    Seafood Platter

Came here during lunch with the hubby and the food, waitress were amazing! We were the only ones in which was nice, because who goes to a steakhouse during lunch? Lol but [[HIGHLIGHT]]cute little intimate restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Waitress was beyond attentive and the food was SO good! We got the cold seafood platter, Caesar salad and we shared a steak and Mac n cheese. Everything was made with love! Would def love to come back at night, because it totally has a little vibe to it,

Last night we decided to try C Knight's steak house. I had the shrimp scampi with pasta and it was delicious and very tasty. My perfect pear drink was really good and I Rigo's definitely recommend. Now on the other hand my husband had the ribeye steak and it was thin and just there! I tried it and was not impressed and I felt very bad for my husband because his meal was not satisfying like mine was. He did like the scallops so that was good but still kinda disappointing. Our waiter Riley was super amazing and he made our visit the best it could have been. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was really great decorated and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But I definitely feel like they could do a better job before it goes totally downhill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I might try again but I think my husband is a hard no!

A perfect Dirty martini on the happy hour menu, only $7

First time coming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had happy hour in a big comfy booth.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server/bartender Riley was amazing, he was attentive and helpful. My dirty martini hit the spot for $7 and I got a burger on the HH for $20. I ordered it without a bun and a side salad. Definitely will go back!

While El Dorado has a lot of good places to eat, with a few steakhouse options, C Knights is a must try! They are located in the El Dorado shopping center, in the same area as the movie theatre. They might be a little difficult to find as they are located towards the end of the entry way into the theater plaza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The setting is inviting and they have a few seating options ranging from a booth style, high table, outside seating, private room and bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are friendly and welcoming. On this visit we had a few options from the menu and everything was delicious. Their appetizers are a good size and are good to share with a few people at the table. There are plenty of entree options and all of their sides are à la carte. The staff make sure to provide their feedback on the entree items and popular choices by other patrons. If you get lucky to have Joyce to help with ordering, she is the best. Made sure everything we ordered came out just like we ordered. Overall, this place is definitely a must try if you are in the mood for steak and some delicious sides.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]C Knight Steakhouse was such a vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All the servers were warm and welcoming, and the lady helping us in the bar area was efficient, attentive, and super accommodating. She checked on us often, and the service overall was truly top notch. The seafood was fresh, the tapas were delicious, and the burgers were huge and perfectly dressed. My drink was strong (in a good way!), and their happy hour offers many great options. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes. Perfect spot for date nights or any occasion. I recommend you stop in if you are in the El Dorado Town Center area.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was so nice here, and when you walked in, it felt like this is a place where the locals hang out, it had a comfortable and unpretentious vibe, where you feel like you can let your hair down[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but our waiter Riley was a stand out. He was quietly efficient, just the right amount of chatty and fun, and so friendly!! Let's get to the food! We shared the wedge salad to start, and I have to say, it's been a long time since I finished a salad starter. It had this dressing. It was like a homemade ranch blended with cilantro, so fresh and unique. The blue cheese was just enough that it wasn't overboard, the cherry tomatoes... not going to lie, they were so good, I wished for a few more, and same with the croutons. I had the steak frites, which were cooked perfectly, and the fries, wow. Crispy, but not over done, tender, salty, felt fresh cut, with what tasted like melted parm, and a little arugula, so good! My husband had the salmon, which was a bit overcooked, but the flavor was delicious, so looking forward to trying that again. They served it with a grilled half lemon, that was delicious, and the chipotle sauce was a little too much, but next time we will try one of the other sauces. Something to look forward to. We also had the gratin potatoes, and if you like scalloped potatoes, these are fabulous!! They were doing a funnel cake cherry thing table side, for dessert, and the aroma!! The air smelled of brown butter and cinnamon, it was like heaven, but we didn't have a chance to try it. If it was half as good as it smelled, I'm sure it was to die for. I had a nice balanced margarita. And my husband had a nice glass of Justin's cab, both were awesome. We will be back for sure!!

We stopped in for a snack and drinks after a movie. I was the designated driver, so I only had a few tastes of the cocktails, but they were very delicious. The food was outstanding--full of flavor and absolutely delicious.

Steamed clams, broiled oysters with chorizo lime butter, and shingoku/kumamoto oysters

A super overdue review! We took a chance the very first time we came here since it's unassuming on the outside, and had the old school steak house vibes inside. Had no idea what to expect but wanted to try something new. We have been visiting ever since!! This is the only restaurant in the area with quality oysters like shingokus and kumamotos. Their broiled option is so delicious with the chorizo lime butter. The crab cakes are the best we have ever had anywhere! Just mostly crab and barely any fillers. Ever since the lead server/bartender Matt joined, we have been coming here on basically a weekly cadence. After he's joined the menu had some refreshes and updates, and the current menu is just wonderful. The scallops, salmon steak, steamed clam bowl, meatballs, lamb, filet mignon, just everything. And king crab legs! So delicious! We have tried most of the menu and have no complaints on any of the dishes. The menu has enough variety that we don't get bored even coming here so regularly. Matt is also very consistent when it comes to service so we actually try to plan to dine when he's working. If you're a big seafood lover this place is honestly much better than Scott's. And I rarely get meat dishes but I know my man thinks they are great from duck to lamb to filet. I do really like their mashed potatoes and forest mushrooms too. There are some lunch options like the chicken caesar (thin chicken schnitzel with anchovies OMG!) and burgers, hot dogs as well. There's something for every palate, occasion or just because, and every budget as well. Cheers and enjoy!

First date night since having a baby and mama wanted a nice, juicy steak. That's exactly what she got and then some at C. Knight's Steakhouse in the beautiful El Dorado Hills. This restaurant may be 30+ minutes from me but it was so worth it. Great customer service. Intimate ambiance. Delicious food - 5 stars! 1. Filet Mignon Carpaccio - this must be one of the top beef carp I have ever tried, top 5 for sure. The meat was sliced so thinly, paired with arugula, crispy crostini's and capers. Every bite was heavenly. Perfect marriage between savory and acidic. 10/10, I would order again! 2. 16oz Ribeye - big enough to share with my husband. Delicious steak cooked to perfection. Would recommend ordering your steak 1 level less because the plates they serve them on are sizzling hot and continues to cook your steak when they are brought out to the table. Sides to order: 1. Potatoes Au Gratin - Seriously the best Au Gratin ever! Get this, this was French fries style. You can taste the truffle cheese with pieces of bacon and creamy, creamy sticky oOoOgoeyyy with every bite! I'm still dreaming about these potatoes, they are that good! All in all, this date night was a success that included great food from a nice restaurant. Would recommend this place to friends and family; I can't wait to go back!

    Paul S.

Took my dad here for his birthday and it delivered, as always. My family's been coming for 3-4+ years and the quality of the meats, wine, and cocktails never misses--the Old Fashioned and Manhattan were excellent. Service is knowledgeable and dialed in, and while it's not cheap, it's worth it if you want a real experience. I stick with the porterhouse, my dad gets the ribeye, and both are consistently outstanding. If you're choosing between this and a chain steakhouse, try this first--you won't be disappointed.

My aunt and I enjoying a delicious meal!
    Genevieve B.

We really had a nice time here at C.Knight's Steakhouse. The service was great. The food was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We loved hearing them "ring the bell" for those celebrating special events like birthdays.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was not cheap, but if you want to treat yourself to a quiet, enjoyable dinner and a wonderful glass of wine, this is a nice place to go.

Both were really good and I really enjoyed the spicy Margarita. My partner paired wine with her Filet Mignon dish. But the thickest portions were for sure medium, so it was still enjoyable, but a little more cooked than I'd prefer. The desserts were good too, my father got the Hazelnut Cheesecake and my partner got the Blueberry Cheesecake. I first made a reservation online, one week in advance for 5pm on a Tuesday. In the reservation notes, I specifically requested a table on the patio (I have a toddler that is in the throwing food on the ground phase), requesting a high chair and stating this dinner is for a 69th birthday dinner. When we arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled reservation, we had to wait almost 15 minutes past our reservation because our table outside was not ready. We had to wait for them to get cushions for the patio chairs, wait time 15 minutes. When they brought us back to the table stating it was "ready" - it wasn't; the table was not wiped down, there was not a high chair, no napkins/utinsils - needless to say, the table was still not ready. After almost 30 minutes past our reservation time, we finally sat down. Our server Nick was cool, personable and provided good recommendations. The best thing we ordered was the lobster roll. One of the best I have ever tried. They have a good selection of starters, seems to be their bread and butter at Eldo, just the starters. The oysters 1/2 doz for $24 was pretty good, nice and fresh oysters. The following entrees were pretty salty which included the Eldo Burger and Bolognese. My shrimp skewers were okay, it came with 2 skewers and the rest of the plate was a cucumber salad, a lot of roasted potatoes and 2 large homemade pita flatbread, nothing to write home about with the entrees. Pretty disappointing all together with the main dishes. With a bill of $325, sad to say Eldo is overrated in my honest opinion, sadly not rushing back for a second visit anytime soon.

It's great to see such an improvement because we've always wanted to love this restaurant. Thanks to Troy and the exceptional service he provided, we'll definitely be coming back to this location. If possible, we'll be requesting him as our server every time. He made all the difference, and we truly appreciate the wonderful experience!

Solid 4.5 really... maybe a little bit more dressings with the salads... they are large!! But tasty…read moreand super fresh! We did the Pete's Steakhouse salad, lots of toppings and you can order the steak cooked to your preference and it's not skimpy. The Buffalo Chicken salad was well spices and great for toppings, fresh! For the kids - Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was good, chicken is tender and sauce is great. Maybe a little less slaw per my kiddo but he is a kiddo..!! Pete's Brewhouse Burger, was cooked well... juicy and ample sized... fries with both and they are too notch, fresh, hot, decent portions. And a small build your own pizza! The pizza dough tastes fresh, medium thick, and good number of toppings too. Service was attentive and patient with indecisive child. Accurate about timing so we knew we would be out in time for our movie. Waitress checked back in on us several times but didn't hover and let us add to order later when one kiddo couldn't figure it out - thanks for that! Ambiance is nice. Quiet enough, music playing old songs that are familiar. TVs with captions that aren't overwhelming. The restaurant is clean and well lit but not overly bright. Like the vibe. Came here for relaxed birthday, it fit what we wanted!! Thanks!!

We were seated and was told that they weren't a full bar, only served beer and wine. The server stated that their other locations have full bars.. I don't get why one place doesn't I will never know. The ambiance was cute for the location I will say. I ordered the All American Burger, asked for it rare to med rare but stated I wanted it pink, the server said "you got it!" My burger was medium, no pink but I was starving so I ate it anyways. For a $21 burger, it was so not worth it. It wasn't worth it for us to eat there too.. Will I come back again, probably not...
