We left it overnight, went back to pick it up he was nowhere in sight. Although he knew that she was coming to pick her car up. No phone no text no email. Finally I texted him that I needed some work on my car and I was in the area and he picked up the phone. Now mind you he hadn't picked up the phone for my niece for the last at least hour. I handed her the phone his explanation was, that his phone had been broken he told me the screen was broken and he couldn't see who called was calling. When he finally arrived at the shop, I asked him what the problem was he said his phone had broken he showed me a phone that was off, but there was no broken screen. I asked him was he done as he had been supposedly working on the car since the day before. Usually replacing in power steering pump is a one to two hour job for a good mechanic he said he was bleeding the system I saw no hoses or anything anywhere the problem came when I requested the old part which we never got. Also we had to come back for the car which was supposedly bleeding. The next day while driving the vehicle it start to smoke and they were flames. We found out later the distributor was loose. Apparently someone had bumped the distributor and the carburetor, and that was leakage from the gas or other fluid flammable no less. I'll be very Leary of taking my vehicle to such a dismissive repair shop and I use the term loosely. The customer service is nonexistent. And after I asked about the part that he supposedly removed I was told GET THE F OUT REPEATEDLY. Needless to say there was a verbal altercation that almost got really bad. This man has no respect for his customers their autos do not leave your car in this man's care. Do not trust what he says is wrong with your car. According to the automobile bureau, a customer has the right to receive the removed part. We are taking our vehicle to the automotive repair bureau in rancho Cordova, to be inspected for proper repair. To be forewarned is to be armed.

I called Silva Motor Group around 3:30ish today and asked if they had time to change my oil today. Told me to come on by so I showed up a few minutes after 4pm. Had the oil changed and the keys back to me at 4:23pm. Not only was oil change super quick, the cost was super reasonable, and Chanel's customer service over the phone as well as in person was exceptional. Some places will really have you feeling like you're dealing with robots and the experience is really nothing special, but my experience here really stood out and I will be back here for sure the next time I need an oil change. UPDATE 4/9/26: I ended up going back to get the engine and inverter coolant flushed on my car and they really went above and beyond. I got the same lovely customer service, quick/reasonable turnaround time, and the tech even reattached a part of the skidplate that was hanging off the front of my car making it look janky lol. I…read moregot my 60k tune-up there and had two car batteries replaced (one was during Covid, so it was a small battery). They even fixed a plate that was rubbing against my brake liner. However, I brought my car in Wednesday to have them check the A/C (only due to Speedee not having an A/C mechanic). It was not always blowing cold when I switched the re-circulate button. They fixed it and added freon, but forgot to inform me that the coolant resevoir holder may be leaking/seeping, as it has coolant stuck to the outside (owner of Speedee pointed this out to me weeks ago). I could've gotten that fixed! Even though they quoted me over $650! So, I get my car (they had locked it up indoors even though it wasn't 5:30 yet) and it is filthy w/grease stains on my front sets and driver door! They obviously didn't use seat covers, paper for the floor boards or even shoe covers or gloves. Dang! Even Speedee uses seat covers and floor mat covers. I'll be looking for a new mechanic spot now. A family owned business that takes better care of their clients cars. I've NEVER received my vehicle back lke that before. Unacceptable!!!

When I scheduled my appointment online through their online scheduler, I selected 3 part Fuel Induction Service in addition to the maintenance required on my 2009 Honda Civic. However, they only changed the oil on my car and told me when I arrived to pick-up my car that I need to get my brake fluid cleaned/replaced, my air filter replaced, and to do a Diag on my Automatic Transmission. I wish they told me that information before I came back to pick-up my car and asked me if I would like to do it today just like Capitol Honda, down the street from them, does. Instead, they scheduled another appointment on my next day off to take care of the urgent issues on my car.
