Everything was great here! Ordered the Country fried Steak Special that came with a little bit of everything to try. We all enjoyed our dishes and had zero disappointment. They serve the food on cute little trays and potatoes in a fry basket. Ordered lattes and they were delicious! I will definitely be returning here to try other things on the menu. It was a little busy on a Saturday and it's a small place. My only complaint is the waiting structure. We kind of just waited in line watching people finish their food with our large party of 6 holding the door open to be seated, without much acknowledgement from the waiters. What a sweet spot. This is a gem of a restaurant. Food was great. It's a busy place and quite small, so be prepared to wait. It's worth it though. Word to the wise: their menu says "no substitutions" but what they really mean is "no modifications." How dare you ask to add onions to your omelette! read more

My mouth waters each time I pass by or hear about this cafe! This is the first restaurant I ate at when I first moved here to Buckeye. I was starving from my long drive and this place served me a giant pancake, some sunny side up and some delicious free refill coffee. The decor is also very nice! It's like an oasis in the middle of buckeye! Keep up the wonderful work! One of these days when I am not working I will come by again for your delicious pancakes and coffee! read more

We really wanted to like this place, but we won't be back after our first visit. The service is extremely slow, we were the only ones in there, ordered two breakfast entrees & waited a half hour. The place overall is cute, but I can't imagine how much of a mess it is when busy. Also overpriced, they don't show prices on the menu in the store, but do online so check prior if that's important. Last the portion sizes are very big and there are no healthy options; no fruit, veggie omelette, nothing. read more

The rave reviewers for this place must certainly not go out much. The service was slow and the food mediocre. Cutsey does not equal quality. And basing your name on a bible verse is so assurance either. Food served on aluminum trays with potaoes served in a small wire basket with some sort of seasoning on them. I fid not like the flavor. The country sausage grave served with the biscuits had very little flavor. You should not have to salt and pepper this type of gravy to get some flavor. The waitress reminded me of a Geritol commercial. She had "tired blood". She had a huge tattoo of a clock that covered her whole forearm. I think it needed to be wound up! Food was okay, The service was fast. But be aware the menu says to scan for prices and those prices don't match the charges on the bill. I had a burger that was $17.50 turns out it was actually $18.50. My wife had a chicken sandwich that was $16.50 turns out it was actual $19.50. There is a ** that states price are subject to change. As much as I like supporting local if I can't trust your prices and menu I probably won't be back. read more

The potatoes were a bit overdone today and yesterday. One suggestion I would make is to take away the two chairs at the window bar behind the two top table because the people that sit there are hovering over the person at the two top. I had the fish special, and my wife had the downtown burger. Naturally, we sampled each other's meals, and I must say they were dynamite! The texture and breading of the fish were nothing short of exquisite. The tender burger was very flavorful and delicious as well. The ambiance was pretty chill, and the waitress was very nice. I cannot forget to mention the incredible fries that came with both our meals. This fine establishment is definitely worth returning for another tasty lunch. read more

Not really understanding the hype. Been there two times and I'd say it's mediocre at best. Fries were cold. Burger was over cooked and dry. Tuna sandwich was basic and bland. I wanted to go to Cali Tacos but my friends wanted to come here instead. We would have had a MUCH better meal at half the cost. Haven't made it yet for breakfast so maybe that's the draw. read more

I've always wanted to try this place since it's near my house, didn't really know what to expect. The seating: When we walked in we were greeted and quickly took our seats by the register, which was honestly our first mistake! Those seats are waaaaaay too close to where you have to pay, a woman paying in line kept turning and hitting me in the back with her purse. The food: After getting our drinks the waitress came up to us and took our orders. I ordered an ultimate grilled cheese and my brother got a turkey on sourdough. We got them relatively quick and omg they were really good! Their house chips were pretty good too, the salad I didn't care for but it was just a side salad so I didn't mind. The service: we had let the server know we had never been there and her response was "ohh ok, what would you like to drink?" LOL I'm not telling you for shits and giggles I'm telling you because I don't know what you guys have, but whatever we ordered something that everyone mostly has. After she served our food and drinks she sat down on her phone in the corner and never once asked us if we were ok or needed anything, another server had to come over and refill our drinks! Right when we were about to leave I glanced to this small menu on the table next to ours and it was a long drink menu, how is it I'm getting ready to leave and just found out they have so many options??? My own table didn't even have the menu. Overall, the food was good the seating and service sucked. If I could leave a NO Star review I would. I have NEVER been to an establishment and been treated so poorly. After being seated and waiting for 15 mins for our drink order to be taken we are told that someone else would come around and take our food order. 4 girls behind the counter all chit chatting away and my partner and I waiting another 10 mins before I had to ask is anyone going to take our food order. The young lady proceeds to tell us they take orders in order if being seated but if this was the case the older couple who held our door open and was seated right in front of us could of not have already ordered and had their food in front of them. After stating to her we walked in right behind that couple with their food there is no way that there are 2 people in front of us to order she states "well I'm just telling you" and walks away. I have never to date been to an establishment where I almost felt as if I was being discriminated against for being the only minority in the building. We paid for our drinks and left. We came to this place based on Yelp reviews and it didn't disappoint. We started with the cinnamon roll and OMG it was big and delicious! My husband had the breakfast burrito which was the size of a small baby. I had a breakfast combo of eggs, bacon, potatoes and a biscuit. Everything was tasty especially the spicy potatoes! My husband said the burrito had more flavor than what we would get back home. After that cinnamon roll, we had plenty of food to take home. The atmosphere was quaint and had a rustic feel.
