Taco Tuesday....yes! $2.50 tacos. The host is super friendly and anxious to get us a bar order. They had lots of tempting specials. Complimentary chips and salsa came out quick. We ordered guacamole, which was fresh and creamy. The salsa is chunky with a great bite. To say our server, Carretero, was attentive is an understatement. She checked on us regularly. Super, friendly service. I ordered three chicken tacos on corn tortillas. The tacos came topped with cilantro and onions and two sauces on the side. The chicken was moist with great seasoning. The place is cute and small with typical carved colorful bench seating. Festive Mexican music plays loudly. The bar is small with a Margaritaville vibe. They have a drive through and nice big patio with covered tables. The parking lot has seen better days, but there's plenty of parking. Great pricing and service...I'll be back. read more

This is my first time eating there. I have seen people eat there quite often. I was curious how good it would be. I ordered their burrito bowl and a side of queso Blanco. We start off with a good queso. Blanca was excellent. The chips were amazing. It was quick now the downside. I got the burrito bowl with ground beef. There was a lot of water in it, which made me kind of sick to eat the ground beef with water in it. It was really a flavorless. The ground meat was awful. The meal was $22 maybe I should have ordered chicken. I'm not sure I've never been there but not a good first experience. read more

Decent spot for a quick meal. Different take on enchiladas suizas - cheese enchiladas topped with carnitas and salsa verde. Light on the carnitas, but had good flavor. Rice is awesome. Will definitely try some other stuff on the menu. read more

Delicious and filling food! I was in the mood for a burrito and looked up close spots near my job on the east side. The location was easy to find and there was a large parking lot. I noticed there was a drive thru but the sign said order at the window and I pulled up but nobody came. I decided to go in- the staff member was taking someone's order but helped me right after. They do have lunch specials but I went with the steak and cheese burrito. The food was very fast not but 5-10 minutes. The staff member also gave me menus since I mentioned I was ordering something for a coworker. She also told me you can call ahead and then pick up at the window. The only issue I have with this place is that I always order too much food. Tried for the first time last year and have been going there every some often. Rather you dine in or take it to go, the staff are alway kind and it's genuine. Tried the cheese fries with ground beef a while back and now it's a must order for my girl and I to share before we dig into our other food. The place is always clean, the food is fresh and hot even by the time I get home, and I never have to check my order before leaving because everything is always there. We have been wanting to try this place for awhile since it's newer - and I'm so glad we did! I placed an order through Yelp for pick-up and everything was correct and ready on time. I got the Enchiladas Rancheras and my husband got the Burrito Loco. Each came with rice and we got a bag of chips and salsa. Very impressed with the amount and quality of food! First visit. Very friendly staff, clean but small seating area with a bar. Interesting walk-up order window in addition to drive thru and seating inside. Bright tangerine building very visible from the street! I ordered two tacos; one carnitas and one steak. Loved the carnitas and both were very generously portioned! Hubby order Arroz con Pollo and it was generously portioned. He said it was "okay" thinking it was a bit bland but it was plentiful and hot and he said he would order it again but ask for the meat to be better seasoned. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Sometimes, depending on cook, it's better...or worse so a few more visits are in order to hit on the favorites. read more

I have been wondering what this place was like so we stopped in this evening. It's the start of my anniversary weekend and I wanted a good margarita.... And that is what I got! I ordered a mango margarita on the rocks. I normally don't do fruit flavors because they end up too sweet. That was not the case here.. it was just right, and tastes delicious. As far as the food, it was hot, fresh, and delicious. I had the Texas Fajitas and my husband had tacos, rice and beans. He had carnitas, steak and chicken. This place is everything you can want! It's lots of seating outside & booths inside. It smells sooooooo good when you step in the door. Just like you came home to dinner being made. It's very clean inside. They have coke drinks including Hi-C pink lemonade. The menu has everything you can possibly want! Burris carnitas asada chicken etc. they have a nice kids menu also. The churros are delicious & served with Hershey's syrup & you can get ice cream too. They also added California tacos to the menu and a few other menu items. I got my daughter the taco & burrito kids meal and she loved it. The meat tasted so good but for those who are not into spicier meats it's perfect for you! The tortillas & queso are Delicious! Hands down the best Mexican food I've had since moving from my native home state of California. And I got the food to go which usually hurts the quality of the food some, but not today! Wow the enchiladas were great and chicken was quality and cooked perfectly. Rice and beans were excellent! Chips and salsa were very good. My wife got a steak fajita quesadilla that came with two big halves She said the steak was tender and she thought the cheese was really good too.
