The long line attracted my attention. I figured this place must be good if it has the longest line of people in this terminal! PROS: You want something quick at the airport. Between layovers and trying to grab something fast to bring onto the plane, sometimes you just go with convenience. It's also great that your order is made in front of you as you move down the line. Most importantly, the food is good and the steak burrito i had was enough to keep me full through my long cross country flight. CONS: I had a mildly awkward ordering transaction but i'll dismiss it. They were moving a bit too fast for my taste. I didn't get to say i wanted corn in my burrito before they promptly wrapped it up. Not a big deal but i'd like to be able to get my order straight before they push me off to the cash register and move on to the next person. That tortilla didn't look like it was wrapped too tightly (eek). The sour cream ended up dripping out of my burrito about while i was mid way. Woah! Sorry. Tasty, but, Chipotle all the way. read more

The food is pretty good, but if you were to compare it to Chipotle, which I think is what they're going for, you may not be completely satisfied. I've had a few items from here and most recently ordered the quinoa salad which was pretty tasty. I really like that they are using this not too common of a food in their menu. The guacamole is made fresh in house but my serving was near the bottom of the container-starting to turn brown. I would definitely eat here over many of the other choices in the food court and will give them another chance in the future. -Update- added a star for breakfast and another salad that was great read more

Good breakfast burrito! I always get the ham and egg with salsa and cheese. Their burrito is big for a breakfast. Just a little tricky to eat with salsa. Service is very fast and generally less of wait compared to other places nearby. read more

5 stars all the way. Great food, reasonable prices. I was weary because I come from "burrito land" (San Jose, CA) and I figured anything in an airport, let alone Chicago airport, would disappoint when compared to home. Not necessarily so. I was pleasantly surprised with my burrito.. Good amount of fillings and meat, very flavorful, and reasonably priced. Staff was also very friendly and gave me a side of rice and chicken to feed to my daughter. They were also very friendly, which is kind of rare at airports. Thanks!! read more

While dining at airport food courts is rarely a pleasant experience it's sometimes a necessary evil. The one-two punch of food that's often lousy and overpriced violates my sensibilities, but having no choice I looked around the terminal three h/k offerings and figured this outpost of chain Mexican was my least offensive option as far as price and recognizable ingredients. The option of grass fed beef won my skeptical wife over as well. The fact that the prices were a bit below the usual airport highway robbery sealed the deal. A $7 burrito of grass fed beef proved to be an excellent choice: better than most chain Mexican I've experienced. Dare I say it was actually good? The team behind the counter were efficient, but still friendly. The portion size was enough for a dinner. The odd synthetic taste common in most fast food (especially at airport food courts) was absent. Bottom line: I got a completely good meal from a chain Mexican joint in an airport for $7. Something that actually looked and tasted like food, instead of merely resembling it. Eating it was a pleasure, and there was none of that weird feeling that often follows the decision to substitute fast food for a meal. Go, Burrito Beach! read more

Let's get this straight before anything: If you are looking for a spot comparable to Chipotle, keep looking. Every ingredient in my bowl was medium-low grade. I even had to add salt! The lettuce was not crispy and fresh. The salsas lacked any sort of distinctive flavors. The rice was nothing compared to the cilantro-lime rice at Chipotle (again, check your expectations). The chips are very thick, which may be your thing, but it's not mine. The only reason I chose Burrito Beach over Tortas Frontera (right outside of the food court) is because I wanted to saw a buck. For $9.25, I am regretting my decision a bit. You do get a good amount of food (I had the grilled chicken salad bowl) for your money, however. Not a terrible lunch, but next time I will head next door. read more

Recommend: Miguel's Breakfast Burrito Egg and Veggies Burrito The burritos are delicious and the service is extremely fast. While the burrito was a little smaller than what I've gotten elsewhere, I gotta say the pricing was very fair. If you are jetting through the airport, I'd recommend Burrito Beach! read more

Great friendly service. Super Fast fresh Good hot food. It is a great place to stop and eat if you are stuck in the airport. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl. It was great. read more

I'm going to compare this place to Chipotle because, let's face it, it's a wanna be. And it fails miserably. 1) I was not allowed to sub veggies for rice and beans. Well, I was, but for an extra charge. 2) The chips are terrible. Flimsy, not very fresh, and a very small quantity for the price. 3) Guac was just so-so. 4) Burrito was so-so. 5) The kid behind the counter had a major attitude problem. Stay away! read more

Quick, decent and cheap. And being that it's inside of O'hare, this place is awesome. $4-$5 breakfast burritos that are made fresh in front of you, Chipotle style, you cannot beat it. read more

I was hoping long line would be a good indicator, but I was not impressed. Guy taking my order/starting my burrito was sloppy and didn't seem to even know the menu. Burrito was ridiculously small for over $8, and caused gastric pain before I was even half way through it. Chipotle puts these guys to shame. Skip it! Update: FWIW, I was quickly contacted by the owner, who apologized for my experience and tried to make amends. Hopefully his efforts are also directed at staff. read more

Best value in the airport, and honestly tastes pretty good. Opted for the Baja chicken burrito, comes with: your choice of spinach, white flour, or whole wheat tortilla Red or white rice Lettuce Cheese Sour cream Salsa choices Corn Onion Guac (extra but you already know that) I'd say flavor was solid. I'm a huge chipotle fan and although I prefer chipotle, I'd give this place a try from time to time. And versus other options in the airport, it's an easy choice for me next time. Burrito comes out to $7, usually a price foreign in airport food choices. They have a huge variety of options too, so I'd give it another try for a bowl or quesadilla next time. Points off for the chips. Basically plain Doritos with salt. Never again. read more

The food was pretty good. I had a good encounter with the staff, too. I appreciate that they have vegan and keto options!

Glad I went with this place for dinner! Out of all the different fast casual options at the airport, this place was a great healthier option. Food was not too salty either. I opted for one of the burrito bowls and added guac. Even if it costs extra, guac is always a solid choice. Would recommend! read more

I was looking for a quick, fresh and light bite before my long flight. The salad I got was perfect! Good selection and fresh ingredients.

Passing through the airport I grabbed a ham and egg breakfast burrito. Added salsa, cheese, beans for 39 cents extra, and rice. It was really good! read more

weird and delicious! I had a black bean burger with goat cheese. I'd never heard of or considered such a combination, but it was amazing. it was also enormous! I ate the entire thing and then felt hugely overfilled. Made for a nice nap on the plane though. Good stuff! read more

Probably the best breakfast item in the Terminal 3 boarding area food court: Miguel's breakfast burrito. Yyou have to give the thing about 10 minutes to go from lava hot to barely eatable, but it is a not-too-large portion of drool inducing cheese, bacon, eggs, and a nice soft floury tortilla, just a little spicy. It doesn't give me bloating gas and nausea all morning which is rare for a breakfast burrito read more

For food court Mexican food in an airport Burrito Beach really isn't that bad. Mission style (a.k.a. Chipotle) service is quick and fairly efficient, although the guy behind the counter had as much personality as the black beans. I took my burrito on board and opened it at 31,000 feet...the people sitting next to me were noticeably jealous! read more

Like Chipotle, Free Birds, and mo's Burritos but with less flavor. They do have light menu items and vegetarian options. I had the black bean and goat cheese burrito which sounded like it would be full of flavor but really lacked any at all. The portions are large and service is quick. The line moves fast. They have pepsi products and dr pepper (including diet dr pepper).price is low considering the amount of food just make sure you get salt or bring along some spices from home to add flavor. read more

For around six bucks I got a huge veggie breakfast burrito. It was more than enough food. The staff is very efficient. I would eat here again! read more

Good burritos and good portions. Prices are fair as well. Love the Miguel's breakfast burrito and the Baja chicken

No Chipotle, but okay if you're needing a quick bit. I probably won't go back it is just ok.

You can get a basic bean & rice burrito for a pretty decent price here. This place is usually short in terms of wait time and always delivers on quality of food. I like it so much that I ate a burrito here at 10:30 in the morning. No, I did not feel ashamed. I am a man who wants a delicious meal of food, a whole meal of food sometimes. Here, at Burrito Beach, all of your wildest fantasies become reality. God Bless America. read more

Tasty burritos that stay warm until the wheels go up on the plane. decent guacamole & chips too. But the biggest benefit is B-Smooth next door, which they also own. Delicious smoothies to put some health in my mouth while I'm loving those chips. read more

They are huge and two meals unless your starving.. Buffalo chicken is really good..

The food was okay, but I think this restaurant is a tad overpriced - upcharged me to add a spoonful of corn on veggie salad... total bill for 1 person (salad/chips/water) - $14.00. I get the same thing at Chipotle for approx. $9. Service was not terrible or great. Owner contacted me about my original bad review and wanted to rectify situation which I really appreciated! I will give this place another try next time I'm at O'Hare. read more

Why the hell would you eat this garbage? It's like walking into a food pantry, or a smorgasbord. Everything is sitting under steamed heat- like Shitpotle. It has no resemblance to mexican food, or to an actual burrito. WHO THE HELL STEAMS A TORTILLA!!! I gotta stop writing before I have a heart attack! Cross the terminal and go to Frontera. read more

The food is great but the employees aren't friendly. No smile and everyone just trying to get u out of there. It's impossible to communicate with them cos they already have an answer for u. Bad customer service. I received a voucher from the manager to apologize for the bad service. I appreciate they feedback to my review and also the vouchers. The organization definitely cares how the customer feels and appreciate us. read more

Try the Lo Carburito Box while you wait for your flight. That's what I did, knowing that eventually American Airlines would feed me stodgy food en route to Dublin. Nothing terribly exciting about the place, but the service was friendly and fast and the food was actually quite tasty. The guacamole, thick and yummy. The chicken. Fresh. Salsa. Spicy. If I had a really long stopover, I would definitely stay and try something with more carbs. read more

I always eat here when I have a connecting fight at O'Hare. They offer lo-carb options for breakfast, lunch & dinner! It's fast and the food is pretty decent! It's my go-to place at O'Hare when I'm not travelling with my husband. Otherwise, Is be at the Admirals Club! read more

Burrito Beach was like a beacon of light in the darkness of my experience at O'Hare (TSA agents barking orders at passengers, crowdedness, run of the mill airport activities etc.). I came upon Burrito Beach and was greeted with top notch customer service from its employees. They were working quickly in a cramped space, but had smiles on their faces and were treating their customers as humans. The food was quick, delicious, and very reasonably priced. I will be making a stop here if I ever find myself at O'Hare again! read more

Had a little bit of a fuss with the employees but overall it was good food and got me fueled up for my flight back home. Great choice here at the airport! Greg, the owner, is a great man. Really cares about his business and I respect that so much. read more

Celiacs heaven!!!!! This was our first time traveling with our son who has celiacs and we were worried about his food options in the airport. Burrito beach had more gluten free options than non gluten free! The people behind the counter washed their hands and used new utensils without me asking. Everyone on the line was aware his entree was celiacs. We find very few places that truly understand what celiacs is and requires for food prep to avoid cross contamination. This place took all our worries away. AND the food is delicious! Highly recommend. read more

One of the BEST places to eat in the Airport! Everytime I'm flying out of O'hare I make it my business to eat at Burrito Beach! I appreciate their variety of choices, so if you're looking for a good healthy dish or just good food period this is where you need to come. Not only is the food good but, the staff is always warm and welcoming, and now a days finding good customer service is a stretch. Burrito Beach is always consistent with good service no matter who's there and what time of the day it is. I'm huge on receiving the whole package when I'm dinning and this place has it! read more

I only had a few minutes between flights, and Burrito Beach had a super long line. Confident that they would serve me quickly, I got behind 30+ other people and waited. They were incredibly efficient, and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes with a delicious grilled spicy chicken quesadilla. With salsa and sour cream on the side. At a reasonable price! I wish that the fillings (chicken & jalapeños) were spread more evenly toward the edges, instead of being piled in the center, but some creative folding made each bite superb. It's no wonder that more than half of the line was flight crews. Add me to the long list of repeat customers! read more

The food was superb. I ordered a steak quesadilla and it was awesome. The manager was responsive. Looked like she cared. The reason for my 4-star was the young man taking my order. He really looked like he didn't want to be there. The first impression I received from this place was this young man really not wanting to be there. Acting like I was a nuisance and inconvenience interrupting his way more important life. I went at 10 a.m. On July 9th. If management interested in knowing who this young man is. read more
