We were welcomed in directed to order online. We both had the beef noodle soup with my son ordering the hot and spicy version. We shared the veggies which were bok choy. I made the mistake of ordering extra noodles which came on the side. We took them home. The beef noodle soup is outstanding! The beef is tender and I love the few tendony pieces. The soup is flavorful and I can taste all the Chinese spices. The NOODLES are the best-hand pulled, the perfect thickness and chewy. So good!! We both finished it all. Came here on Friday and there was no wait. There is a small parking lot, so parking wasn't too bad. We ordered a bunch of items to try. We had beef jerky, oiled pork with garlic sauce, spicy sauce beef and beef tendon, sweet and sour cucumber, hot and spicy beef noodle soup, dan dan noodles, tomato egg noodle, and cumin lamb. NOTE: they don't serve rice here! Beef jerky: 2.5/5 - I thought this dish would be more of a "dry" beef dish, but it came a saucy and it wasn't very spicy. The pieces of beef was a little thick as well. Oiled pork with garlic sauce: 4/5 - thinly sliced pork with this amazing garlic sauce. It was very good. The pork had a little tendon, so was a little chewy on certain parts, which was great. I can't even really describe the garlic sauce other than it was good. They didn't put enough sauce, so we asked for a little bit more. Spicy sauce beef and beef tendon: 1/5 - the meat was shredded. This is usually sliced beef and tendon. It was a pile of little bitty pieces of meat and tendon. The sauce was not spicy or numbing either. Do not order this! Sweet and sour cucumber: 4/5 - refreshing and crispy. Good palette cleanser between dishes. Hot and Spicy beef noodle soup: 3/5/5 - this was pretty good. The noodle that it came in with almost like udon texture/thickness. These are handpulled noodles and you can taste the bounciness of the noodle. Only thing is that it wasn't very spicy and not enough beef pieces. The pieces that are there are pretty fatty. Dan dan noodles: 2/5 - this noodle usually has ground meat, but this one was just noodles, cucumber, and a peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was way too thick, so it wasn't very good. Tomato egg noodle: 4/5 - very good flavor and we swapped out the noodle for the wide noodle and it was very good. The sauce had the right tartness and sweetness to it and it wasn't too thick or too watery. Would definitely order this again. I don't spend much time in the area but post-hike wanted to try something new. Just got one thing to go. There's a few tables inside of you want to eat in. Seemed tight and a little stuffy, but not crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Chili oil noodles with pork came out fairly quick, good amount of everything. Chili oil was medium spicy. Noodles were nice and chewy. QQ Noodle is closer to me and granted I haven't been back in a while but this seemed better than my last QQ visit. Super flavorful and tender hand pulled noodle!! We found this new noodle place and it's surprisingly good and beyond my expectations. Freshly made noodle and they have so many noodle soup dishes to choose from. We tried the beef stir fry noodle and it came with freshly hand pulled noodle. Omg you needa try it, the texture of the noodle is chewy and the flavor are so so good. We also tried Lamb noodle soup, braised beef noodle soup, Sour Spicy Pork noodle soup, big plate lamb with noodle. I personally liked the sour spicy Pork noodle soup so much, because of the taste! My husband and I decided to try out CA Noodle today and they did not disappoint. Scan to order setup. We ordered Braised Noodle Soup, Spicy Oil Dry Noodle(dug into it too quickly before I could take a photo) and Steamed Pork Bun. Everything tastes so good and portions were bigger than expected. Braised Noodle Soup was light but flavoral and the regular noodle was nice and chewy texture. Would definitely order again on a much cooler day, it was 80° out today) Spicy Oil Dry Noodle was so flavorful, we got it with the medium wide hand pulled noodles, which were the perfect texture. It came with minced beef and an aromatic not too spicy chili oil. Steam pork buns came with a vinegar sauce. The meat filling was delicious, but the bun wrapping dulled the taste a little. Normally I would rate places based on their food, but this place took FOREVER to get us all our food. It wasn't until about an whole hour after we were seated until we got all our dishes. From what we observed, it looked like they were giving one dish per table at a time and rotating through each table, and that included the water as well. There would be people that would come in like 45 minutes after we sat down and still get a dish before we had all our dishes yet. We were in a hurry too so this was NOT okay. And we only ordered three dishes, two of the dishes were cold dishes and one of those two was a simple seaweed salad appetizer, which somehow came like 20 minutes after a main dish. The food was just okay. Maybe it's just because they just opened but I think I'm going to wait a while and see how the future reviews are going to be before coming back. read more

Satisfies the craving if you're really craving some hand pulled noodles, but if you have time, it's more worth it to drive out to Fremont or Cupertino/San Jose. I didn't really enjoy the beef noodle soup, the broth was lacking flavor and just didn't taste too satisfying. The lamb noodles were a bit better, they had more vegetables and flavor to them. There still ended up being a lot of liquid at the end of the bowl, so they're a bit wetter than I'd prefer for dry noodles. Would prefer the sauce to be a bit thicker so it lathered the noodles, but it was more thin consistency like water. Service is fine, you order your food on your mobile device like many places nowadays. Glad Dublin has another noodle place, but I likely won't be back unless people I am with want to go here. FOOD: super chewy, al dente hand pulled noodles. The soy bean paste noodle was good but definitely tasted different from other soy bean paste noodle dishes that I've had numerous times. I dont know what unique ingredient they use. The beef noodle was delicious. There is a very slight hint of a kick at the end. I have no tolerance to spicy food and I was able to handle it. It was a very, very faint numbing type of flavor. Again, I don't know what unique ingredient they use. Meat was super tender. Noodles held up it's chewiness despite being soaked in water. When my boyfriend and I went to CA Noodle, I was amazed by the interior design. The ambiance was completely different from the outside and I felt like I was transported to China, particularly with the traditional music playing. We ordered garlic sauced seaweed, braised beef noodle soup, and dan dan noodles. The seaweed was served cold and had a garlicky taste, which was perfect for the warm weather. The noodles looked really good on Yelp so I've had this place bookmarked for a while. WAIT: We came on a Saturday around 11:15am and got seated right away. There was only one other table when we came in and it seemed like mostly to go orders. ORDERING: You order through a QR code that is linked to your table so you can place your order then pay later. The server was very helpful in answering our questions and being patient. FOOD: We have a toddler and there was enough noodles for him to enjoy and a highchair so no complaints there. BRAISED BEEF NOODLE SOUP - the server said it wasn't spicy and although for most people I would agree it did have the slightest bit of spice to it. My toddler didn't notice but he also didn't drink the soup so that's probably where most of the spice is. The default noodles are these thin noodles but they were really good. They were chewy, springy and fresh/soft. Probably some of the best noodles I've had in a long time and surprising for Pleasanton. I can't speak to the soup or beef since I didn't eat that part. LAMB NOODLE - the photo in the menu didn't look like the dish when it came out but I didn't mind. It wasn't spicy but it does have that mala flavor so if you don't like that you might want to avoid this. It comes with thinly sliced pieces of lamb, tender and tasty. It also has cabbage slices. I subbed the flatter noodles than the thin noodles (you can't make the change when ordering so I had to have the server put in the note after I ordered). The flatter noodles are good as well but maybe a little less chewy/springy than the thin noodles. My son actually ended up liking this one better. I think if I had to choose again, I would go for the thin noodles. It probably comes down to preference. DAN DAN NOOLDE - my mother in law ordered this, it's actually vegetarian and does have a slight peanut/sesame taste but not like more traditional dan dan noodles. It was a more orange-y color. The noodles were even chewier/fresh than the soup noodles, which makes sense since they aren't in hot soup. Overall, definitely will be back to get noodles and try different ones. Authentic Chinese noodle soup! So when the menu says spicy, it will be SPICY. Chili oil noodle with pork - sooo good but also very spicy. I like the texture of the hand pulled noodle. It is right amount of sauce, so each bite of the noodle is covered by the sauce. My bf thinks the vinegar flavor is a little bit overpowering but I like it. Lamb noodle soup - probably the best lamb noodle soup I had in Bay Area. The soup is very flavorful without being too salty. The lamb is very tender and good portions. Braised Beef Noodle Soup - $19.30 One of my favorite places in Pleasanton. Noodles have a great chew and the broth is super rich. The spicy version is a bit too much for me but I don't mind just getting the normal one since it's still so flavorful. My gf usually gets the Spicy Chili Oil Noodles and I think it's really good too but I don't think it's as good as OK Noodle in Milpitas, the one here tastes very strongly of salt to me. Food was okay. Lost a star because the "beef" was ridiculously gamey and tasted EXACTLY like lamb. We were assured by the waiter that the meat was beef, but if it really was beef, the flavor was very off. Came in here as a party of three on a Friday afternoon for lunch around 1:30PM. There was plenty of seating so we got to choose a table. We ordered using the QR code located on the walk behind our table. Ordering was pretty easy and quick. Our food rolled out at different times, but altogether came out within ~10 minutes of ordering. The oiled pork was good; thin slices of pork underneath some sort of chili oil and cucumber. I wasn't a fan of the flavor of the chili noodles, but it's because the flavor profile of the oil just doesn't suit me. The noodles had a really nice and thick consistency. The beef chow mein was flavorful and suited to my taste, however the meat that was included did not taste like beef at all. The first of us who tried it mentioned that the beef tasted a little like lamb, and after trying the meat, I was convinced that they had put lamb in the noodles. As someone who generally enjoys the taste of lamb but can also recognize the earthy flavor that many people detest, I was definitely tasting major gaminess that should not be present in beef. This was very off-putting, especially since we brought it up to the waiter and he confirmed that it was indeed beef. The three dishes came out to be ~$45 before tip. The portion sizing was decent. The place appeared to be clean and new, however I wasn't a fan of the wooden chopsticks they offer. I feel like non-porous shared utensils are more sanitary, though the wooden chopsticks did fit the wood/natural aesthetic nicely. Overall, will not be returning. This is a newly opened Noodle Shop featuring Northern China cuisine. It's located on Stanley Blvd. between Pleasanton and Livermore. The mailing address is Pleasanton. They have been open more than a month but they have been doing a 'soft opening' that just turned into their Grand Opening this week. This is a very small place and the setup is different from most casual eateries. Every table has a large, prominent QR Code displayed that will take you to their Square Point of Sale app for order entry for both take out and dine in when you use your Smartphone Camera. In theory, it should work flawlessly. But it doesn't. The whole ordering app is weird and unreliable. I had hoped that by waiting a bit before visiting, they would have all the kinks and problems worked out. This ordering app is a prime example. In theory, you complete the ordering process and designate that it is Dine-In or Take Out and your order is digitally delivered directly to the kitchen. They will put the order up and the lone dining room staff person delivers it to the customer's table for dine-in or to the waiting customer for take out.. On this visit, the dining room fellow saw us struggling with the app. He brought us printed paper menus and that helped us complete submitting our order. About 5 minutes later, we received our food items. It was all very hot and tasty for most of it. The food ratings are: Tomato Beef Stew Noodle ($15.50) 4-star Mixed Mushroom Spareribs Noodle Soup ($15.50) 4-star Harbin Red Sausage ($8.79) 2-star Sweet & Sour Cucumber Salad ($8.99) 3.5 star 1 Teapot of House Tea (no charge) 2-star (not hot) The appetizers were interesting - The cucumber salad was fairly bland but it was fresh and crispy. The Red Harbin Sausage was a disappointment - I'm not sure what authentic Harbin Sausage is supposed to taste like but I seriously doubt it's what they served us. I thought it was a lot like Hillshire Farms Smoked Rope Sausage found in just about any typical supermarket. It was served sliced and cold with a little sweet & sour sauce. My Tomato Beef Stew Noodles was excellent! I highly recommend it. My wife had the Mushroom Spareribs Noodle Soup. She had similar praise for her main course! The big, fat noodles had the feel of handmade. They were just right - a bit chewy - think of it as Asian al dente. This reliance on digital technology for the customer to view the menu, order their meal and produce the bill sounds good (supposed to be no waiting, quick, easy and efficient) but in reality, it doesn't work well. I counted 3 people in the kitchen and just one staff person out in the dining room. Using their digital, wireless system, I believe it's possible to do all without ever having to talk to anyone at the establishment. The single staff person out front delivers the food and refills your beverage but I can see that the staff person could be non-English speaking (or unfamiliar with the local language). Ever since OK Noodle closed in East Bay, we haven't been able to find a new authentic beef noodle soup place. However, once we tried CA Noodle, we were immediately impressed by the food selection and the beef noodle soup! Their beef noodle soup is comprised of fresh hand cut noodles along with a very aromatic and savory broth. The beef and tendon accompanying this soup are very tender and satisfying! I think we found our new beef noodle spot! :) On the other hand, their liang pita app is very refreshing. It's a cold noodle dish with fresh cucumbers and tofu. Love it! The pickled vegetables had an interesting flavor. The veggies were nice and crisp, I just couldn't figure out if I loved or hated the unique flavor. The flavor of the soups is incredible though. The spicy one could've used a bit more spice, but was still delicious. The beef was so tender and tasty and the noodles were perfect. The chow mein was AMAZING! Thinly sliced vegetables and beef mixed with the perfect amount of seasoning and of course those perfect noodles. The lamb burger was just ok - bun was a little dry and meat was a bit gamey (yes, I know lamb is gamey to begin with). I'm old school and not a huge fan of online menu and ordering systems, but it was nice there were pictures and that you could easily continue to order more food should you need it.
