Parking can be a bit of a pain, but it's absolutely worth dealing with for the food at Cabo Tacos. I haven't had a single dish here that I didn't love. Their fish and shrimp tacos are the best. The ceviche is also very good. The service is always friendly, and the place stays impressively clean.

Even the restroom gets the full coastal treatment!

Not sure how Glendora does it, but the self proclaimed "Pride of the Foothills" may soon need to rechristen itself as the "Pride of the FOODIES" 'cause this city packs more powerful, multicultural foodie wallop per square mile than any city within thirty miles! Care to debate me, your Favorite Yelp Correspondent?! Sheeeeeeeeeiiit. There's the "as seen on TV" West Coast Cheesesteaks for hoagie lovers, Miyako Sushi for sushi enthusiasts, Abu Omar Mediterranean- the first trio are housed within the Glendora Plaza anchored by Stater Bros. Trek one mile west on Route 66 and you'll run into The Donut Man, splendid for post-meal desserts, and the site of last night's decadent meal, CABO TACOS. I was out Door Dashing when my youngest called, decrying how he'd rather not eat leftover spaghetti for dinner. Seizing on our shared hankering for tacos, I went about finding a nearby taco proprietor offering a "Taco Tuesday" promo. As it was already 7:40pm, most places had already shuttered for the day or were about to close, at 8pm. [Unsolicited Pro Tip- Never order from a restaurant within 30m of closing time. Not only is it inconsiderate but you run a small risk of having your food wiped with distinctly unsanitary objects!] I happily stumbled across Cabo Tacos, a small, family run establishment across from Baskin Robbins and 100 yards west of The Donut Man on Route 66. I ordered ten carne asada tacos, a quintet for each of us. As you can see from the attached photos, the family has gone to great lengths to style their restaurant in the maritime blues and seashell creams of the ocean. ...even their restroom is outfitted in littoral hues! Pro Tip- Don't dodge Cabo Tacos, whose specialties include fish tacos and ceviche, just because you're seeking asada!! These tacos were a very pleasant revelation!! Copious, generous portions of well-seasoned meat, minced cabbage, onions, cilantro and even tomatoes. Our bill, for ten well-portioned tacos, salsa and taxes, was $22.48. My youngest son, who at 21yrs old is just beginning to emerge from his teenaged tendency to withhold words, even texted me "Daddy don't be skimpy in your review. This place was fire!" His father enthusiastically agrees. We're pleased, overjoyed even, to add Cabo Tacos to our rotation of fave local restaurants we patronize. You should, too.

This is me. The 30 yr old lady Johana saw was rude to the other old lady while being the rudest cashier ever. So petty!

this is a picture of myself. Yelp is a platform for the customer to review a business without retaliation, but in this case, you can tell they are using someone affiliated with this business. if you see the recent reviews, different customers complained about the behavior of the "lady," that she's so rude and entitled. they food Is great, but the customer service is degrading to the point of not wanting to be a customer after +10 years of consuming at this business, that is insane! But instead of taking accountability, this lady has someone affiliated with her and posting my picture and retaliating. I feel harassed and do not feel safe anymore posting reviews for other customers, now I feel unsafe due to this establishment posting my picture using an affiliate of them. I already reported this and the false allegations. LADY! Just take accountability for your service instead of blaming your customers for your poor customer service. Even, the owner took accountability, stop using other people to make false allegations for you. Everything I said was the truth, and even the next day during lunch at work we ordered food from your business because we love the food but dislike the service. And again, got the order wrong, eventhough they told this lady that they thought this lady got the order wrong and she said no, that it was right and again she got it all wrong. Accountability! Come on! yeah, this is retaliation from this lady and I do not consent anyone to use my image and pictures.

Used to be good but times are rough it seems Grilled fish tacos are 90% cabbage and sauce now with crumbled pieces of fish.

Fish tacos never disappoint! The salsa is tasty and has a little kick! The best part is the chilis that come with. Cute boat life feels ambiance. Friendly fast service.

One of the best fish taco spots I've been to along the foothills. All the seafood was very delicious!Good prices, fast service with all the right flavors. Clean and very kind staff!

Chicken, al pastor, and grilled fish tacos in back. Beautiful day for some outdoor seating.

Ask the Community - Cabo Tacos

What type of fish are the fish tacos?

Do they put lard in their beans and chicken stock in their rice? Do they have vegetarian-friendly options?

They will be using the lest expensive bulk beans that they can find so it will have lard. They classify "vegetarian" meals as vegetarian rather than vegan so that is a clue. They prepare all of their foods using the same cooking surfaces so not vegan

Things get busy…read more Good thing I did, because when I called to check on the pickup, they claimed they "couldn't find" my order ticket. Fine mistakes happen. But what happened next was unbelievable. While I was on the phone explaining that I did place the order and had proof, the chef actually said, "Well, anyone could call and say they placed an order." The audacity. Instead of listening, instead of checking, instead of even pretending to care, I was basically accused of making the whole thing up. And here's the kicker: after all that attitude, all that dismissiveness, all that unnecessary back‑and‑forth, the order ticket suddenly appeared. Miraculously. I still picked up the tamales because it was Christmas and I didn't have time for more chaos, but the damage was done. The situation could have been handled with basic respect and professionalism. Instead, it was handled with suspicion and rudeness. We never went back and honestly, that says everything.

Called in my order and it was smooth and easy. This place is CASH ONLY and they have an ATM inside if needed. Arrived and the cashier was friendly and easy transaction. Received my burrito in no time and I devoured it as soon as I got back to work. The meat was tender and not dry. HATE it when it's dry and tough. Seemed like they gave a little too much chile verde sauce but I think I'd rather have too much than too little. It was not the best wet burrito I've had but it's definitely delicious and I would have it again without any hesitation. The restaurant was clean and there were plenty of tables for guests. Typically, El Picosito formulates their burritos w/ the protein of your choice, beans/rice, cheese, onions/cilantro and hot sauce- I made only one change, pivoting from the hot sauce to sour cream. My burrito was good sized, filling and quite toothsome, a rib-sticking, finger-licking meal. While I canmot affirm if they're "a lil bit spicy," they are a lotta bit tasty.
