I had had a rough night traveling because is delays and such. I was famished when I reached Chicago and need something to eat. I am sooo thankful I chose Burrito Beach. I got the biggest, most delicious burrito I have EVER had. I wish this place was nation wide. For a place at the airport, it was worth every penny!! read more

Stopped by here while traveling through Chicago wanting a salad. This place looked good but after my experience I wasn't too impressed. When ordering a salad you get to pick your own toppings. The man who was making mine seemed very rude and annoyed at what he was doing. Asked him something and looks at me like I was bothering him. When picking out your toppings he barely puts a pinch of ingredients on the salad. I got chicken added and it was two small strips. This place is quite the joke. The salad was small, the staff is rude and most of their "homemade" dressing is out of a processed rub. Save your money and try another spot! read more

I have been coming here for years, every time I come through ORD, and I always enjoy the food. Like every other burrito place, you can get bowls, quesadillas, burritos, etc., but they have unique items like my favorite, the Buffalo chicken burrito. It obviously has a buffalo chicken-type sauce, which is spicy but not over the top, and I love it! I have gotten many other items here over the years and they are always good. The line is usually long, but it moves fast. read more

It's been a couple years since I ate here. My first experience was awful. Well, it has not gotten much better. Grilled chicken tacos should be renamed to grill flavored tacos because all you can taste is grill. And that is with salsa, guacamole & onions. M fault. I was stupid to try again. read more

AWESOME FOOD! I love Burrito Beach and was so excited to find out that O'hare had a location inside. I had to grab a steak burrito before my flight, yum! Great, quality food. definitely a must before a long flight :) read more

At the airport during CORVID. I have to fly home. Stopped here for some healthy mexican food and was not disappointed. I ordered a chicken quesadilla to go. Made with a fresh flour tortilla and char grilled asada chicken ...all Natural. It comes with salsa and I ordered a side of guacamole for a $1.79. Crisp, fresh and tasty just enough to eat before you get on your flight. Salsa has kick but not too overpowering and guacamole was on point (traditional)Total cost under $12 without a drink, not too bad considering the type of food that you're getting... it's healthy! They have a breakfast menu you can grilled potatoes bacon egg or chorizo burritos ptions. Order a side of chips and salsa or guacamole they can go Vegan with Quinoa salads veggie burritos or guacamole tacos. 5 filler options: Asada Chicken,Baja chicken.Buffalo Chicken. Sirloin steak,Cabo shrimp and grass fed brisket $8.69. 4 choices: Burrito,2 Tacos,Bowl or quesadilla. Ask for Gluten free. read more

To begin with (literally), the lines are very long. However, due to the efficient and organized team, the line diminishes quickly. They have nearly identical menu options as Chip***le, and it's to the point. This also helps with the efficiency, considering there are only 3 options to order from. I recommend figuring out which of the 3 options you want whilst you wait in line cause it's pretty annoying when people drag at the counter. Anyways, food is great. A little salty but great. If food was all I was critiquing I would give it 5 stars. However, I don't appreciate how they hide spoons from you, until you specifically ask them for it. Employees also beware, there are no discounts for you. read more

Nestled amongst a bunch of meh, Burrito Beach was an awesome surprise at Ohare. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito and my wife and so had the chicken quesadilla. She raved about it, he (16mo) scarfed it. Mine was one of the top 5 breakfast burritos I've ever had. There was a sweetness that came from somewhere in the salsa or chorizo that was so tasty. I wish I had one of these close by, I'd stop frequently. All that and it was one of the cheapest meals I've eaten in an airport. read more

Breakfast burrito was horrible. Don t get the Miguel burrito. No flavor, ketchup sauce had no flavor and liquid eggs were bland. And don't bother asking for extra cheese. Not allowed. My mistake. read more

Eh. Super boring Mexican food with no spice level and basic ingredients. $8.95 for a chicken and cheese quesadilla - no more ingredients - so it tasted like something I made in my dorm room in the 90's. Not to mention, the most miserable individuals work here. Never again. read more

food was hot and awesome breakfast burrito so good!! The service was the best great people..

Gluten free protocol is top notch. I had a rice bowl and it tasted good and sat well. Great experience, especially for an airport.

This was my first time at burrito beach and I'm definitely skipping this place in the future if I have other options or going vegetarian with the beans and grilled veggies. Do not get the Barbacoa beef brisket burrito! I made that mistake and found myself biting into globs of beef fat with a few strands of lean meat here and there. It was so gross, and I could not get that stuff out of my mouth fast enough. I did not pay $10 for a burrito to be getting meat that should have been trashed. I found the guacamole to be mediocre as well, tasting quite bland. There was no way I could finish my food with everything swimming in fat, and it basically ruined the rice and beans too. read more

It seems to have healthy options, vegetarian and vegan options, but its simply not worth it. If you are in chicago ohare airport for a layover and need a good meal this is not the place. No flavor whatsoever. Very bland. Will leave you unsatisfied. read more

Here early in the morning, was very happy with our breakfast burritos. You watch them cook the eggs and build the burrito. The price can't be beat for the airport too. Great coffee too, $2 for inteligencia. read more

Yummy fast food! Love their healthy optioms! Got the skinny combo and it was good. I didn't feel like a heffer after eating lunch. Their guacamole has a nice kick! Vegan chili also had a kick to it. Got all the fixings for chicken taco with habernero sauce - woo! Nice and spicy! I like this place more than Chipotle. Has much more flavor! read more

Located inside a food court in ORD Terminal 3. Got the buffalo chicken burrito bowl for dinner before my flight to LAX. Food seemed relatively healthy, but coming from California it was nowhere near the amazing burrito bowls you get here. read more

I was fortunate to have a decent vegan food option at the airport food court (Terminal 3). I got a burrito bowl with grilled vegetables, beans, rice, salsa, and grilled corn. I wanted to get guacamole but the people working the station were sloppy and had cheese shreds mixed in with the guacamole. I also got a bag of chips with salsa. The ingredients were fresh and tasted good. The tortilla chips were pretty good; crispy, not too oily. If only they were more careful about not contaminating their food containers... read more

I mean burrito is okay I would say kinda little but considering food at airports is usually bad I will take it as it is just fast food at an airport. Staff sometimes is kinda rude or they don't smile at all I'm not sure if that is their personality I'm still debating that anytime I eat at this place :) I will suggest them to be a little more friendly! read more

Yes, I'm reviewing a chain fast food place. Yes, I'm giving it five stars. Yes, I see that condescending look you're giving me. No, I do not care. Yes, it is the tastiest place to eat in terminal two that I've found. Yes, vegi quesadilla + chips + guac rocks my world nearly every time I fly through ORD No, I will not share. read more

Pros: Large portions, lots of options to add-on, vegetarian/low carb options for those seeking it. Friendly staff. Cons: The meat I chose (baja chicken) was WAY TOO salty...4 hours later, I am still chugging water to wash out the taste. The chicken was almost inedible because it was so over-flavored. yuck. This place unfortunately did not live up to expectations especially from what I read from previous reviewers! Oh well, at least the Tortas are nearby because that is definitely what I'll be sticking to next time! read more

This is the first time I have ever given an airport eatery 4 stars. I always said I'd max out at 3 stars for airport food since none of it is good. But, I have found a new favorite at O'Hare: Burrito Beach is really damn good! Located in the food court between Terminals H and K, and just down the way from the best part of O'Hare: Bubbles Wine Bar and Vosges Chocolate shop. Anyhow, I digress. I got the Veggie quesadilla. It was a thick, tasty quesadilla! Huge chucks of zucchini, lots of gooey cheese, plenty of salsa. And it was cheap--which is rare for airports. I got a side of Guacamole--for only 99 cents extra. And it was the only eatery at the food court with a line. Definitely worth waiting for. I will eat here every time I pass through O'Hare from now on. read more

This place is very similar to Chipotle; choose a protein, how you want it, your choice of rice and other toppings, and guac is extra. The one plus was the prices were fairly reasonable (though still higher than a regular Chipotle, but definitely cheaper than other airport food choices). We both had the steak bowl and while the steak had great flavor, everything else was pretty average. The steak itself was a sopping mess and splashed all over my girlfriends pants while we were trying to eat it waiting for our plane to arrive. Next time we will probably try a different meat as this is probably one of the better options at O'hare. read more

It's burritos and it's inside O'Hare. Friendly staff and the long line moves quickly. Nothing memorable about the food but it's fine. Think Moe's or Qdoba or Chipotle. It's about the same.... read more

We don't normally eat Mexican when we travel since we live in San Diego, but Burrito Beach at O'Hare (Terminal 3 between concourses H and K behind security) was recommended to us for airport food (actually for their salads to go). Like Chipotle, they build your burrito or taco to custom order, and use some nice meats. Unlike Chipotle, which focuses strictly on Mexican food, Burrito Beach has a few other options for their burritos - I got a barbecue chicken burrito, which was quite tasty, with beans, rice, cheese, salsa, and lettuce. My wife wanted to try their beef brisket taco, but they were momentarily out of brisket, and wouldn't have any for another 20 minutes, so she got some type of chicken instead. Service was pleasant and helpful, and while their burrito was not up to Chipotle size, it was tasty and sated my hunger before our flight. Salads and burritos are reasonably priced for airport food, while drinks are a bit inflated - $2 for a bottle of water. And apparently their salads to go are great for taking on airplanes - made to order, rather than sitting in a cooler like the O'Briens a few stalls down. Dining is shared in the common food court area. read more

Easy grab for a quick salad between flights but the staff is rude. I was questioned if I paid for quinoa and when I told her I had, she let me know it wasn't on the bag. I had to tell her to ask the cashier and it was determined I did pay for it. I don't understand people that work around people when they clearly don't like them. Update - the food was great! Chicken was very tasty as well as the homemade honey mustard dressing. read more

It is an airport eatery so it gets a little higher grade since the average competitor is so much worse. I went with the baja chicken burrito. It is similar to many of the americanized burrito chains. But in the airport your options are a bit more limited. it was made fast and well as ordered. No soggy tortilla, good chicken that was moist. Overall pretty well made and quick. Also easy to eat on the run or while sitting at your terminal waiting for boarding. Much better than some of the usual burger or refrigerated sandwich options. read more

I had a burrito from here while waiting to board my flight to Philly on the 7th. My burrito was tasty, but it ended up making a huge mess. I had to go back and grab a fork. Next time maybe I should order the salsa on the side. This place and Chipotle are pretty similar, but my experiences at Chipotle in the past have been better. The service could have been a bit better. The workers seemed to be completely unmotivated. They didn't seem to be interested in doing anything in a hurry. My burrito was made how I asked though, so I can't complain. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. I wouldn't search this place out if I was hungry, but it fit the bill for what I wanted at the time with limited options. read more

Of all the actual food options at the H/K food court (I'm not counting Dunkin' Donuts), I would pick Burrito Beach to win the "Best Bang for your Buck" award. I usually get myself a carnitas burrito bowl (no tortilla, filling in a bowl) which is in the $7 range. The carintas is actually decent and with flavor... the first time I'd half expected it to be taste like cardboard (this is the airport after all), but I was pleasantly surprised by how good and filling it was. Unfortunately, the rice is bland. At least the service is lightning fast. When you don't want to pay $10+ for a cold salad, eat unhealthy McD's or mediocre Chinese, or get fat on donuts, this is the place to go. read more

I just ate here and I always do when I pass through O'Hare. Enjoyed...the cute staff flirt with me. I love breakfast burriots and they have cheap basic egg, cheese and salsa ones that hit the spot. Also, inexpensive and they have a frequent eater punch card. I'm half way there. Good guac too. Disliked...nothing, but it is not gourmet by any means, just basic airport grub. read more

While being at the Chicago airport, I needed food. I looked around at different places and settled on this one. I got the grilled chicken bowl and chips and salsa. For the price, you get quite a bit of food. Probably more than other places in the airport. The chips were ok, nothing fancy. Being gluten free, it really limits my options. Overall, I'd eat here again. read more

Grabbed a breakfast burrito on my way to my flight this morning. I'd never been to burrito beach but figured I'd give it a try since I'm a frequent flier and have walked past it several times. When I asked what "extra" options were free the staff made fun of me (despite me later finding out that many of them were) and didn't answer the question. Additionally, I paid an extra dollar to get their "Miguel" burrito, which is supposed to come with potatoes. They literally gave me 2 little potato slices for the extra buck. Not worth the money. read more

It fed me. As a vegan, travel can be difficult. Even though O'Hare is huge, that doesn't seem to matter foodwise. I got the roasted vegetable burrito with no cheese. What can I say, it fed me. But it was just mediocre. I guess on the positive side, I did find something edible. read more

This is a sad Chipotle-style knockoff that charges too much for o.k. quality. The only reason anyone would eat here is because it's in an airport and it's basically a dice-roll about how good the food will be in relation to the inflated airport prices. Adding vegetables to a bowl that only has meat, rice, and beans costs extra, while other places include it. The food tastes fine, which is the only decent part about it. read more

Stopped by at terminal 3. The food was good. Got a salad bowl. The mild chicken was flavorful and the salsa was delicious. Two stars docked for the abysmal service. The server saw me standing there for over five minutes before he even acknowledged me. Then he asked for a minute and took five; filling up half full bowls. The lady at the check out was rude too. When I asked her for extra paper towels (none were in sight ) she told me there's one in the bag! Leaves much to be desired! read more

I'm traveling from LA to Detroit and had a flight delay, I figured I'll try a Chicago burrito. WOW!! This place missed Mexican food by 15000 miles, I could find better Mexican food in in Kotlik Alaska under an igloo.. Obviously the person that opened this restaurant has never actually eaten real Mexican food, I wouldn't be surprised if this persons spouse gets a divorce over this poor excuse for south of the boarder cuisine. #liveandlearn don't try random burritos in faraway lands. #teamburrito read more

It is slim pickings at this food court, I think the other options are McDs and Manchu Wok. The burrito was spicier than I expected but pretty good. read more

People compare this to chipotle but for a vegan, it's better! I had the veggie chili burrito plus guacamole. It was perfectly proportioned and had loads of real veggies! One of my pet leaves is when veggie just means no meat and no veggies are added (see for example: veggie lasagna). Great option in Terminal 3 food court. read more

Got chips and guac while waiting for my flight. The chips were stale and generic. No flavor. The guac was just bland...

Just got the low carb bowl plus veggies. The chicken is super flavorful and I like the spring mix salad. The only downside to this place is that charge so many extras for items other than guac. For instance, if you want rice with that salad: extra. Veggies: extra. Quinoa: extra. Basically anything that isn't listed in the entree description is gonna turn that basic sounding/tasting $9 bowl into a $13 bowl. read more
