We split Beer Battered Pickles, Olives & Boquerones; Wolfsburg¼ Pound Bratwurst, Spicy Mustard, Sauerkraut; Harwood Burger with House Made BBQ Sauce, House Onion Rings, Bacon, Aged White Cheddar; and what we though was twisted as we were there for Happy Hour, none of us were in the mood for alcohol and instead all opted for ice tea with lemon. Visited this place based in Yelp reviews even though I've had reservations because the restaurant is typically empty compared to other local high end restaurants and well I guess my hunch was right. The best part of the night was the service provided by Riley! Riley was amazing and had the best customer service and this establishment is so blessed to have him. Now for the food! Wow what a disappointment! I have never seen someone call a steakhouse a steakhouse where their steak looks like this. The so called steak was about a 1/4 inch thick or maybe even less. Look at the picture compared to the fork. The steak lacked flavor and just overall really disappointed. I've eaten at the at all the local steak houses along with some of the best in the country and when Texas Roadhouse or Logan's, or other chains server a better steak, you need a makeover, a new manager or new purveyor of steaks. Last night we decided to try C Knight's steak house. I had the shrimp scampi with pasta and it was delicious and very tasty. My perfect pear drink was really good and I Rigo's definitely recommend. Now on the other hand my husband had the ribeye steak and it was thin and just there! I tried it and was not impressed and I felt very bad for my husband because his meal was not satisfying like mine was. He did like the scallops so that was good but still kinda disappointing. Our waiter Riley was super amazing and he made our visit the best it could have been. They served it with a grilled half lemon, that was delicious, and the chipotle sauce was a little too much, but next time we will try one of the other sauces. Something to look forward to. A super overdue review! We took a chance the very first time we came here since it's unassuming on the outside, and had the old school steak house vibes inside. Had no idea what to expect but wanted to try something new. We have been visiting ever since!! This is the only restaurant in the area with quality oysters like shingokus and kumamotos. Their broiled option is so delicious with the chorizo lime butter. The crab cakes are the best we have ever had anywhere! Just mostly crab and barely any fillers. Ever since the lead server/bartender Matt joined, we have been coming here on basically a weekly cadence. After he's joined the menu had some refreshes and updates, and the current menu is just wonderful. The scallops, salmon steak, steamed clam bowl, meatballs, lamb, filet mignon, just everything. And king crab legs! So delicious! We have tried most of the menu and have no complaints on any of the dishes. The menu has enough variety that we don't get bored even coming here so regularly. Matt is also very consistent when it comes to service so we actually try to plan to dine when he's working. If you're a big seafood lover this place is honestly much better than Scott's. And I rarely get meat dishes but I know my man thinks they are great from duck to lamb to filet. I do really like their mashed potatoes and forest mushrooms too. There are some lunch options like the chicken caesar (thin chicken schnitzel with anchovies OMG!) and burgers, hot dogs as well. My family's been coming for 3-4+ years and the quality of the meats, wine, and cocktails never misses--the Old Fashioned and Manhattan were excellent. The green phunque and Mac and cheese were flavorful. The ambiance was warm and upscale without feeling stuffy, and our server was friendly. However, when I made the reservation, I noted it was a special occasion--my husband's birthday. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't acknowledged at all. A small gesture or even a simple "Happy Birthday" would have made the evening feel more special. That said, we still enjoyed our night and the quality of the food. read more

It was not worth it and I told my husband to never order anything that is on special. I don't typically order chicken, but the cordon blue is hands down the best thing ever and I love when you take a simple salad and transform it into something so wonderful. The service was great and we did not wait long for our food to arrive. My friends all were impressed with what they ordered and I would say this is my favorite steakhouse. The first time here was great, but it was the second time that I realized with the simple and flawless execution how much the chef respects the ingredients. Everything we had was perfectly seasoned, so that the star of the dish can really shine. The seared scallops were better than what I've had a Gordon Ramsey's; I wanted to drink the beurre blanc. The delivery of the steaks is the most impressive we've ever seen: the plate must have heated metal, because it continues to cook as you eat, so that your last bite still tastes like warm browned butter. Also, their 8oz steaks look like post-cook weight rather than precooked weight. Matt was wonderful, and the timing of service is always excellent. Their back of house communication resulted in all our plates delivered to the right person. Love taking family here when we want to celebrate them! PS. Hubs and I bopped in at 5:30pm on a recent weekday. Originally we had plans to go to another restaurant but found out it was closed. So we were moseying around the Town Center to check out other potential eateries. We settled on C. Knight's Steakhouse due to its Happy Hour pricing and menu options. We are both first timers here. But I'm happy to report out a thumbs up from us for their HH. They had a variety of burgers $15, hot dogs $6, tapas $5, and flatbreads $12 on their HH food menu. They also had beer, wine, and well liquor drink specials. HH is Monday- Friday 3pm-6pm. The burger was excellent. We got the prime steakhouse burger. Mmm. It was delicious. A half pound prime patty that was nicely seasoned and grilled. It came with fries or green salad. We chose the fries though they were a bit heavy handed salting those. The Chicago dog was tasty. The dog casing had a nice snap. It had a strong meaty flavor. Awesome $6 pricing. The interior is gorgeously designed with old school steakhouse style charm all done with a modern funky edge. Dark wood colors and gold accents. Gold tin ceiling. The bar area is compact and cozy with a counter and several pub height tables. It wasn't crowded when we dined. Our friends recommended this place and we were looking forward to a fun evening up the hill- it was anything but. Let's start with a less than welcoming and outdated atmosphere. Not what I would describe as upscale especially for EDH. Dingy, drab ambience. It looked like it could use a good cleaning. This set the tone for the rest of the evening. Tiny tables on top of eachother, thankfully it was a slow night so we didn't have to rub elbows with the table next to us. The place was DEAD. There were maybe 3 other tables seated when the rest of the establishments in Town Center were lively packed, patios full on our drive up, we expected the same from this place, far from it. You do not need a reservation for this joint, it's a ghost town. Right away I noticed the tables have seen better days, replacing or using tablecloths is strongly suggested. Breakdown of my rating: Drinks: Good craft cocktail, however the lemon wedge was slimy, you can tell it was old. The bar is beautiful (and empty). No bartender in sight, that was bizarre. Appetizer: we had a flatbread. It taste store bought from the freezer section- not impressed. Entree: Steak was bland and not a good cut or quality beef. It was one of the worse steaks I've ever had, it was gristly and a thin cut for a steakhouse and the dry lime wedge couldn't fix that! The potatoes au gratin, these were nasty. Can be described as microwaved small potatoes smothered in white sauce- chef needs a lesson in au gratin! Dessert: Not taking any chances. We headed down to Milestone to leave the morgue -like atmosphere and enjoy a nightcap there since the meal left us wondering why our friends recommended this place- they must hate us. The service: Was decent, our server was nice and friendly. The only saving grace to this place. I can't blame the servers for the lack of pride in ownership and quality issues. The grumpy owner, who resembles Peter Griffin from Family Guy was there, turns out he also sells cardboard hot dogs at local concerts. Had I put the two together I would not have come to this establishment. I don't see this place staying open much longer. Ridiculously overpriced and not worth the money. With Eldo Chophouse and much better options in such close proximity, it doesn't stand a chance. This was a one and done for us. Couldn't pay me to ever go back. read more

My husband and I recently discovered this hidden gem of a steakhouse, and it has quickly become one of our favorites! From start to finish, everything is absolutely delicious. My husband especially loves their Old Fashioneds, served over perfectly clear ice, just the way he likes it. Be aware this is near a theatre so there will be some noise from the younger crowd of movie goers. We were going to each order our own pieces of steak but then we saw the tomahawk and my boyfriend hasn't ever tried tomahawk so we decided it was the day! We ordered a salad and split that- found out during the bill that they charge for splitting a plate, was not informed. Had the asparagus as our veggie side dish. Tomahawk- asked for medium rare and we got medium well, pretty disappointed. We were not going to complain and have them waste a whole tomahawk so we ate it. It was still good for being medium well. We finished the entire steak. It wasn't the bay piece of tomahawk I've ever had. It could have been if it was medium rare. Asparagus- my favorite. Whatever they did to season it with, it was the best. Salad- very good/ very expensive salad with an additional charge of a split plate. I should have known since it is a higher end restaurant. Wine/ Caymus- what was recommended and very good. Went well with the steak. Service- not too bad. We were attended to. Only complaint is the way our silverware was being placed on the table.
