I recently met up with my sister and nephew for an early Sunday breakfast at Café Cravings in White Bear Lake -- and I'm so glad she introduced me to this hidden gem! I had no idea this place even existed, but now that I do, it's definitely a new favorite. Everything here is homemade, and you can truly taste the difference. I was "yum-yum-ing" left and right. I enjoyed an iced honey bee latte (perfectly sweet and smooth!), a breakfast sandwich with sausage (hearty and satisfying), and couldn't resist sampling some of their amazing baked goods. The brown butter coffee cake and almond bar were all rich and flavorful. My nephew enjoyed the pancakes and my sister got the skillet, and both were delicious. There's a huge variety of food and drink options -- from bakery items to breakfast plates to specialty coffee drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff were friendly, the indoor seating was cozy, and there's a spacious outdoor patio that's perfect for a sunny morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a drive-thru, which is super convenient, and it's clear this place is a local favorite as we noticed lots of regulars stopping in, which is always a good sign. If you're anywhere near White Bear Lake -- or even just in the mood for a little drive -- come here. It's absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back very soon.

Omg the gluten free pancakes are huge and the best I have ever had! I am excited to come again and try some of the gluten free bakery items. They have a large parking lot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe is small inside so better for small groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cafe Cravings has been an icon in our area my whole life. I remember my grandma taking me there to get an amazingly decadent hot chocolate growing up and their massive cookies. However now that we are older we do pop in for food and family time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On this visit we had a 6 month old with us, and were able to find a nice spot on the patio to be together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ordered inside at the counter (which is filled with amazing baked goods to choose from) and then were able to enjoy the calm patio space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have fresh options every day in addition to their usual offerings, and their apple walnut pancakes this day stole the show. It was so so good. We love this little place and supporting local, and will definitely be going back on my next visit in hopes they have those pancakes still!

IMHO I was visiting from California and wanted to treat my Minnesota friend to breakfast. I Yelped nearby breakfast joints and Cafe Cravings piqued my interest. At 10:30 am, we claimed our table then went up to order from the very friendly staff. (Yes, everyone is "Minnesota Nice"!) We ordered the Stuffed French Toast with a side of bacon and the Breakfast Croissant. For my personal taste, the stuffed French toast (with cream cheese) and the sugary topping was a tad too sweet for me, yet I finished my shared portion! My friend devoured her breakfast croissant! By the time we left, the dining room was full! Yes, I'll definitely go back one day!

I ordered online for pickup (website is very easy to navigate with pictures and descriptions of the food) Greeted promptly and my "Office Treats" were ready to go. Scone, Lemon Poppy Seed, Carmel Roll and more. It's a cute cozy little place to eat in (plenty of free parking) or use their convenient drive thru as well. Breakfast and Lunch items are available. Well worth the price (food cost is unfortunately high right now for restaurants) for the quality of food they serve. Definitely will be back!

Service was great, love the "serve yourself model" except I didn't love that other patrons can handle all of the silverware . The eggs were perfect! The bit of dill in the hollandaise was delicious! Unfortunately the potatoes were awful. Seemed like they were cooked long before we arrived as they were not hot and nor crisp (like they had been slightly warmed in a microwave). The building itself could use a facelift, but I care less about what a place looks like and more about the food. I'd come back for that hollandaise and to try some of the delicious looking baked goods!

Just an amazing hole in the wall place that my family enjoyed on some random morning. The FOOD IS AMAZING! You order at the counter but they bring the food to you. It's just great, people are young and friendly...what a way to spend a beautiful day on the outdoor patio with your favorite people.

This little place has been on my to go list and it did not disappoint. My spouse and I will have to return because there was so many more things to try. I got the special blueberry French toast bake that was amazing. It's pieces of French toast cut up and mixed with blueberries and baked, topped with whipped cream. Dessert for breakfast at its best. Definitely a breakfast for two. My spouse got the eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint. The English muffin was grilled to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was phenomenal with so much butter. The ham was a good portion as well. As for the service, we got there and there was two people in front of us. We looked at the menu and then ordered right at the counter. The women in the front made our drinks right away. We did have to wait for our food for about 20 minutes, which we didn't mind since we sat outside on the patio with such nice weather. We loved that they had many tables inside and outside to sit. The ambiance is like a nice brunch for any day of the week. It was calm and so nice to dine there. However, many people came after us and they do have a small staff so expect to wait. Which we were fine with because we were not in a rush. There were so many other desserts that I have to come back to try. We both got there turtle mocha and it was delicious. Will definitely return again soon!

Not good. Burnt bacon in my croissant breakfast sandwich. Eggs Benedict had thin sliced sandwich ham. Who does that? Not impressed.

I'm a basic vanilla guy however I've tried other flavors and their dole whip. All fire. You can also dip your soft serve. On a different occasion when it was too hot outside I did a cherry dip. Melted like crazy under the dip but still fire and I'd do it again. Haven't tried their food but it always smells good. Should you give any and all the above a shot? Absolutely. Drive across town at rush hour hating your life in traffic? Worth it. The location? Small lot, street parking options, the cutest little stand you could ask for with a few benches to the side. We were planning to to have dinner in the area anyway, we may as well try it out. It's basically a stand in a parking lot with like a strip mall next-door. There's plenty of outside seats and parking. There was no line when we got there at 5:30 on a 90° day. They only do soft serve ice cream so we got vanilla dip, vanilla sprinkle, and an orange dip cone. The chocolate dip did not taste very chocolatey, so I took it off as it was not worth the calories. The ice cream was melting fast, but the chocolate shell did not melt at all and kept its form to the end. Not sure what is in it that made it not melt. The soft serve itself was just OK. It wasn't very creamy or tasty, but it was cold and served its purpose on a hot day.

I brought home some treats from the pastry display, including an above average vanilla eclair and some macarons, one of which is super big! It's like hamburger sized, look at my picture. The pandan dessert had really good pandan flavor, but the inside was a little too sweet and rich for me. I split it up into a few dessert meals. The owner was really nice and gave a free French bread, which I also liked. It wasn't too thick and it had a nice crisp to the outside.
