Burrito Bandito is awesome! I eat there all of the time. I love the shredded beef burrito bowl. I get it with the cabbage base instead of the beans and rice and I add all of the toppings. Great food. Fast service. A favorite place to eat. read more

This review is long overdue. I went here on my birthday, so expectations were already high. I'd never been here before so while contemplating the menu (and trying to wrangle kids) the person taking my order waited so patiently I almost forgot they were there. The burritos here looked like they could feed a small army, so not feeling up to the challenge I ordered a bowl with chicken and steak, some items on the side some items inside. Basically a hodge podge of customization that I'm sure was annoying. They handled it all without batting an eye and my food was ready before I was done figuring out what salsas I might want to try (the wall of salsa selections for purchase is awesomely intimidating to see). Now I am a Chipotle fan from way back, hardcore dedicated where even the food poisoning scare didn't deter me, it made me go more because of short lines. That being said Burrito Bandito just may have booted them out of first place (I say may because a visit would require a 5 hour roundtrip drive). The rice was beyond spectacular, and I am pretty picky about my Spanish rice especially since gummy rice seems to be standard at most fast food places. The meat was flavorful, the salsas and add ons all consistent in size and taste and get this: AVOCADO WAS NOT EXTRA that alone gave it top billing in my book. Our party of almost 15 left stuffed, as everything here is inexpensive yet huge. No photos as we were starving and just dived in, maybe next time. Burrito Bandito, I miss you don't forget about me. I ordered about $75 worth of food. The food was just ok at best. Everything was very bland and I didn't eat my burrito until lunch the following day and it was made wrong. I ordered a chile verdè burrito but received a chopped steak burrito. I usually have no complaints but when spending so much money I expect things to be right. I live 20-25 min away and I'm social distancing myself so there was no one else here to take it back down the hill read more

Sorry for no picture. This place is so good. The chicken is probably their best but all the meats are pretty good. The selection of hot sauces is awesome as well. I always buy a extra bottle off the wall. A cool idea to do when ordering is to ask for an extra tortilla. Can't remember the name for this feature but it cost just a few cents more and you really get filled up to the max. They basically double wrap your burrito. I believe the price is around 9 bucks but its big enough for two or a second helping later. The employees are always super friendly and I have yet to see them screw up an order. Be sure to request your burrito to be cut in half prior to wrapping. Also, when ordering more then one have them write the names on them so you know who's is who's. read more

We used to really like this place for placing orders to go but the service has gone down hill as the prices have gone up. They often don't get the order right anymore and are very inconsistent in how they make the burritos, sometimes giving you very little meat. Also if you don't ask for sauce they won't offer you any and they don't give you complimentary chips like most mexican places. We are looking for a better place on the west side. read more

Burrito Bandito serves large portions with fresh ingredients. They make your food right in front of you! This way you can be certain you are getting what you want, in the amount you want, and nothing you don't. Their burritos and quesadillas are very good. The house salsas are not so good. There is enough food for 2 meals.... unless you happen to be an Olympic Eater!! I always go to the Airport Road location, as it is much better than the one at Placer/Buenaventura for some reason.The wait staff are friendly and helpful. read more

These guy use to be awesome, but now they are just down right greedy. Ordered two burrito, like I always do, one for me and a kids burrito for my daughter, and as always ask for avocado on my daughter's kid burrito. Normally this is not a problem, but this time the guy, whom I am assume was the manager, said we don't do that. So normally I asked when did you stop doing that, and he replied that they have never done that. So I said (and I admit, I was a little rude) I guess never means not since last month? Then he stated (A little rude too), oh we fired that guy. Now I feel bad because we have been going there a least every other month if not every month, ordering the same thing. So I just shut my trap, don't want anyone else getting fired for good customer service. Needless to say they have lost two loyal customers. read more

I've been going to the Burrito Bandidos since I first moved to redding for elementary school, now I'm 19 and I wish I still lived in redding so I could take 1of there giant burritos home but till then I'll be saving my cash for 1 of there special burritos next time I'm in town and I thank Paul for inviting my family to restaurant and letting us enjoy his food it really is the best Burrito Joint I've ever been to and if you don't enjoy your food I'm sorry BUT I'll gladly take yours so don't worry about spoiling the food ^^ read more

Three stars for the food, minus one for the fscking drive. Whose bright idea was it to put this place on the edge of town where like.. no one lives? And my god, the line. It's totally not worth it. I mean, this place isn't bad... and it's one of the few fast-food mexican joints in Redding, but honestly for your gas money, you're better off just going to one of the places in town. This place has really fresh and flavorful offerings sold at reasonable prices, and the staff is fast and friendly. The decorations are a little loud, but we didn't care. Every time I come into town to visit my daughter, we go to Burrito Bandito. The burritos are HUGE and really good. I always get chicken but my son in law likes the shredded beef. I have NEVER had a bad meal from Burrito Bandito. They are fast and very friendly too. Highly recommend! read more

I have been a faithful customer of BB for years. The food has always been fresh, tasty and a good value for the money. The burrito makers are always nice and ask how your day is going as they prepare a custom burrito. Not a great review because I went in a few days ago to get burrito bowls for my family and had the following experience... I was going through the burrito making process, requesting ingredients that get piled into the bowl. As always, I was being thoughtful of what sequence would be most practical for the cook (trying to order all meats at once etc.) As I'm getting ready to pay, the burrito maker gives an epic eye roll to his co-worker about my order?! Did my order annoy him? Did I take up too much of his time ordering burritos at a custom burrito place? I know burrito boy saw me roll his eyes. I know the register chick watched me watch him roll his eyes. I may go back to BB - I may not. Maybe I'll tell everyone BB, which used to be my favorite burrito place in town, has started taking customers for granted. Maybe I'll mention BB has started allowing indignant little pricks to represent them behind the counter, and they have started short changing customers (all three bowls this kid made were about 2/3 of the way full- because I evidently bothered him). Maybe I'll explain to my guests/family next time they want get a good burrito that BB used to be the best, but they stopped caring about customer service - which to me is the beginning of the end. Love me some burrito, half refried half black bean, pork, extra sour cream, jalapeños, cheese, avocado,.... mmmm my problem with this location is that there isn't enough parking... when I wanted chicken tacos for lunch I want em ASAP. Very yummy food and nice people, some concern over sanitation/cross contamination considering the open food preparation area and proximity of customer interaction. The portions are healthy which is nice and with some prodding some employees can be encouraged to have a heavy scooping hand, wink wink. Eat it, enjoy it, burrito bandito. read more

Still an excellent location to get quick good quality food in Redding, but this is not my favorite tasting burrito in town anymore (That goes to Los Gordos). What this place has going for it is insanely fast service, food that is good enough, friendly staff, and very clean establishments. I would definitely eat here no questions asked but I would like them to step up their flavor game especially considering the burritos set you back nearly 10 bucks. read more

For me it is just ok. It's your all american mexican style restaurant. Very american. But keeping in mind I am from San Diego where you have a mexican restaurant on every corner so you get this more authentic mexican food. You go in and you tell them what kind of burrito you want. it's good but like i said very american. you don't get Guacamole you get avocado. the chicken is yummy and again very non authentic mexican- more like teriyaki. The chips are AWESOME. very thin and fresh. They don't have Horchata just your typical soda or energy drinks. If your in the area it's a nice place to stop in and have lunch with someone. I hear the breakfast is bomb. but have not tried it yet. the atmosphere is nice and it is usually busy and the people are great. so all in all great place but if your looking for true authentic mexican food you might be disappointed. Absolutely delicious burritos! I've been going here for years and it's just solid, consistent tasty experience every time. There is something about the sauce and ingredients they use that just puts me in a zone when I'm chowing through a burrito. I came up with a new technique last time I was in there to cut the burrito in half so I can stop myself when eating it and save the other half for later. I'm glad they've added different locations over the years.
