Normally you can't beat this place the food is good and fairly priced but today they ran out of beans but still charged full price for dinners. They also decided to charge .60 extra for sopes that on their menu, on line and on the printed menu cost 2.40 ea. When I questioned the discrepancy I was told that prices are subject to change without notice, deal with it. I've been coming here since they were located on Addison. Ordered from here today. They told me it would be done within 10-15 minutes. I gave them longer and came 30 minutes. I came in told them pick up and what I ordered. The woman in the front tells me no order for what I got was ever placed and acting like I'm stupid and must have ordered from somewhere else that I got the number wrong. This place should get at least 4.5 stars if not 5 based on the food alone. The only reason why I give 4 stars is because of one of their workers (not sure of his name). He is usually cooking on the flat top grill. Doesn't smile, gives you awkward stares, and then right after will speak in Spanish and crack jokes about you to his coworkers. Wanted to try this place ever since they opened awhile back and it's walking distance. The interior looks good, but the staff seemed cold. Not friendly at all. Ordered a steak burrito. The burrito was well prepared. I especially enjoyed the crispiness of the tortilla versus soggy. Came here late one night with the hubby and I ordered the baby carne asada burrito and he got the jumbo vegetarian burrito. Baby Carne asada burrito- amazing flavor, hardly put any extra hot sauce on it. There was plenty of meat. I ate the entire thing, next time I'll get the jumbo! This place is awesome. On a friends recommendation, we used them to cater an afternoon gathering yesterday for 45+ people. Everything was amazing. The initial contact, follow up, and preparation was perfect. Our friends raved about the chicken, steak, salsas and guacamole. As an uber driver looking for a decent place to grab a bite when it's late at night, I figured I would try Burrito House. I'm a huge burrito fan, but when it comes down to taste... I will be very critical. I've only tried 2 kinds of burritos here. First is the chicken burrito. It's delicious no doubt. You get what you asked for, but the taste I feel does not go above and beyond what you expect. It's just... a decent tasting burrito. The second one I've tried is the chicken fajita burrito. This one caught me off guard. It is fantastic! Very messy though... you probably won't be able to eat it as a burrito. Other than that it tastes awesome. Overall I give this 3 stars.. the service was fairly quick. The burritos are decent, the prices are decent. So I'll give it a decent rating. read more

We ordered GrubHub through this place at 12:30 a.m....so not a lot of orders you would think, right? Wrong. A delivery driver gave use the wrong food and we called the restaurant and they said they would work on our order and give us the right food. Fast forward to half an hour later and we call and Burrito House tells us our food has already been delivered. Are you kidding?! Do not order delivery from this place. My boyfriend is from the area and introduced me to this place. Now whenever we're in the area we use that as a good enough reason to eat there. Everything is so fresh and so authentic. Tried this place for the first time yesterday - good food! My boyfriend had the chimichanga and really liked it and I got nachos! The nachos were great - I'm picky and only like ground beef and shredded cheese and they were fine to make it as I requested. My only complaint was that my chips, cheese and ground beef were over $7.00, that seemed pretty expensive compared the the rest of the prices. I definitely would go back - a customer recommended the fajita burrito to us while we waited so I think I'll try that next time! read more
