It's the little things that count. I didn't have anything fancy here - just eggs, chicken sausage, biscuits, fruit, and coffee. But everything was done right: the biscuits were heavenly and like nothing I've had before. The fruit side was plentiful - instead of a couple measly pieces of mushy fruit, it was freshly cut, and heaped in a small bowl. And the drip coffee was quite good. The food (5/5) here was really good! I got the lemon berry pancakes w the corn beef hash. It was well seasoned/cooked. All of the flavors in each dish truly showed up in each bite. My friend got the wings, blueberry pancakes and the grilled biscuits- the wings were on the drier side- the biscuits AMAZING- they were lights fluffy and even better with the fig jam. The service (3.5/5) was...interesting. Our main waiter kind of never came to the table, the saving grace was a woman with curly hair who was VERY attentive. She was great!!! Been here many times. I legit think the French toast here is the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot of French toast). It's so perfectly fried, and there are many delicious topping choices. My favorite I've tried is the seasonal pumpkin one in the fall. Bit of a sweetness overload though, can't finish it all. But hot tip: they do half portions of French toast so you can combine it with something savory. I also like their sandwiches, biscuits, and home fries. Despite a lot of love for their pancakes, I'd say they are just fine. Mixed experiences with service are making me dock a star. Sometimes they are very slow and inattentive. Even with reservations, they sometimes make you wait a good bit for a table. I guess it makes sense since this place is SO busy. Without reservations, the wait on weekends is insane. We went on a Friday morning, so here are a few things to note: parking is difficult and very minimal if you don't have a residential pass, so be sure to leave plenty of time to try to find some, and make sure to make a reservation! We were seated immediately and our servers were fantastic - thanks Erica and Lili! I ordered the Country Biscuit Breakfast with bacon and vegan chorizo, which comes with eggs your way and a jalapeño cheese sauce, and my husband ordered one of their omelettes with sausage, bacon, onions, and bell peppers. We both upgraded our sides to their truffle fries - it's worth the $2! We also ordered two hot mocha lattes which were the real bang for our buck at only $5 a pop. It's a busy, lively space with lots of windows, and you're a bit close to your neighbors at times but it's a popular spot for a reason! We had one of the best breakfast experiences we've ever had here. From the moment we walked in, the service was above and beyond. We were lucky enough to meet one of the owners, Matt, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Had an amazing conversation with him and he surprised us at the end of our meal with one of his favorite dishes, the lemon ricotta pancakes (which were absolutely divine). Such a thoughtful and generous gesture that made the whole experience even more memorable. Every bite of food was perfect.. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Our server, Juan, was phenomenal! Attentive, friendly, and made us feel so well taken care of the entire time. Truly some of the best service we've ever received at any restaurant. You could also feel the positive energy in the room! Everyone working there had a smile on their face, and it's clear the morale is high. This was my first meal on my first trip in Boston! And it did not disappoint. I definitely recommend making a reservation, calling ahead, or getting there early for a brunch on the weekend. Luckily I was by myself so I was able to walk right in and get a seat at the bar. That also fills up really fast so I wouldn't count on that even if you have a party of two only. Now let's get to the good stuff, the food! Because I was by myself, I didn't wanna splurge too much but I got the infamous, lemon ricotta, pancakes, and a side of bacon. Didn't love the bacon but The pancakes were very tasty. I wish they were a little bit sweeter, but the fruit was really great with it. Because it was so busy I did have to ask for a side of syrup and they gave me a bottle of maple syrup which I would've preferred to be warm instead room temp but it's all good. The presentation was amazing! And if I had had another person with me, I probably would've splurged and gotten a couple other things to try. We were literally ignored for over 30 minutes during our visit to the first restaurant in Boston during our trip and we thought that had set the tone for what to expect. BUT I am ecstatic that I was SO wrong. The Staff at Cafe Luna was incredibly kind and accommodating. We came in on a weekday and only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Everything is very modern and the menu has a wide variety of yummy choices. We had the kitchen sink and were able to select two meats with the order and it was delicious. We also had the lobster sandwich (it's a cold version) but delicious nonetheless paired with the house hot sauce. If we ever visit Boston again, this will be a must stop brunch place! read more

I caught up with a few old colleagues at Cafe Luna for a Tuesday lunch and it was quite busy. We were seated right away at the bar. Food: 7.5/10 I like the food and my cappuccino. I was looking at the menu, and this man, I don't know if he is the waiter or bar tender, he told me that my friend won't show up. I said she will, the traffic delayed her. And then he passed by my chair again, told me "your friend will not show up" I was so confused I asked him if he knows her. He said no. After that, he was just keep telling me my friend will not show up every time he pass by. I got so annoyed. 20 minutes later my friend showed up, and he doesn't seems happy about it. Maybe he just wish there was nobody there in the restaurant. It was a terrible experience. I always liked there because of the location, and I never went back there again. Even on DoorDash delivery, the food is well-packaged and comes to you almost as if you were right there in the restaurant. I walk past it every day on the way to work, and EVERY day, there are at least a few people waiting in line outside for the doors to open. And I do truly mean every day. A few of my favorite dishes are: -Pulled chicken & sweet potato hash: I've gotten this the last few times I went here, and it's such a robust and flavorful dish! -Mexican churro French toast: The best part is the dulce de leche for sure--I will say this dish is a sugar bomb, and might even leave your stomach hurting if you eat it too quickly, so dine with caution. -Most any of the pancakes or waffles with fruit Café Luna had better stay around forever. In terms of taste, you can't go wrong with any of thr Eggs Benedict on the menu. Egg Bennies are one of my favorite dishes but I keep coming back for these! The lobster one was a little heavy and made me feel a little sick after finishing it but I'd order it again. The star was definitely the French toast. It's sweet and filling but addictive. Even after I was full on the eggs Benedict, I just HAD to keep eating the French toast. My final complaint is that the drinks come out warm. I like my mimosas cold but that could just be personal preference. This is a solid place to start when planning out a weekend date! read more

Can I start off with thee BEST customer service I've had ever ?! Knowing that that place would be popular and busy, I came 15 minutes early for a party of 9.
