This is the best Chinese food on this side of I-75! We ordered the hot and sour soup, crispy shrimp balls, onion pancake, soup dumplings Generals chicken, and chicken lomein. We ordered as much as possible off the menu with 7 of us and everyone loved literally every dish. We hurt ourselves going back for 3 and 4 rounds of some of the dim sum dishes. The bao are great! An absolute must try. Passed by on a Thursday and decided to give it a go, such a good choice. We were greeted right upon entry by the owner who was very welcoming and friendly. We sat down quickly and we're given a menu and waters and helped. The menu had so many good options. You just can't go wrong. We got the soup dumplings with crab, pan fried dumplings, shrimp ball, pan fried buns, har gow, udon noodles and XO beef noodles. Food came out quickly and everything was absolutely amazing. It's so hard to pick a favorite dumpling. All were juicy and cooked so well. The buns had a perfect crispy bottom. The noodles.... Man those noodles. The flavor from the wok came through and we polished the plate. Throughout the entire meal we were constantly checked on and helped. Overall such an amazing place, I will recommend it to absolutely anyone. read more

Loved this place so much! I've lived about a mile from here for 3 years and tired it for the first time 2 weeks ago. I wish I would've come sooner. Compared to some other dimsum places, you can guarantee that your food comes out hot and fresh everytime. However, aside from that, not many other pros. This place will cost you more in comparison to others. Doesn't have some of the traditional dishes like turnip cake, shrimp cheung fun, egg tarts, etc. overall less choices, most likely due to nature of having to make everything to order. Service was prompt, but this place is also not nearly as busy as other places. I would come here if you are craving shumai/dumplings during non traditional dimsum hours. read more

Husband and I had a nice dinner here before a show at the Improv comedy club tonight. Modern and fresh decor. Excellent service. Robot cart that delivers food was unique and fun. Loved the Kirin Ichiban beer on tap and the variety of dumplings was impressive. We tried soup dumplings and a few different types of pan fried. All were delicious, but the star of the meal was the chicken fried rice. Incredible flavor and beautiful presentation! We can't wait to return again for another enjoyable meal. read more

I order this place at least once a week. I've never been, I usually door dash it. They are no longer on doordash so I ordered ahead, and picked it up. The place was almost empty, there was a lady - very rude from the moment I walked in and a man standing behind the counter, staring and popping gum. No help, no acknowledgement. As I'm standing there waiting, for at least 10 mins, I witness the lady being rude to the two other tables that are sitting there. She is rude, abrupt and when she walks away the customers are clearly laughing to each other at her behavior. I finally get her to come give me the bill, I pay. Another 10 minutes of standing around... she approaches me and says I have to sign. I did, it's in front of her. Nope not good enough, sign again?! Um ok. Can I just have my food please, that I ordered ahead so I wouldn't be stuck sitting around forever, and yet, still standing around waiting forever. I finally leave, super frustrated and get back to my office on the other side of town and, they forgot half my order!! For the love of Dim Sum! I just wanted my lunch and now I went through all that and didn't even get the most important thing. I call, get the same lady, I ask for the manager, she says why. I tell her and she says, we're busy and the manager isn't here, call back later! I love this place, the food is great and I have told all my friends to go and have ordered it for them, but what the actual HELL!? read more

I live in LA and we have quite a few dumpling places, Din Tai Fung being the most notable. My family loves most of them, but Bushi Bushi has the best dumplings I've ever had anywhere, hands down. It's actually not even close. Not only is the variety better but every dumpling is made fresh to order. Most come in orders of 2, so you can try more varieties before filling up. We're overjoyed to have discovered this authentic dim sum restaurant! I arrived around 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The service is attentive, and there is no pressure. Mongolian beef, duck meat, shumai, soup dumplings, and xiao long bao are among our favorite dim sum dishes. It's a little pricey. I am not a huge fan of dim sum generally speaking, but I was very intrigued by the robot servers I read about in a recent review. When you are seated, they leave you with a pen and paper menu to mark up with all of the things you want. If you are not familiar with dim sum you might have to do a bit of googling and/or asking the wait staff what the items are filled with. We ended up ordering the pan fried udon (veggie, chicken, beef, and shrimp), egg rolls, pan fried buns, pan fried dumplings, har gar, soup dumplings, and crispy shrimp balls. When the food is ready, it comes out on a little robot server. Generally, the food was good; like I mentioned I am not exactly a huge dim sum fan, so I probably wouldn't be raving about most of the dishes. However, I do want to say that the pan fried udon was SO SO SO good. I am always skeptical of ordering chicken or beef at Asian restaurants, but they were excellent in this dish; the beef practically melted in my mouth, and the black pepper taste was prominent and really added to my enjoyment of the dish. The one true miss for us was the egg roll; it tasted like it had char siu in it which I don't like at all and it just had a strange flavor (probably because of the char siu!). One of the wait staff noticed that was the only thing we didn't finish and asked if anything was wrong with it, and I told him we just didn't like the meat. We never would have complained about it since we were really taste testing to see what we would like and what we wouldn't. When they brought the check, they had taken the price of the egg rolls off and the waiter said that next time we could try the spring rolls which don't have meat. I really was not expecting that, so I mostly wanted to leave this to review to show what excellent customer service that is. My one suggestion for them is that the wait staff should ask the customers if they know how the robot servers work. What I didn't know (and others as well evidently) is that they sometimes make multiple stops. One time I saw the robot go to a table and then come to ours, but the robot didn't have any food to deliver to us; it turned out the first table had taken all the food and didn't realize till later that it wasn't theirs. Anyways, all in all a good outing. I would definitely recommend for dim sum lovers, and I for sure want to get that pan fried udon again!!! Thanks for the outstanding customer service! read more

Even though it's in a mainstream restaurant area, food is authentic (chicken feet on the menu) and tastier than most Asian restaurants I have been to in Richardson, albeit a little more expensive. Phone app ordering lets you pace your meal, ordering a couple of dishes at a time to keep food fresh and hot. Everything we have tried is yummy. Have been about half a dozen times in the past 3 months. Have not had trouble getting seated, but a reservation is probably wise on peak weekend nights. read more

I've had my eye on this spot for some time as a weekday lunch (when I get to eat all the things my family won't) dim sum outing. For this visit, I had the good fortune to also introduce a co worker to his very first dim sum experience. In short, the food lived up. The only shortfall for me was the lack of a personal favorite, char siu bao, on the options. Otherwise, it filled a much needed void in my life! One word of expectations management. If you're going here outside of dim sum prime time (weekend brunch), please be realistic.... there can't possibly be carts with pre-made dim sum trolling around. The waste would be out of control.
