Lemon Tree is my favorite place for breakfast or lunch in downtown Bend due to its focus on quality ingredients, and interesting, healthy menu items that are beautifully presented.

Set in an old home, this establishment has become one of Bend's favorite restaurants. The menus have range with breakfast by far being my favorite. However, their pizzas are spectacular and I've never had a pastry yet that I didn't really enjoy. They serve coffee from a local roaster called Lone Pine. The staff is always extremely friendly and I have frequently positive interactions with them when I stop by. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very high-quality while also being consistently fresh. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's always worth the effort. Not to mention a chance for a nice stroll around downtown Bend after my meal... just the perfect end to complement a perfect day here in this lovely place. Pretty much no flavor in the gravy so loaded up on the pepper and it was better. I've noticed in Bend the gravy is always served on top of mutant bread lumps known as biscuits instead of on the side. My omelet, the potatoes were very good- for the 1/4 of it I could eat. Lots of stuff jammed in there for sure! White toast and whatever jam they served was not good. Coffee was not good; weak. It is expensive, just like every other sit down breakfast place around here- $50 before tip. I'd say if you like to start your day in a less than serene way you might like this place.
