Called Burtech to fix a clogged kitchen drain. The first technician came over promptly & professionally and fixed the clog for $140, but unfortunately left a small drip. There was no drip/leak prior to that work, only a clog. The second technician was committed to proving the residual leak was my fault and charged me $220 to fix a plate on the garbage disposal that was rusty. The leak never got fixed. The GM Bill then called me and offered to make it right and install a new disposal at no charge. The next technician fixed everything to working order.I really appreciated the call by Bill and concern for getting my issue resolved. Honestly the 5 star is 90% because of Bill's follow up concern so I wouldn't be left hanging. read more

Yes, I recommend Burtech. I used a coupon. Most of us would think that this is a "come-on" and that it's a "foot in the door" to do something for this amount and then upscale the repair into a large expensive project. This did not happen in my home. Jose was very nice, experienced, worked efficiently, and he finished my clogged drain issue in 25 minutes. He reamed 25 feet of drain, 2 times. That was it! His good work caused me to consider what else could be done here at home! This is a large company with over 100 employees and can take on all plumbing projects. Call them! read more

I have used Burtech a half dozen times or so for for many of our 30 rental units and homes. Never a problem, until they did not clear a drain properly. When I called them after the first time someone used the shower to advise that the drain did not clear, they advised there was NO WARRANTY on the coupon special. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME ANYONE HAD USED THE SHOWER SINCE THEY CLAIM TO HAVE OPENED THE DRAIN. Their special includes a free camera inspection if they cannot clear the drain. This is done with another appointment. So they will come out and look at the problem again in order for them to make more money, but if they do a bad job to begin with, there is NO WARRANTY and I'm stuck. They told me when they went back to the unit, I could get another NO WARRANTY clear for $59 or pay $95 and have it warrantied. So then to clear the drain it would be $154. No thanks...(You were already there, you just needed to run the snake for 5 minutes for a repeat customer!!) I am now looking for another company to do our drain clearing. During our discussion, their absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL service guy BURT, hung up on me. BURT is a terrible person, very rude and should be fired for hanging up on a customer. You don't want this guy in your house! Don't even talk to them about their regular plumbing rates as they are in my opinion VERY HIGH. Go somewhere else where they warranty their work (I went somewhere else and it is less expensive and they provide a full warranty. These folks at BURTECH are rude and pathetic as THEY DO NOT WARRANTY THEIR WORK on their "special". They don't state "no warranty" in their drain cleaning special ads as no one in their right mind would call them if they knew there is NO WARRANTY. This look to me to be classic bait and switch advertising. read more

Burtech relined my sewer line from the house all the way to the end over a year ago. Bill and crew are great, they educated me on the problems and potential disaster looming (pipe starting to collapse in the middle of the street). My street is notorious for sewer problems as everyone is at end of life for existing drains so I was able to compare what others had done. When Burtech was complete, which was rather quick, you couldn't tell work was done except for fresh paint from city marking underground utilities. They also stand behind their work. Then I called Burtech (whom I found a coupon for) and they came over and fixed the problem for a fraction of the cost. Bert was great. He guessed that my clogged toilet could have tree roots coming in at the flange. I had him go ahead and pull the toilet off and he was right. Then I remembered that we had a palm tree removed on that side of the house years ago. Guess the roots are still alive. He got the roots out with hands and a mechanical auger.
