    Burrito Supreme (BS)
    Bailey D.

This is one of my brother's go-to breakfast spots in Tempe, and I'm so glad we got to check out their new location during a recent visit to AZ! They moved just five minutes away from their last location, but it seems like a serious upgrade for the staff and the customers alike. I love that they offer their full menu right when they open - my husband and brother ordered breakfast burritos while I went right for the Burrito Supreme with chicken. Everything was tasty - I especially loved the salsa options. The tortillas may be the best part about these burritos - you can tell they're freshly made every day. The prices are also very fair, making this a quick and easy stop for a filling meal.

    Bacon breakfast burrito, my fav.

Breakfast bacon burrito is my go-to. Excellent portion size and ratio of ingredients. Perfectly salty and tasty. Salsas r divine. There's a reason all the Mexican construction guys frequent this bad ass place.

My company catered in some breakfast burritos and mines was really good. The tortilla had just enough chew and I could tell it was made fresh. I had a chorizo and potato burrito with no eggs. I know, criminal. However, I dislike eggs very much. The chorizo was really well seasoned and I appreciated the potatoes being crispy and fried. The only thing that lacked was, the burrito needed some type of moisture because it was very dry. All in all, I'd come in on my own!

Lately my favorite breakfast burrito spot has been disappointing me so I thought I'd revisit Burrito Express. Also helps that they send flyers in the mail with a "Buy 2 get 1 free" coupon. For ~$13 we got 3 burritos! And these burritos are THICC! The red salsa is also good; a hint spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Definitely got my nose running. Does Burrito Express surpass my favorite breakfast burrito spot? No but for the price/size, you really can't beat it. Red Chili & Eggs Burrito, $6.25: This burrito does include shredded beef, albeit not very much. The pieces of beef were not distributed evenly throughout the burrito; they all sunk to the bottom. Overall more egg than anything else; probably 80/20 egg/beef. Red chili was not spicy. Not my favorite burrito. Chorizo & Egg Burrito, $5.80, add potatoes, .50= $6.30: The addition of potatoes is a NECESSITY! The potatoes were nicely fried; think fiesta potatoes from Taco Bell. I've never had not red chorizo before; this chorizo was brown. Chorizo was more like regular sausage and lacking the chorizo seasoning. Will not be replacing my favorite chorizo breakfast burrito. FREE: Breakfast Supreme ($6.60): This is the breakfast burrito I would recommend. Bacon, egg, cubed ham, potato, and cheese. Good balance/ratio of meats/egg & potato. Although the bacon was thrown in as whole slices rather than diced. Best of the bunch for sure!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I was looking for a good breakfast burrito and this was it! It is fresh and you see them make it! The salsa could be better, but it doesn't disappoint. The restaurant itself is not very big but it gets the job done! Will forever keep coming here! The breakfast supreme burrito will forever have a special place in my heart!

Don't go here if you have kids or want to enjoy a good burrito. Owner, employees are foul mouthed and the burritos aren't even good.

Sometimes the best meals happen because your original plan falls through. That was exactly the case…read morehere, and honestly... I'm not even a little mad about it. I ordered the veggie tacos with roasted sweet potatoes (skin on, which was absolutely the right call), pepitas, feta, and all the right toppings. Whoever prepped those sweet potatoes deserves a raise because they were cut into the perfect sized pieces. Every bite had a little sweetness, a little crunch, a little saltiness... it just worked. My dining partner ordered the barbacoa tacos, and I didn't even have to ask if they were good. The involuntary "Mmm..." after the first bite answered that question. Four tacos disappeared in record time, followed by, "I could've eaten two more." That's about as glowing of a review as you're going to get. Now let's talk about these tortillas. Handmade. Corn. Tortillas. Are you kidding me? They're the kind of tortillas that had me question every tortilla I've ever eaten. Soft, fresh, and somehow they manage to steal the spotlight even with everything else on the plate being so good. The chips and guacamole were excellent, too. The chips have to be made in-house and they disappeared at an alarming rate. The salsa that came with them had this smoky, fire-roasted, chipotle flavor that kept me reaching for another chip... and then another... and then suddenly I realized I'd eaten way more chips than I intended. The bottled table salsas deserve their own paragraph because they completely confused me... in the best way. They bring three to the table... a green, a red, and a darker red. I kept tasting them individually thinking, "Okay, these are alright." Then I started mixing them. Game over. On their own, each one was solid. Mixed together? That was the magic. I don't know if that's what they intended or if I accidentally stumbled onto the perfect combination, but from that point on, every taco got the salsa trio treatment. The only tiny hiccup was when we first walked in. We were greeted, asked if we wanted menus, and sat ourselves. We waited for a bit thinking someone would come take our order, only to realize it's actually counter service. Once we figured that out, everything was smooth sailing. Not a big deal at all... just something first-time visitors might want to know. Follow the sign "order here" I also loved the layout. You can actually watch them making the food, which somehow makes the wait even harder because everything smells incredible. Two tacos ended up being the perfect light meal for me. Could I have eaten ten? Absolutely. Those two statements can both be true. Meanwhile, my dining partner polished off four barbacoa tacos and was talking about ordering two more. We only ended up here because another place happened to be closed, and honestly, I'm glad it worked out that way. This ended up being one of those meals we keep talked about on the drive home. Oh and the bathrooms?. I walked in and immediately thought, "Whoa... this is a cool bathroom" The lighting had this pinkish-purple glow that made me feel like I'd accidentally wandered into a trendy lounge instead of a taco shop. I honestly wasn't even sure there was regular lighting in there and I didn't look... because the vibe seemed so intentional. Finally, the music. .. upbeat, dance-worthy, the kind that had me bouncing in my seat while waiting for my food. Between the atmosphere, the lighting, and the music, the whole place had me want to hang out a little longer. Zero regrets. I'll absolutely be back... and next time I'm ordering more tacos.

He was incredibly kind and attentive, especially with my friend who is deaf, making sure we always had water, napkins, and plenty of chips. The margarita flight is always a must for me, so I had to order one for my friend since it was her first visit. I told her that even though neither of us are into spicy margaritas, I knew she'd love it and I was right! Every margarita was delicious. I also ordered the lavender lemonade, which was refreshing and just as good. Ghost Ranch never seems to miss when it comes to drinks. Potato tacos! Another must have My friend ordered the Aztec Cake and insisted I'd regret not getting it. She was absolutely right. It was bomb and Torrance offered us a side of chips .TY. I ordered the short rib. It was flavorful, tender, and filling, with lots of garlic and savory flavor. I'm not sure if short rib is just not my thing, but it didn't wow me the way the Aztec Cake did. I warmed it up later and it was delicious a second time so no complaints. Excellent service, delicious drinks, and a fun way to spend the Fourth. We'll definitely be back!

Been waiting to check this place out for Happy Hour and finally got around to it with friends. Happy Hour is daily with $3 off all appetizers (not just selected as the menu says) in addition to drink specials. We ordered a few apps to share and had: - Chips with Guacamole and Salsa: solid - Queso Fundido: I was excited for this as friends have said they liked it, but the cheese harden within minutes and it wasn't as nice - Street Style Esquites: I was expecting more corn rather than mixed in another cheese dip and likewise, the cheese harden quickly. - Shrimp cocktail: it was pretty heavy on the liquid rather than thicken, but good - 3 potato tacos: okay, wasn't expected it to be fried so it was a bit greasy but loved the slaw it came with - Southwest egg roll: not bad, was a crowd's favorite and I liked the sauce it came with We didn't realize most of the apps came with tortilla chips otherwise we may have ordered differently. I got the frozen margarita and it was a bit sweet, but nice for the summer evening. Our server wasn't super attentive, but was nice whenever they came around. There's a sampler entree platter I'd like to try, but of all the appetizers we tried, the best was probably the chips with guacamole and salsa.

The spicy salsa is the opposite of the one you would think is spicy out of the two, so pay attention. Hubby got a combo with a tamale & ground beef burrito with rice & beans. He said everything was good. He also ordered a side of guacamole. I thought I got a picture of the guacamole & sour cream. It's crazy how much they charged for them. They were the small plast condiments containers, but they charged almost $5 for the guacamole. I don't remember the extra cost for the sour cream, but it too was way too high for the tiny size. I got a chicken chimichanga with grilled chicken instead of the shredded chicken which came with rice & beans. It was all good. Our server was friendly & did a good job. We loved the decor.
