    Ube Cheesecake
    Candy D.

Everything I've tried here has been delicious, but the real star of the show is their ube cheesecake. If you're an ube lover, this place is dangerous for your wallet because they have so many ube desserts that are worth trying. Every time I come, I end up wanting to order more than I planned. The shop itself is clean, cute, and well-kept. My only complaint is that during the summer, it always feels really warm inside. I'm not sure if it's the AC or just the Vegas heat working overtime, but I usually don't stay long because of it. I'd recommend getting your food and drinks to-go if you're visiting on a hot day. That said, the customer service is always great. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes the experience enjoyable every time. Between the desserts and the service, I'll definitely keep coming back. But that ube cheesecake? That's the reason I can't stay away.

Matiki Bbq is closed so I decided to walk over to grab me a delicious Crinkle Ube Cookie. A definite must try.

Whenever I'm in Vegas and craving ube desserts, Cafe 86 is an easy stop. I've had halo-halo all over, and honestly... I've never had a bad one -- and that streak definitely continues here. Lots of tables and open space. We ordered three versions to compare: Upside Down Halo-Halo (customized without the jellies) Upside Down Halo-Halo Traditional Halo-Halo What keeps bringing me back is the Upside Down Halo-Halo. It feels like a modern evolution of the classic Filipino dessert. Instead of being overwhelmed by mix-ins, you really get a stronger ube-forward flavor, which I personally love. The addition of boba gives it a fun texture, and skipping the beans makes it feel lighter and more dessert-focused while still keeping that halo-halo spirit. The traditional halo-halo still hits that nostalgic note -- shaved ice, sweetness, and layered textures -- but Cafe 86's upside-down version is where they really stand out. It's familiar yet updated, almost like halo-halo reimagined for a new generation. If you're an ube fan or trying halo-halo for the first time, this is a great introduction. Classic roots with a modern twist -- and proof that innovation and tradition can absolutely coexist in one cup.

Another weekly trip at my favorite Ubey-baby. Cafe 86 is proof that ube is a lifestyle, not a flavor Everything here is perfectly sweet, ridiculously good, and impossible to order "just one." I come for one dessert and leave questioning all my life choices--in the best way. Vegas has many temptations... this is my favorite one. 10/10, no rAAgrets

We came here after exploring red rock canyon because we were craving a cold treat. We ordered 3 of their signature upside down halo halo and 1 of their regular halo halo. The halo halo was very creamy. I liked that they used boba in their halo halo as opposed to red bean in halo halo which I'm not really a fan of. It also came out really quick, which we were very happy about. This cafe has a lot of available seating and has really good air conditioning which I appreciate. There is also a decent amount of parking available so parking isn't an issue here. I definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)

This is a cute cafe. There's a lot of tables to sit and look cozy enough to do some studying and small get-together. The staff was patient and helpful as there were quite the amount of pastries and drinks on the menu to choose from. I like that each pastry was already individually packed. The mais con yelo dessert and the drink (I forgot its name, sorry) was great. The tree leches was a bit too much ube flavor for me, but my husband liked it. The bread pudding was amazing. The mais con yelo bar was not really a favorite, it was pretty bland and dry. Overall, it was good experience and the food and drinks w bought were delicious. Not pictured: ube bread pudding

I got a marketing email and was able to snag one of the Valentine's Day heart specials. It was basically in very cute tin packaging, but essentially their Ube cupcake base with cream cheese frosting. It had the perfect amount of Ube taste and the cream cheese frosting and a perfect combination to it. It was super moist and not dry at all, which is what I like from café 86.

The cafe is located in a small shopping center and I stumbled upon it right after dinner. I opted for a sweet treat and service was okay. There was no one at the front to talk to or take my order until I finally locked eyes with someone and they came around to the counter. I finally asked about different desserts and ended up choosing the Ube Flan I wish I asked a bit more because I didn't realize it was more of a cupcake with flan on top, which was my fault. Flan was okay; not too sweet, but had a hard texture not really creamy and smooth. The Ube Cake was good, not amazing, and some parts were a bit dry. Together it made more sense. The dessert was about $6 after tip. So a bit pricey too! Overall I wanna come back to try some other desserts next time.

Can you spot the Star Wars collectibles in this pic? The sea salt coffee with boba was DELICIOUS!!

What a GEM of a coffee shop! The first thing we admired when we walked in was the life-sized models of Darth Vader and Chewbacca which immediately set the tone for our visit: unique and cozy with a tongue in cheek Star Wars vibe. The menu is extensive and includes some really fun coffee drinks with a scoop of ube ice cream right on top! My hubby snagged himself a cookie butter milkshake and I went with my caffeinated go to... iced coffee but with a sea salt float and boba! Holy smokes were both absolutely delicious AND affordable. My hubby is allergic to Oreos (I know.. what an unfortunate life roll amirite?) and they included them in his shake. When kindly asking if he could maybe choose something different from the menu instead, Alicia and Alison both hopped to making him a very literal BEST COOKIE BUTTER SHAKE EVER. He said he may just dream about this place and the shakes. That's HUGE as my hubby is pretty particular about his culinary delights. We will be back Cafe 86!! Thank you again!

First heard of this cafe on social, passed by the area one day so made a point to come try it out when we'd in the area again. Initially, we were intrigued because of the ube and filipino desserts, which we were happy with the choices. Then we were greeted with the Star Wars + Toyota AE86 decor and decided to hangout in the cafe while enjoying our desserts. We were immediately greeted by the cashier, who was patient as we navigated the menu while trying to keep our daughter's attention. They were also quick to get our order out. Ordered a strawberry calamansi cooler and upside down halo halo milkshake. Calamansi is a citrus fruit, popular in the Philippines, used for cooking and juices. It's similar to lemon and lime. Halo Halo (hah-low hah-low) is a Filipino dessert with ube ice cream, leche flan, beans, jellies and shaved ice. This cafe turns the ube and shaved ice into a milkshake with boba, with the added jellies at the bottom and the additional ice cream and corn flakes on top. We'll definitely be back to try more menu items and desserts!

I'm a major Ube enthusiast and any chance I get, imma come for my ube!!! Cute Ube Cafe in Spring Valley and they've got all things Ube! Def add to your Ube bucket list. We got the Upside Down Halo Halo, Ube brownie, Ube Truffle, Ube Butter Bar and Milo Cupcake. Space is pretty neat with life size Star Wars characters cleverly placed around. Friendly service all around.

Initially visited due to a hosted event but ended up ordering from the menu. Yelp has Cafe 86 highly rated, and since we're already here, might as well check out what they had to offer. Service: Being first timers, the cashier at the time was very nice and patient while we selected from the menu. Due to the ongoing event, I'm assuming the 15 minute wait for drinks is unusual on a regular day. Still warranted a 5 of 5 stars Food/Offering: Settled for the Halo Halo (like most folks that day) and Cali Mango w/ boba. I personally had the Cali Mango which was very good and the boba was cooked thoroughly. The Halo Halo, per my party, was noted to be good as well. 5 of 5 stars Overall: Nice little establishment with a life sized Darth Vader to greet you at the door. Seems like a cool place to hang out with friends. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Ask the Community - Cafe 86

Do they have enough seating for 30 people?

    Yes they do.

Why do you close so early? This is Las Vegas

It's a bakery and a tea shop. Most close early anyways. If you're looking for late night drinks try Cloud Tea.

Are we allowed to come in for socially distanced dine in?

No all seating is taped off

Does the ube truffles, ube crinkles, and ube butter bars need to be refrigerated?

Did they stop their reward program?

The last time I went there they no longer did rewards. I don't think they started it up again.

    Do they have non-dairy options?

    Yes they absolutely do!

What days do they have halo-halo bread pudding?

Any day of the week but they sold out fast so I'd recommend to go early or the time when they open.

Do they have lunch food? (ie savory options)?

They have grilled cheese sandwiches. My husband and I tried it and it was really good, very cheesy. They serve it with a heaping amount of potato chips.

Are the desserts marked if they contain nuts for those w nut allergies?

No you will have to ask them. They are very friendly and helpful.

What days and times is the ube flan available?

Any day of the week but its best to arrive in the morning when they open. They get alot of customers that buy in bulk. Do keep in mind with the recent opening and viral posts on social media with the Ube Craze has created a stir among foodie… Read more

I've seen this location on rainbow a few times and thought to stop by to see how the food is. Location is right by a little strip mall with cafe zupas and a yogurtland right next to it. We came on a tuesday afternoon for a lunch and parking was easy to find. We were greeted quickly and sat at a booth area. The smell of the food hits you as you walk in so that was a good sign. They served us water quickly as we looked at the menu. I ordered the sizzling pares which was tender marinated beef cubes with a side of garlic rice and an egg on top. My mom ordered the grilled pork chop and lemongrass chicken with the garlic rice. All of our dishes came with a fried egg on top. Everything was very flavorful. Highlight was the sizzling pares with the rice and egg. With the sweet sauce mixed in with the rice, it was perfection. We had a little bit of leftovers for lunch the next day and left satisfied. One thing that could be improved was the cleanliness. The booth that we were seated at was by a wooden panel. When the sunlight hits it at an angle, you could see the oil streaks and it didn't seem too clean. Floors were a bit dirty too. A little bit more cleanliness would make the atmosphere better. We would come again!

(2/5) - Great Service Can't Compensate for the Food…read more I recently dined at the Rainbow Branch of Mang Felix Kitchen with high expectations, hoping to enjoy authentic Filipino and Vietnamese cuisine. While the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff provided excellent service, the food was ultimately disappointing and did not justify the premium prices. The restaurant itself has a warm and inviting ambiance that makes it comfortable for families and casual diners. The waitstaff deserves recognition for being attentive, courteous, and efficient throughout our visit. Drinks and food arrived promptly, and they consistently checked on our table. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the restroom was a major drawback. It was not properly maintained and had a strong foul odor. A clean restroom reflects a restaurant's overall standards, so this is something management should address immediately. Food Review Combination Pho - 2/5 The broth lacked the deep, rich, slow-simmered flavor that defines a good pho. The ingredients were fresh enough, but the overall taste was bland and forgettable. For the price charged, I expected a more authentic and flavorful bowl. Sisig - 3/5 The sisig was average at best. It lacked the bold, smoky, and slightly crispy texture that makes this Filipino classic enjoyable. The serving size was relatively small considering the price, making it feel overpriced. There are many local Filipino restaurants that offer a more authentic and generous serving at a lower cost. Tocinolog - 2/5 The tocino was excessively greasy, overwhelming the sweetness of the meat. The egg was undercooked, which affected the overall presentation and enjoyment of the dish. Better preparation and attention to detail would significantly improve this breakfast plate. Tapsilog - 1/5 This was by far the most disappointing dish of the meal. The beef had an unpleasant aftertaste that lingered after every bite, making it difficult to enjoy. The portion was underwhelming, and the overall quality did not reflect the price being charged. It was one of the weakest tapsilog dishes I've experienced. Suggestions for Improvement Mang Felix Kitchen has the foundation of a good restaurant, but several areas need attention if it wants to compete with the many excellent Filipino and Vietnamese restaurants in Las Vegas. * Reevaluate the recipes to deliver bolder, more authentic flavors that match customer expectations. * Improve quality control so every dish is prepared consistently. * Review portion sizes and pricing to provide better value for diners. * Use higher-quality ingredients, particularly for signature dishes like tapa and pho. * Ensure breakfast items are cooked properly before leaving the kitchen. * Implement stricter restroom cleaning schedules and improve overall cleanliness throughout the day. * Regularly gather customer feedback and use it to refine both the menu and service. Overall Excellent customer service and a pleasant dining atmosphere can only go so far. In the restaurant industry, the food should always be the highlight, especially when prices are above average. During this visit, the quality, flavor, and value simply did not match the cost of the meal. There are many Filipino and Vietnamese restaurants in Las Vegas that offer more authentic flavors, larger portions, and better value for the same--or even lower--prices. I genuinely hope management takes customer feedback seriously, because with improvements to the kitchen, consistency, cleanliness, and pricing, Mang Felix Kitchen has the potential to become a much stronger dining destination. There weren't any new dishes compared to my first visit, and several items seemed to be made with lower-quality ingredients than I remembered. The service was just as disappointing. I came during lunch, and several employees were sitting together at a table eating with their hands while customers were walking around needing assistance. If I were to order anything again, it would probably be that. The location also didn't do the restaurant any favors. The surrounding area and parking lot felt a bit sketchy and weren't especially welcoming, which made the overall experience less enjoyable before I even walked through the door. As for the service, it was fine. The man working at the front was cordial and polite, and I didn't have any complaints about the customer service. Overall, I'd give this place three stars. While the chicken teriyaki was enjoyable, the rest of the meal fell short of expectations. Between the bland garlic chicken, mushy rice, unusual macaroni salad, and less-than-inviting location, I wasn't impressed enough to make a return visit.

Located in the Grand Canal Shoppes food court in the Venetian…read more Halo Halo is a small vendor spot but I was happy I saw them when I was walking around to find something to eat during a recent Vegas trip. There's plenty of seating since the food court has a number or booths and tables. After a quick browse of the menu, I saw Longanisa under the breakfast all day and I already knew I wanted it. The pricing was very affordable. My order was ready within 10 minutes. It was presented in a to go container. The Longanisa dish is basically a breakfast bowl with eggs and rice and a vinegar sauce. Anything that involves Longanisa is automatically something I gravitate towards. The dish reminds me of breakfast at home. I liked the mix of sweet and savory on their Longanisa and the eggs were tasty. It was a dish I needed to keep me fed and energized for a night out in Vegas. Lol. Solid Filipino food for those craving some in the Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes. ( ^_^)b
