But it got worse when we picked up. We paid $32 for a pizza and asked if we could sit inside to eat it and there were plenty of available tables. We were told no -- inside is table service only, and takeout means you take it and eat elsewhere. Fine, except there was nowhere to sit outside at the festival. When we asked about using one of their own outdoor tables (they had roughly 30, and it was 11:15am, 45 minutes before the festival even started, so the tables were empty), we were told those were reserved for table-service customers only. This was after we'd already spent $32 in their restaurant. Regina's has been around for 100 years, but somewhere along the way they stopped caring about basic hospitality. Paying customers with nowhere to eat their food shouldn't be treated as an inconvenience. We won't be back.

Our order was taken very quickly after sitting down. The menu is strictly pizza with around a dozen toppings to choose from and a handful of grilled meats. That's it. We ordered a pizza with garlic and hot peppers as well as a steak tip skewer. The steak tips were juicy and cooked nicely, but they tasted like they lacked seasoning or marinade so I had to sprinkle some salt and pepper on them. Of course, the pizza is what we were really there for and I can tell you that it checks all the boxes for a classic pizza. The crust is on the thinner, crispier side which I actually prefer. The pie as a whole had a great color and good flavor between the cheese, sauce and toppings. After experiencing it for myself, it's pretty easy to understand why Santarpio's is so highly regarded in the world of pizza. They stick to what they know and they execute it well.

A heads-up if you're driving: there isn't parking immediately nearby, so expect to walk a little. Also, pay attention once you're on the street because GPS can be a little misleading when trying to locate the entrance. Thankfully, our server, Alexia was great! She was very kind, sweet, and attentive. I actually had to tell her myself that it was my birthday, and once she knew, she did what was necessary to acknowledge it and make the occasion feel a little more special. I really appreciated her for that. The food was good as well. I didn't end up trying any of their cocktails, which is unusual for me, especially during a birthday dinner. By that point, the overall experience just hadn't put me in the celebratory mood I had expected when I chose Yvonne's for the occasion. Maybe my expectations were higher because this was somewhere I'd wanted to visit for so long, but hospitality matters to me, especially at an establishment like this. Amanda helped turn things around, and the food was good, but the overall experience still left me disappointed. Will I come back? I'm honestly unsure.

C Fruit Life is seriously the spot for dessert lovers! I recently tried their bingsoo, and oh my, it was like eating a fluffy cloud. I went for the mango bingsoo, and it was bursting with real mango flavor. You can totally tell they use top-notch ingredients. Their black sesame ice cream? Unreal. Packed with sesame seeds, it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth. Seriously, the best ice cream ever. Oh, and don't even get me started on their mango-wrapped crepe with whipped cream. It was just as tasty as it sounds. But here's the kicker - it's crazy affordable. I mean, $8 for a bingsoo that can easily feed three? That's a steal! Have tried this place several times. I really love the taste of the dessert here. It reminds me of what I have at Hong Kong. It's not that sweet and the quality of the materials are good. I can tell the chef has put a lot efforts to make these desserts. My favorite is taro snowade, avocado smoothie and sesame soup. I have brought a lot of friends here. They all love the place and want to come back again. I don't know why the reviews on yelp are so bad. Some of them look like fake. But I will still try out this place regardless of the reviews.
