I ordered for delivery from Café Zupas and will be ordering from them again. I got the citrus cottage cheese bowl and it came with a baguette with butter and a chocolate Covered strawberry. That in itself just really made me feel like they care about their customers and want you to have a good meal. The bowl was big, fresh, and it tasted great. I do like that they have dressing on the side so you can add that to your taste And mixing it up was easy as the bowl they provided is big enough to mix in. Well, I can't speak on the location, I can speak on the quality of food and my desire to go back again. If you're looking for a really fresh meal, that isn't just a standard salad this is the place to go. The menu consists of power bowls, salads, sandwiches, soups, and desserts! All orders are served with a bread roll and a chocolate dipped strawberry! I am an incredible sucker for a good soup and sandwich place, and this one? A true knock-out! I fell in love with their lunch boxes--a half sandwich (which was definitely large enough to be a full sandwich), a cup of soup, one bread roll, and a chocolate-dipped strawberry--and started ordering from here regularly. I am uncertain if the lunch box is a limited-time item or not, but it has allowed me to try a good chunk of the menu! What I have tried: Tomato Basil (soup)- tasted great over noodles, but was less than impressive on its own. Gave strong noodle dish sauce flavors. Southwest Potato & Green Chili (soup)- my absolute favorite soup from here! Comes with tortilla chip strips for added texture, which compliments the bold/rich flavor. Blended flavors make this a rounded soup, which I could eat as a meal alone! Mushroom Bisque (soup)- much like the Tomato Basil, this was much better over noodles. Delightful, but definitely sauce vibes here as well. Chicken Enchilada (soup)- Rich and flavorful, this is a great southwest chili. Don't go in expecting strong enchilada overtones, but do plan for a robust New Mexico chili flavor. Wisconsin Cauliflower(soup)- very smooth in flavors, a bit sharp from the cheese with no balance. There is absolutely no missing the cauliflower flavor here, it's strong. If you like cheese and cauliflower, this is a winner. Chicken Noodle (soup)- this is a good chicken noodle. I wish I could say more, but it's chicken noodle soup. Mac and Cheese - it is the Wisconsin Cauliflower soup but over noodles. It's good, but due to just being another soup with noodles added, it seems lazy to rebrand it. Italian Club (sandwich)- I love this sandwich. The flavors are rich, and the Muenster cheese compliments the capicola perfectly to prevent it from being lost in the shuffle. My absolute recommendation for sandwiches here. Vegetarian (sandwich)- it's hard finding a tofu sandwich that doesn't fall prey to being bland, so this was a pleasant exception. The addition of pesto creates a crisp contrast to the clean flavors the vegetables bring. Definitely a highlight of the menu. Chipotle Steak Club (sandwich)- if it weren't for the pickled red onions and avocado, this would be way too rich. However, if you want a protein punch in the day, this is a good option. Steak Cheese (sandwich)- this was really nice, if a bit slimy. The vegetables were a bit overcooked, hence the texture issue, but the flavor was great. A good cheesesteak style sandwich, all in all. Strawberry Creme Brule (dessert)- delicious! Topped with a fresh strawberry and a layer of strawberry coulis, this was a very refreshing dessert. Salted Caramel Creme Brule (dessert)- rich and vibrant, this was such a satisfying pairing of gentle egg pudding and deep caramel flavors. I have ordered this one multiple times, and will continue to do so! Belgian Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries (dessert)- one comes complimentary with every lunch box I got, but you can order them separately as well. No wimpy, over-sugared chocolate here, this was decadent when paired with the fresh strawberry it coats. So good! I can't give any feedback on staff, cleanliness, or decor, as all my orders have been by delivery. However, based on food alone, this is a solid 5/5 for me! Went to have lunch, they had the doors locked during business hours. Knocked on the door with employees looking out they would not come to the door. Proceeded to call the restaurant and they answered and said they had a big order and are not able to help the 7 customers that were waiting outside. I understand having a large order to fulfill but, they could have had a sign on the door stating this so that people were not grouping outside of what should be a open restaurant. Big fan! There are always fresh options that seem to be healthy. Meals come with a chocolate covered strawberry and side options - how could you not love a chocolate covered strawberry?! The meals are very hearty, and I usually stretch it into 2 meals. I have had the chicken pesto sandwich, honey bacon club, and the chipotle chicken salad. All three were excellent! Friends have ordered other dishes and I have heard nothing but positive things. I recently stopped in for the creme brûlée cheesecake. Creme brûlée is my favorite dessert and my husbands is cheesecake... now instead this is one of our favorites! The staff are very personable and friendly! Did I just get Punk'd because this place is a joke. 15-20 minutes in line, after ordering. Front line staff was not very polite and seemed to be lost in what they were supposed to be doing. I've called ahead for carry out multiple times, and each time they put me on hold like I am inconveniencing them. So now I expect a solid 20 minutes of my time just to phone ahead. That being said, most times I've called ahead they lost the order or it was incorrect. The staff looks confused and bewildered. Long lines, and angry customers in store. Word of advice: get online ordering and increase staff. Also, bring Sarah back, she was awesome and seemed to make the work flow better. When I first walked into Cafe Zupas I had high hopes. The line started out with someone very friendly. He helped me and my friend with ordering and had a positive attitude. My enjoyment of Cafe Zupas ended there. I ordered a sandwich and a salad. They got made pretty quickly by him and a panini press person and got sent down the line. We waited to pay for about ten minutes. When we got to the register, I saw that the sandwiches were resting on a table in the back that had trash on it and the person at the register was wearing the same gloves to handle money and food. By the time we sat down, everything was luke warm. My vet clinic ordered lunch from them last minute today. It was and order for 10 people and we placed the order at 11:15am and were told it would be delivered at 12:45pm. This wasn't a problem, because we placed the order late. My manager decided it might be quicker if we picked it up instead, so I called back and they said, "no problem, we can have that ready by 12:15pm for pickup." After I got off the phone Mark, the catering manager called back a few minutes later and said, because we are located so close, he will just send someone out with the order and have it delivered at 12:15pm no problem. Our order was delivered right at 12pm, 15 minutes earlier than he said. The food was fresh, delicious and everyone's order was 100% accurate! Mark called a couple hours after delivery to see how our service and order was. I cannot say enough how tremendous the service was from Cafe Zupas, Richfield today. When I'm in the area and need a quick healthy lunch/dinner I come to Cafe Zupas. The Cobb salad is delicious...they are a little skimpy on the chicken and you have to pay extra for croutons I always have to request extra meat. The tomato basil soup is good and I tasted the clam chowder and it wasn't bad. The desserts look amazing but they're a splurge on calories so I've never tried them. I do get an extra strawberry or two in addition to what comes with the salad and that is always a welcome treat after my meal. Oh my gosh. I am going to have a hard time not coming here multiple times a week. The salads are so fresh and exactly what I've been looking for. I got the chipotle bowl with pork and the pork was tender and flavorful. The lobster bisque is pretty good but I'll probably try another kind next time. There are 4 healthy drinks that don't have any artificial or corn based sweeteners! And the deserts. The creme brûlée cheesecake is really worth coming for on its own! So clean and lots of nice seating too. Really large servings for around $10 for my whole meal. I didn't bring my little girl but I think she'd eat their grilled cheese. Plus, an easy stop off Hwy 77. Yes!! I also love that they use real, washable plates and bowls but I wish they'd up their game with compostable glasses and lids or real non disposable glasses. A person can definitely eat keto here since they let you modify as you'd like. It's like Panera but waaayyy better! You can do a pick two combo of a sandwich, salad or soup. I did the Turkey artichoke spinach sandwich and the seasonal Spring Greens salad. It all was soooo goood! I'm super picky when it comes to Kale salads but the kale didn't have a strong taste with how it was mixed with the other veggies. They have so many options and what was ever cooler was the drink machine of lemonades made from raw honey! Such a healthy place to eat at. Such a great addition to Richfield! The restaurant had an amazing atmosphere. It is bright and welcoming, and gives you a good vibe right when you walk in. The food options are amazing. A previous viewer said there were not many vegetarian options- there are TONS! There were so many things I wanted to try, but settled for the grilled cheese and cauliflower soup. Oh my gosh, if I could bathe in the cauliflower soup I would. It was so delicious!!! I also like to think of myself as a grilled cheese connoisseur, and this grilled cheese blew my mind. The flavors; the perfect balance of savory and salty- it was delicious! My husband got some turkey sandwich and the chicken gumbo and both were equally awesome. The icing on the cake were the chocolate dipped strawberries we got to finish the meal. Absolutely amazing. Oh wait- there's more.
