For 40 some years I went to Weaver off and on. My last experience was terrible. I went there 4 times trying to get my car fixed and finally gave up. They installed the wrong parts, parts I didn't need, one part was installed incorrectly, defective parts, some of the work made the problem worse. I got excuses including high mileage etc., and finally was told they didn't know what else they could do. I had thousands of dollars invested and didn't just want to throw it away. I took my car to another shop, which is how I learned it was entirely fixable, because when they took out all the work Weaver did and replaced the parts that were wrong and installed other parts I needed and when they finished, the car was perfect. I am more sorry than anybody that it didn't work out the first, second, third or fourth time going to Weaver because it cost me a lot of money. I know most people have had good results with Weaver. I did too for about 40 years, but I was told by a manager on my fourth visit, "I don't know what else we can do." read more

I used to take my car to Weaver, but their service is not like it used to be. I recently called and asked about having my car checked because of a noise that we knew was from the transmission. They kept my car overnight, just to tell me that they drove it and confirmed that the noise is from the transmission. But they don't specialize in transmissions, so I need to take it somewhere else. They charged me $70 just to tell me what I already told them, knowing that they couldn't fix the problem. Others have since shared similar experiences with them. The lack of integrity here is very disappointing, and I cannot recommend their service anymore. read more

Weaver Brake & Tire does a very high quality professional job, they do it quickly, and they don't charge an arm and a leg for services! No catches or gimmicks at checkout on fees and etcs. When in fact, they beat all the other guys in town. They did an accurate diagnostic on my Lincoln Town Car after an object in the road did severe damage in several places, including busted radiator and various suspension components. I brought my car into Weaver early Wednesday morning to get my free tire rotation. Tire rotations are free for the life of the tires if you purchased them from Weaver. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. It took about 15 minutes longer this time because after they rotated my tires and did their customary spin test, they discovered one of my wheels had some wobble, so I had it balanced for $18.50 (tax included). The ride is as smooth as ever and I have been very pleased with the tires they installed for me. Prompt and professional service as always. Dropped off truck for several problems (AC, brakes & alignment). Shop handled AC repair in a day & the brakes the next day, due to vehicle having nearly 200k miles on it the alignment needed a little heat to solve a rust issue. All in all a pleasant experience with fair prices on both the parts and labor. Norman & Sara (sp?) were both great to deal with. read more

Very rarely do I write reviews simply because I'm too lazy. But, I've had Weaver Tire & Brake work on my 2013 10th Anniversary Jeep Rubicon 4dr Unlimited, which happens to be my baby, for the first time back in the first part of November; all because I unfortunately succumbed to the infamous "Death Wobble". Yesterday was my follow up visit to fine tune everything, which I was able to verify by performing a test drive with the owner, Norman. I was really impressed! The opportunity to perform the test drive with the owner, let alone, be able to have a conversation as if I had known him for years, was very personable. My initial visit to have work done on my Jeep, impressed me as well. I worked with Chris Weaver, who himself, had a good amount of experience regarding Jeeps and the infamous "Death Wobble". He was great to work with and was very patient as well. And again, Norman performed a test drive and went over everything before I drove off their lot. In fact my Jeep seemed to handle and run better than it ever did. Another reason why I limit my trips to the dealer... Anybody can practically sell parts and perform qualified service, but it's the little things that count, including "going-the-extra-mile" that separates a standard shop or Dealership from a shop, such as Weaver Brake & Tire. With that being said, I had a great experience! And based on my experience, I now feel confident knowing that I finally found a shop for all of my future work. Upon a recommendation from Epic Automotive, I went to Weaver Brake and Tire to get a wheel alignment after several FAILED attempts at Sears Auto. I knew that I would pay a little more, but it was worth it to finally get an alignment done right. Their waiting area is small, but they have operations on both sides of the street. A very friendly woman in the front greeted me and got me all set up. She asked if I was waiting, but since I'm so close to work I just got an uber back. Chris promptly called me to let me know my back brakes needed some work and he even quoted me a decent rate to fix. Well you know you can't get everything done in one trip! Upon my return in the afternoon my car was ready to go as planned. I now have several trustworthy shops in Marietta that can work on imports. read more

I usually shop around to get the best price on tires and I did that at Weaver the first couple of times but now I just take my Jeep in and get a set of All Terain TAs put on. No need to look around for a better price installed. The closest I ever found was $30 bucks more than Weaver. The people are super nice. it feels like an old school garage where the folks are genuinely glad you chose them and they go WAY out of their way to make you happy. I had my tires rotated at another dealer and they put the lug nuts on so tight that AAA service could not get them off with an air wrench. I had it towed to Weaver and the had to destroy my rim to get the wheel off. They had another rim in the back that was a match and gave it to me no charge. That is what I call service. read more

i have been going here for 7+ years. the last few visits they guys in the shop just totally bs'ed me about what work needed to be done & what work was actually done. After paying $200+ on my bill, i still had $300 that i owed & i left there with my car still not working. it works now thanks to goodyear tire on powder springs rd. &&& my bill was reasonable. it sucks having to find a new mechanic, but trust me when i say, these are not the right guys. read more
