    Bibimbap and some sharable dishes!

Always my favorite go-to bibimbap place. Delicious cook-to-order food. Fast service and restaurant is always kept clean. Will definitely be back soon.

Literally so good, I'm not even kidding. Always taste fresh and delicious, especially the kimchi rice. Service is pretty fast too, don't have to wait long and it's usually quiet whenever I go.

Wow, there's authentic, healthy Korean food right in the middle of the Park Cities! I stopped by Burning Rice to try things out and can verify that you can save the drive up north by having Korean close by. For those unfamiliar, Bibimbap is just simply Korean version of fried rice but with a lot of healthy veggies and meat combined together with rice and some tasty sauces. I would call it a non-oily, healthy version of fried rice but every bit as tasty. Check it out! We ordered the abundant bowl which is a lot of food and also a regular bibimbop and enjoyed everything.

I decided to order in delivery from Burning Rice for lunch. I was excited to try something new and was certainly not disappointed. In addition to the beef bowl, I enjoyed the dumplings. The dumplings were gone before I could take a photo ... I really enjoyed them. The beef bowl was also lovely. I'm sure I'll be ordering from here more often!

I enjoyed the concept of Burning Rice a lot. After all, bibimbap made-to-order stores and chains exist, but they almost always bypass the hot stone bowl part. I'm glad that here you can design your own bowl AND it comes in the sizzling hot stone bowl. The only issue is that I found it to be a little lacking in flavor and the meat was a bit tough. May have been an unfortunate batch/maybe we were meant to put more sauce on it. Overall, though, it is worth a try and I hope to be back!

4.5 stars Burning rice is delicious fast food chain serving Korean stone bowls (bibimbap) that consists of rice, a variety of veggies, and a protein topped with a fried egg. Being a bibimbap fanatic, this is one of our must eat places whenever we visit the DFW area. I love that there's so many variety of items to choose from and you can customize pretty much everything in your bowl, including how you want your egg (sunny side, over easy, medium, well done, or scrambled) My husband and I always get the hot stone bowl and it word of caution it comes super steamy hot!!! The food tastes and smells delicious but it's so hot you really have to pace yourself. This time around we got the bbq pork, bbq chicken and crispy chicken as proteins, all very yummy, and they give you a good portion as well. My only complaint is that you can tell they add a lot of oil at the bottom of the stone bowl so by the end of my bowl everything was drenched in oil. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our meal very much. Next time we're in town, will definitely be back!

We decided to try out a different location of Burning Rice. This time around we ordered the spicy bulgogi and spicy garlic pork bibimbap. The spicy bulgogi was a huge disappointment. Although the flavor was okay, the shredded texture wasn't appealing. Alas, both the spicy bulgogi and the spicy garlic pork weren't spicy at all. The word "spicy" should be removed from the menus since it is misleading. We also ordered the Korean fried chicken bites (not pictured), which was far superior compared to the spicy bulgogi bibimbap. I'm open to trying other items on the menu, but I'm not ordering the bulgogi again.

Great food, good service. Ordering and paying is quick and easy. Socially distanced table. Food options are great. Mix and match however you want, but really it's build the bowl you want. Ingredients were fresh. Definitely will be back to try combinations of other bowls. Happy eating!

Burning rice is a great customizable bibimbap chain. Perfect for picky eaters. I would recommend paying the extra money for a hot stone bowl; it really does make a big difference. You can skip the miso soup, though, since it gets cold super fast and is nothing too special.

Everything we ordered was tender, moist, incredibly flavorful, and clearly made with a lot of care. It's not cheap--we spent about $77--but after eating it, I will say it was worth the price. The pastrami brisket was the standout for me. Perfectly seasoned, ridiculously tender, and packed with flavor. The burnt end beans were another must-order--smoky, rich, and loaded with pieces of meat. The beef cheek with chimichurri was also incredible; melt-in-your-mouth tender, with the chimichurri adding the perfect freshness to cut through the richness. Honestly, though, there wasn't a bad thing on the tray. Everything was delicious, from the meats to the sides. You can taste the quality and the time that goes into the food. $77 well spent. Cattleack is absolutely worth the stop, and I'd come back just for that pastrami brisket.

I read about the long lines and the lack of parking, but when I visited, it was maybe an hour before they closed, so I was actually able to find parking right outside the front door, and there was no line. There were also plenty of seating inside. When I got there, they were out of certain items, but that was expected since they are in high demand. Since it was just me, I ordered half a pound of brisket and half a pound of ribs along with a side of mac and cheese. To be honest, it did not live up to its hype. The brisket was a little dry, and for how much they charge per pound, I was expecting more meat than fat. The ribs were my favorite, and the mac and cheese was ok too. I got my order to go, and they only gave me a few sandwich bread slices and like 2 small containers of pickles. I think next time IF i go and IF i happen to be in the area i will try to eat inside that way I can get more of the bread/pickles because i love those on my BBQ.

Hey Lockhart Smokehouse!…read more (And I'm curious WHY you are called Lockhart - 'cause I used to live in Austin, TX, and going to Lockhart for BBQ was one of our favorite Friday afternoon excursions...) The vibe in this place is really great. The people are friendly. Downtown Plano is cool. The restaurant and bar area are clean, well-attended, and the food and drink are all good. So why only 3-stars? To be fair, I came here on a weeknight around 6:30pm, which is not the best way to judge a BBQ place. I will try to come back on a Friday at lunch time, and I hope things will be epic. Bottom line, I wasn't blown away by the meats! They were well cooked, but the flavor just didn't impress. The Sause (sorry, I'm a Rudy's loyalist) was tasty, but didn't blow my mind. A nice sweet + smoky flavor that worked better with the Spare Ribs than the Brisket. (Another minot note -- I know a lot of BBQ places eschew Baby Back Ribs for Spare Ribs. Lockhart only does Spare Ribs.) Would I come back? 100% Would I recommend that you go here? 100% I have to say the bartender was terrific, and the pit masters were super friendly, so no dis on the staff. I was just hoping for "oh my god" BBQ and didn't quite get there. Still a great visit.

This time, I had birria tacos on my mind. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - I love the Dallas Farmer's Market, and Hurtado is the perfect restaurant to occupy this space. There is a line that steadily moves, nice outdoor and indoor seating, and if you walk towards the back you can see all the smokers. If you visit on a weekend, try to arrive before noon to avoid long lines. 1 Star. Service - You place your order, take a number, and your order is brought out to you. While you don't get to see the staff cut your meat in front of you, they are very fast and efficient. There are also Hurtado staff who will clear plates off your table. Great people here. 1 Star. Food - I came for the Birria tacos. Hurtado uses their smoked brisket, which shredded and paired will all things that make Hurtado special - Mexico flavors (cilantro, onions, and that beefy consommé). I also ordered a two-meat plate with brisket and bacon burnt ends. The brisket is great (and well represented in many Yelp reviews). On this visit, the bacon burnt ends stole the spotlight. A well-seasoned and smoked pork belly cube will melt in your mouth. I washed down my meal with the Tres Leches Banana Pudding and ended an incredible meal. One last very important note, Hurtado is a great value. My two tacos, 2 meat plate, and desert were $50. P.S. I split this meal with my son. I love food but I'm not a glutton. 2 Stars.
