant. It was crowded as a club should be but also it was a lot of empty cups and beer bottles laid around on tables, ledges... pretty much whenever someone could have place their empty or half drunken cups/bottles they did. There was a really drunk girl who was acting belligerent it took a while to get her out the cup but eventually they did. Then of course due to all the half full cups that were left around in the process of escorting this drunk girl it the club someone hit one off a ledge which fell in my sisters white dress . Not to thrilled about that, but overall it was a good night, I'll definitely give them a try again. read more

Don't go to the clubs in this area if you want peace. Also the bartender charged me $10 for a free water cup. I was trying to leave and security was constantly harassing me, and wouldn't leave me a lone. Was just minding my business and one of the security guards (short blonde white security mid 40's female employee) was very disrespectful and has an harassing addiction. She consistently attempts to use whatever power she has instead of helping others like a decent individual. Security should only be there to help and de-escalate. Instead she enticed issues to arise. 1/10 for the amount of decency within the security for this lady. She just ruins the night life and should not be employed. read more

It was poppin when I went. They have a two DJ set up and primarily hip hop which is a nice niche, the one critique I have though is the fact that it is difficult to reach and you have to know where you're going to find it. This is the same issue as DZIR, lots of stairs and the entrance is in the back, but to no fault of the location. It is a place to check out and I hope the next time I come by it can wow me and give me something more unique to remember it by. read more

They told us our ID's were fake! 10-15 mins of noting but bullcrap!!! Just bc we are from Louisiana doesn't mean we are trying to "fake" our age to get in a club!! Absolutely trash security. Small blonde woman interrogated us accusing us of already being intoxicated and asking (extremely condescending) how old we are even though we are OBVIOUSLY over 21. Even being sober she accused us of already being drunk saying she can see it in my eyes and she's been 'doing this for a long time'. This is just my normal eyes. I'm in the military so finding clubs isn't easy. So I went on instagram per usual I looked at Dzir which is the club next door within the first 10 pics I seen no one of color. But I went and looked at burnhouse and I can see how diverse the community was in there so I gathered a group of friends and we went. Security was hard but I'm sure it was for safety. This is my new favorite Latin night spot! I had a great time last night came in around midnight. Cucumber drinks with chile on the rim are a must! We were also given a free fruity flavored hookah & free shots because a third party company had messed up on our order (thank you-our Burnhouse server's customer service was good). We stumbled upon the Burnhouse after an evening down at Picks and Lush. We walked in and really liked the look of the facility and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Overall the place is good and has potential but why are they playing RAP music in a lounge type establishment. The music should set the mood and it does the opposite for smoking cigars. Maybe it was a special occasion. Lastly the cigar selection was not very plentiful to choose... If it's a cigar bar there should be lots to choose. A good idea for the outdoor patio would be lighters as the wind easily blows out matches. read more

Was overall a pretty cool place with good music BUT the bouncers are HORRIBLE. I almost got kicked out and I wasn't even doing anything wrong. I was a little taken aback when a bouncer rushed up to me and told me I had to leave. Of course I was drunk (it is a bar after all) but I wasn't too drunk. I was not belligerent, wasn't falling down, wasn't incoherent, wasn't arguing with anyone, was not being indecent, I literally was not doing anything that could have warranted me getting kicked out. When I asked the bouncer why I had to leave he literally refused to give me an answer and just kept telling me I had to leave. He finally realized I was completely fine and should not be kicked out and I was able to continue my night. But it kind of sucked because I felt like I really had to watch myself even though I didn't do anything wrong in the first place. Out of all of the bars and clubs I've been to in LA, Las Vegas, and San Antonio (some of which I have been way more drunk at than I was at Burnhouse) I have not once been told that I had to leave. After seeing the reviews on this place and seeing that a lot of other people have had problems with the bouncers/security as well it all makes sense. A frequent patron of Pick's bar in the same strip, I recently discovered Burnhouse. I'm 33 and have been around the world. A noob I am not in bar hopping. I get my ID checked by the security which was fine. After seeing them stamping hands or giving wristbands for people of age, I make my way to the door. The little lady there says it's a $10 cover. For $10 I want to know if it's worth the money. I ask her "how are the drinks?". She gets an attitude. She did not represent the establishment in a positive light.
