Came here on a weeknight and the place was empty. Not one customer. Didn't see any workers either when I walked in. I walked to the kiosk and ordered the upside down halo halo. While I was at the kiosk, a group of three people came in and a worker greeted them with "Welcome In." I waited 12 minutes for my drink. When they called my name and I went to the counter to pick up my drink, three other halo halo drinks were at the counter for the group that came right after me. I understand that it might be more convenient to make four of the same drinks at once, but as one customer who came in first and ordered just one thing, I should not have to wait 12 minutes for my drink. Especially when there were no customers ahead of me. Plus, I saw 3 workers working there. I didn't understand why it would take so long to make. The upside down halo halo drink was refreshing. Loved the Frosted Flakes on top of the drink. The flan on top was good as well. I didn't care too much about the boba inside as it was super chewy and took awhile to chew. Overall, not a bad drink. While I was dining in, another customer came in and waited several minutes for someone to help them. No employee was at the counter. The customer literally had to try to get someone's attention in the kitchen. As an improvement, I think it would be helpful for one of the employees to be at the counter or at least keep checking now and then for customers. The place didn't close for another hour, so I can't see why they would need to start cleaning so early.
Come here for your Filipino desserts like halohalo and other ube treats and drinks. Got me an upside down halohalo or reverse halohalo. Last time got the corn maize which was good but too much corn after while
I love ube and I cannot lie and Café 86 did not disappoint. I got their ube upside down halo halo, and it was perfect for a warm, sunny day. It comes with ice cream and is packed with halo halo toppings, making every bite fun and satisfying. The best part was the flan. It's smooth and delicious. They also have a great variety of desserts and drinks, from espresso to shakes and tea, so there's something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit if you love ube.
Boyfriend brought me here for dessert after a birthday lunch. He told me to pick out wherever I want to go, and I chose Cafe 86 because the halo halo sounded good and I was in the mood for shaved ice (one of my fave desserts!), and we both enjoy ube desserts. I got the upside down halo halo, which instead of vanilla shaved ice topped with ube ice cream, it's ube shaved ice topped with vanilla ice cream. They were out of tapioca pearls/boba, so I chose lychee. I was expecting lychee fruit, but got lychee jelly instead. Once I dug into the halo halo, ngl, I was VERY disappointed. I expected shaved ice. Instead, I got a disappointing, mushy, soupy, melty mess of ube that tasted like a war broke out between pathetic attempts of shaved ice and heavy ice cream and exploded into a melted massacre. How does one even get shaved ice wrong? Boyfriend got the ube cheesecake and ube truffle. His choices were much better than mine. You know how things can leave a bad aftertaste? Honestly, the halo halo left me with a bad AFTERTEXTURE because it was so slushy in a bad way, so I ended up buying an Ube crinkle and Ube cashew brownie to get the lingering texture out of my mouth. The space is a lot smaller than expected. When we first arrived, all the seats were taken, but we got lucky when a party left after we made our order. Staff was incredibly sweet. My boyfriend wants to come back and try more Ube pastries, and said if he could, he'd buy every Ube pastry on the menu so we could try them all. I'm never getting the halo halo again here, but it's definitely worth coming back for the pastries. The ube pastries and seeing my boyfriend enjoy them so much with me is what saved this review from 3 stars, and gets 4 stars.
Cute ube themed cafe in Union City! Their drink deals are a great discount, we got the hibiscus calamansi and Thai tea. Of course, we had to try something ube flavored so we went their crinkle cookie, it was the perfect chewy texture and I loved the vibrant purple color. We went on a Sunday afternoon where the service was quick and most tables were full. I am happy to see they are open later than most places in the area too. Definitely need to try their halo halo next (:
Had seen this place on IG and had to stop by once I was in the area. So many options and goodies to try. Ordered the flan ube cupcake & upside down halo halo. YUMMY!! My first time trying halo halo- so many flavors packed in one sip/scoop. New fav dessert spot. I'll have to come back to try more things out.
This is tough because I've been on an ube kick and I've been wanting to try Cafe 86 for the longest time, but I think it fell flat for me. Located in a plaza, there's plenty of parking and free. The inside of the cafe is a decent size and I appreciate them using a self-order kiosk. Their menu is extensive, but during my 10-15 mins of being inside, most people ordered their upside down halo halo. We opted for a couple pastries and their ube matcha latte to go - the ube bar was a tad too sweet and the ube pop tart was dry. The drink was okay, but nothing worth stopping for in my opinion. The pastries looked good, but the ube bar was too sweet and the pop tart was dry.
What a delightful treat! We've been coming here ever since they opened in Union City, and it's been so nice to see their menu continue to expand. On this visit, we tried the halo-halo bread pudding after it was recommended by the cashier--and I was instantly sold when he mentioned it comes with a scoop of ube ice cream. It was the perfect balance of flavors: not too sweet, incredibly rich, and honestly addictive. Let's just say after the first bite, I had zero interest in sharing. My go-to, of course, is still the ube monster--an ube shake topped with Oreo crumbs. I do wish it came with a bit more Oreos, but next time I'll just ask (even if there's an extra charge, totally worth it!). The staff is always friendly, the shop is cute and cozy, and it's the kind of place you keep coming back to. Can't wait for my next visit when the sweet cravings hit again!
What a rip off to charge $4.00 each on a scoop of ube ice cream!!!!!!! I asked for the vanilla ice cream to be replaced with Ube Ice Cream on the upside down halo halo and I was immediate told that " there's a charge for that" wherein back when they just opened and have a line out the door, there's was no charge. My sister wants the UBE so she went ahead with it until she told me after she paid that she was charge $8.00 for them. WTH!!! How do you justified charging that amount for a tiny scoop not even a kiddy scoop mind you. You need to revisit your pricing or else you will lose more customers.
This is the only place to satisfy your Ube cravings. There was nobody during lunch when I arrived. Only a few people came to purchase takeout after I arrived. Since my Filipino friends mentioned how good their Halo Halo was, I decided to get their mini upside-down Halo Halo, which was the same size as getting a regular boba drink. I had to order without flan and cornflakes to prevent any sugar crash in the afternoon. The Halo Halo was Ube-licious, not too icy nor too melty, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a few jackfruit pieces, and colorful Nata de Coco filling. I even went home with Ube Cashew Brownie and Mais Con Yelo Bar. Both of these pastries were hard from refrigeration, so heat them in the toaster oven before eating. The Mais Con Yelo Bar was way buttery on the crust and had some corn bits inside the filling for a small bar. Ube Cashew Bar was like eating a brownie with crushed cashews. I recommend their Ube Cheesecake and Ube Flan Cupcake. This is the only location that opens late at 12:30 pm, while the rest open earlier. It gets busy after dinner. It's dim to dine inside, so I prefer to eat outside on a sunny day. Their kiosk doesn't let you tap a card during payment, so you have to swipe it the traditional way. No AMEX and cash accepted.
We ordered two halo halos (A mini and regular) and a truffle. Very good. Two adults and a toddler shared it and it was enough. We ordered on the kiosk. Decent amount of tables but they weren't clean and the inside was hot. Great for dessert It does get busy on weekends. We like Ube flavored things so will be back at one of the locations. I used to come here quite often when the location first opened up and there was a line out the door. Now there is barely any line and a self-order kiosk. My family and i really like their upside down halo halos. We havent ventured too much into the other items on their menu but we do occasionally try their ube pastries. I remember their ube crinkle cookie being to die for! I wasnt sure why i stopped coming here, but then i looked at the price and remembered why very fast! Honestly... worth it for a sweet treat every once in awhile!

After lunch, it was time for some dessert and our coordinator had halo-halo in her mind and brought us to Café 86. She said this location was the Bay Area's first location as they had five locations in SoCal and one in Vegas. The display case had delicious looking desserts, milo cupcakes, halo-halo bread pudding, ube butter bars, ube crack cheesecakes, ube tres leches, ube truffles and ube leche flan cupcakes. Their menu board listed the teas, milk teas, milkshakes, slush, expressos, lattes, and three sandwiches. But we were here for halo-halo. It had jackfruit, red and green gulaman, macapuno, boba, and other items, and topped with leche flan, corn flakes and a scoop of ube ice cream. It was a creamy version with a coffee flavor instead of using shaved ice and condensed milk. After mixing it up, it was milk shake like. I've never had this version as I was more used to it being made with the shaved ice and condensed milk. But it was good, tasty and a nice dessert after our lunch. At $8, the price is not bad compared to the $12 - $14 ones I've seen in the Bay Area. Glad Café 86 is now in the Bay Area offering halo-halo and other Filipino desserts. They had an upside down halo-halo, which my friend had and enjoyed. My choice for the next visit. read more

Came here specifically for the upsidedown halo halo and it did not disappoint!! I'm definitely wanting to come back to try their pastries and other drinks. It's worth the drive! Service was fast, even though there was a line already at opening. The shop itself is small and cute :) read more

I was really looking forward to trying the ube flan cupcake but was a little disappointed. The ube cupcake was good but the flan had a burnt after taste that I usually don't get with other flan's. Not sure if I just had a bad batch but it could have been better. The honey b milk tea was pretty good. Very sweet so if you like that, then you'll like this drink read more

I came for the ube desserts and left with my heart stolen by the Jasmine Calamansi tea. I'm a huge fan of jasmine and citrusy teas and the jasmine calamansi tea here is now my favorite around the area. You can taste a strong floral flavor from the jasmine and the calamansi adds a grapefruit mixed with lime flavor to it, incredibly refreshing! This is not to say the ube desserts weren't good, they absolutely were! Although, personally I might skip the flan cupcake next time since I thought the flan and ube cupcake didn't really complement each other. But they were still great individually. The flan was super eggy and the cupcake was extremely moist. I would get the ube cheesecake again. read more

Stopped by on a Thur evening & lucky us no one was in there but the workers, didn't get a friendly greeting but she did have a friendly face & was able to answer all our questions about the drinks & treats, so that made us happy customers. We ordered the MermaidT cause it's sounded good BUT, not too happy with that purchase cause it just tasted like jasmineT w/matcha powder sprinkled on top & not sweet at all, it's sounded purty good but tastes No Bueno. Cute inside & very cute wall painting for photos that's for sure. If your into UBE then this is a must visit place. Lots of parking, so that's not an issue. Park & check it out. read more

The first time I tried Cafe 86 was when I was in SOCAL, I am glad we have one in Bay Area! This place is packed so many people comes and go and it keeps coming! Employee's are great with taking orders and very patience with you when you can't make up your mind which cupcake you trying to order. I tried ordering each one of the flavors. Ube overload! :D Where do I start!!!! Upside down halo-halo OMG I just can't stop eating it with a spoon and a straw lol I was so shocked when they also added boba!!!! LOL where have you been all my life I was missing out! Cupcakes are so moist and not too overwhelming every bite was perfect combination and uniqueness of the flavoring it was AWESOME! Cute place. Quiet at night but got pretty busy Friday at 6pm. Come here pretty often. Classic milk tea was solid, not too sweet, good balance of milky, good textured boba. Ube Truffle dessert was also really good. Not usually an ube fan, but inside has a very dense/cakey texture of ube and it was great. Even the outside is very grainy/sandy(? not sure what the best way to describe it but it's a positive thing!) and crumbles perfectly. 9/10 read more
I don't usually frequent Filipino dessert places, so I was pleasantly surprised to see cafe86 and its bountiful list of ube desserts!! Upon arriving here 10 minutes prior to the opening time, I immediately was met by a long line. Which may have been indicative of the places credibility? Perhaps! The stores ambiance is very nice. Though a bit crammed, the music, voices and sound of workers all blend in to provide a nice environment to work. The wifi was free upon requesting the employees. The dessert was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised by the upside down halo halo (9/10). The 16oz hibiscus (8/10) was free(w the purchase of a pastry ) upon yelp check in so no complaints there. Not too sweet. Just right in my opinion. The flan ube dessert was really good too (8.5/10). Though the flan was not as fluffy as i would have liked it was a good balance of flavors. Would definitely recommend this place to the locals. Or even berkeley students that want a quick getaway from school! read more
I was ecstatic when I found out that Cafe 86 was opening up in Union City. I've been a few times at their Pasadena location (before it closed) when my sister lived there. So close to my work too. Now that you can order ahead online, I would place an order online and pick up during my lunch or after work. I've also received gifts from friends and students from Cafe 86, so let's just say I know the place quite well since they've opened. They have the best Halo Halo compared to Jollibee and other places in Union City. I don't understand all these negative reviews and complaints from other Yelpers. Yes the halo-halo you make at home is going to be better, but this is a small business, so they're not gonna give you all the fillings you want, so they can stay in business. I'm just happy that we have a Filipino business in this area. It is the only Filipino cafe on this side of Union City. All of them are on the west side and for someone who takes Bart to work, I am happy that they're so close to Bart. I also love their Upside Down Halo-Halo (lots of filling) and the Ube Monster Shake with Boba. As for their pastries, I love the Ube Truffle, the Ube Crack Cheesecake, the Ube Leche Flan Cupcake and Ube Butter Cake. I'm not a big fan of their Halo-Halo Bread Pudding. I'd like to try their other drinks next time. I hope they thrive in this area of Union City, so I can keep supporting them! :) read more

celebrated 8/6 day with a trip to cafe 86! it was super busy yet the line went by pretty quickly. got my strawberry calamansi cooler today for $2 ! i honestly love citrusy drinks so this was a fave of mine. my bf got the cookie butter milkshake which to me just tasted like a normal cookies & cream milkshake. pretty pricey drinks if it weren't for the $2 all day teas today. the milkshakes range from $7-8 depending on size. my bf's brother got the upside down halo halo and i was told it tastes really good ! parking lot is pretty small but also trying to keep in mind that there was a car meet today. would definitely recommend checking them out if you're around! read more
Was in the area with my boyfriends family and we decided to stop by Cafe 86. All of the drinks we got were very good! Upside down halo halo - 10/10: this was like a milkshake version of a halo halo? Either way it was really good and I'm kind of sad I didn't get it myself. I had one bite and instantly regretted my decision. Kouki monster milkshake - 8/10: plain Jane Oreo milkshake, nothing special Classic milk tea - 8/10: exactly what it was advertised as, but nothing special or wow factor. Boba was good and chewy, no issues there. Strawberry kalamansi cooler - 8/10: I was told that this tasted the exact same as a the dragonfruit kalamansi cooler, but the dragonfruit was a little more tart. I would describe this as similar to the Starbucks strawberry açaí but a little more tart! read more
I was craving something sweet after lunch and I had been wanting to try Cafe 86 for quite sometime! Ordered the Ube Butter Bar, Ube Crinkle Cookie, Ube Crack Cheesecake and the Hibiscus Calamansi Tea which was so refreshing! It was a great balance to all the Ube goodies, would definitely recommend. The star of the show is the Ube Butter Bar with Ube Crack Cheesecake as a runner up. Already looking forward to try some of their other menu items next time! read more

Cafe 86 is popular in Las Vegas but I have never gotten around to trying it so I'm glad there's now a location in the Bay Area! Initially I thought they offered ice cream on their menu however it's mostly milkshakes, lattes, and pastries. Their halo halo is a modern take on the traditional Filipino dessert. You can get it the normal way or upside down. Unlike a regular halo halo, Cafe 86's version is a creamy milkshake base instead of crushed ice mixed with evaporated milk. The result is a delightful smooth dessert that is easy to mix up with the toppings which include boba, jackfruit, and flavored nata de coco jellies. You also get a scoop of ice cream and flan on top. I really enjoyed sharing an upside down halo halo here, and nata de coco is literally my favorite thing. I will be back to try their famous ube truffles and more of their milkshakes! read more

The ube flan cheesecakes were so yummy! Maybe a bit on the sweeter side, but they were so decadent and delicious. The drink was good, I don't remember what it was called because the cashier recommended it to me, overall it was nothing super special. Came here to study with a friend. It's a small spot with limited seating, so it's not the most comfortable, but it worked. I'd come back for the ube flan cheesecakes and to try their other desserts, but I probably wouldn't study here again. I appreciate that this place exists though because I feel like there isn't much filipino cuisine around me! read more
I stopped by Cafe 86 after dinner one day and it was such a fun experience! My friend loves ube so we got almost one of each baked item to try. Our favorites were the cheesecake and the truffle - super decadent and flavorful but not too sweet! The flan and butter bar were good, but the other two definitely stood out. Definitely hyped up, but to their credit, they execute quite well. I've only tried a few things and so far, I've liked most things. The space is quite modern and hip. That laminated wood texture all over, a nice chalkboard menu, and some killer street art covers their back hallway. Very urban and hip, I can see why people want to chill here. Seems like they're trying to capture a part of the Ube craze that's hitting the scene over the past decade. Ube in some of their drinks and Ube in almost all of their desserts. I will also disclose that I am not part of this bandwagon but will appreciate a good dessert trendy or not. Good is good. Iced Coffee ($5ish/4*) Only got one size and it's monstrous, at least 20 oz. I hate that, forcing quantity on people. But if I go straight home, I can put it in the fridge and use it for 3-4 servings. Usually my pick me up before work. I also prefer a stronger roast flavor but it totally suffices. Flan/Ube Cupcake Combo ($7/$5) Pretty darn good. Though not sure I really get the Ube flavor. Pretty dense but moist cupcake on the bottom. Very nice crumb. I don't like super soft and airy cupcakes that remind me of boxed cake mixes. This tasted home baked to me. Then a firm and rich flan tops the cupcake. Very impressive looking as the height stacks nice and the color contrast between deep purple to creamy beige just pops. I found you'll get the best bites if your fork has both on it. Do not eat this separately. The textures between the 2 sweet desserts totally works. Pretty much cake n ice cream effect, just not frozen. Ube Cheesecake ($6/4.5*) Served in individual sizes. Very good. Again not sure if I really get a whole lot of Ube, but I sense it here more, than the cupcake. But damn good cheesecake for sure. Nice and tangy which I love with a graham cracker crust presence. Probably would never sit in, as the place is super tiny, like 4-5 tables squished in a small area, where people are trying to stand/order. Not my cup of tea. But for take-out during a time where I won't have to schlep in a long line, I'd be down no prob. read more

Friends were hyping up the upside-down halo halo and ube flan cupcakes served here. Unfortunately, the halo halo we got was filled with assorted jellys and cornflakes. Definitely NOT a traditional halo halo. It was way too sweet that it got me sick. The ube flan cupcakes were pretty dry, and the flan that sat on top was hard. I also got the ube bread pudding and that was spoiled. Dang it....I really wanted to like this place. Sad face! read more

Newly opened and located near Japanese Village Plaza. The ube case was mostly full but they advised that we could ask if we saw something we wanted and they would make it for us. The staff was so nice and patient when describing some of the menu items. I tried the monster ube milkshake, ube butter bar, and ube pop tart. The milkshake was good and it had crushed Oreos in it for chocolate-y flavor and texture. I wonder how it would taste with crushed up Ube crinkle cookies. The ube butter bar was so good. It was moist, the cookie crust was tender, and the bar had a slight Ube taste. I probably wouldn't get the Ube pop tart again. It was flaky and tender and good but it didn't taste like Ube at all. It tasted like a sweet pop tart, no flavor. I tried a bite of the turon pop tart and that one is the winner. read more

Finally made it here! We ordered two upside down halo halo. We love it. It's a bit too sweet for our taste but it is yummy. We will definitely be back to try other things! Staff was friendly. Place was easy to locate. And place is very cute! read more
What a real treat a Filipino boba cafe located in the heart of Union City their main specialty are the upside down halo halo comprised of purple yam, layer of shaved ice, condensed milk top off with vanilla ice cream and frosted flakes that along ube drinks and desserts. Bro and I came by on a Friday afternoon traffic was very heavy yet we were able to find a parking space right in front of the cafe. We were greeted by the staff and the interior is plastered with artistic drawings a real eye opener at that even along the narrow hallway. We both like the cafe though it's quite small, but they do have dine-in no outdoor seating which would have been nice. Their prices are very reasonable though the milkshakes and blended latte are a bit pricey so we chose milk tea I had the Thai tea and Bro had the tiger tea they came in regular size only both price at $4.99 regular iced half sweetness. Would definitely be back will check out the one in Mountain View and compare the two in the near future. By the way they don't take cash payable by credit or debit card only. read more

I don't get the hype with this place. I came here with with much excitement. I got the upside down halo halo and i felt it was too much going on. Ube drink with flan, jelly, boba and cornflakes. Maybe its the OCD in me, but it was too much going on. I know what i got myself into when i ordered this, it was sugar overload for me. However, i do plan on coming back to try their pastries. The service was good and i saw them sanitizing and cleaning the tables so overall, i'm sure this place is clean and have other options i might like. read more

Found this cafe on Yelp since I was craving some dessert. They're known for their upside down halo halo so that's exactly what I ordered. From what I've read, the base is a creamy milkshake with boba, jackfruit, and red and green jellies on the bottom that you can mix together. They do also include a scoop of ice cream, flan, and Frosted Flakes cereal on top, but the flan wasn't as smooth as I expected. Overall, the entire dessert was sweeter than I expected. read more

This is the perfect spot for ube lovers. We got the calamansi hibiscus tea with Boba (less sweet) and ube monster. The calamansi tea is great if you're linking for something light and fruity. The boba they added also tasted fruity. It was great. We also got the ube butter bars, ube truffles, and ube bread pudding. They were all good but the butter bars were the best! read more
This is Cafe 86's first Bay Area location. They have several in SoCal and another in Vegas. My daughter has been to the one in Chino with her friends a few years ago. We didn't have plans over the weekend so I asked my husband if we could take a quick drive to Union City to check out this Filipino cafe for ourselves. Plus ube everything seems to be all the rage still so why not. In addition, they offer a variety of tea, coffee, and shakes. Haven't experienced ube yet and don't know what it tastes like? Ube is a purple yam and has a slightly nutty vanilla taste. It is a popular flavor for Filipino sweets. When I was a kid and had birthday parties with my classmates, my mom would buy ube ice cream for the party. My friends assumed it was grape flavor since it was purple. They thought it was strange. Look at them now. They love ube! Cafe 86 is located in the City Center, a small shopping plaza with limited parking. It's pretty unassuming from the outside but once you enter, it's this "hella" cute and hip 90's vibe joint with fun purple tagging on the walls. We arrived five minutes before opening and there was already three people waiting in line. The wait wasn't too bad if you only ordered desserts. But if you wanted a drink, your wait time was much longer. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for our drinks to be prepared. Within minutes the line was crazy and out the door. Thank goodness we got there when we did. We ordered the Upside Down Halo Halo and the Ube Monster shakes. Both were incredible. You can really taste the ube flavor. The Upside Down Halo Halo was a show stopper. You get all the yummies of a traditional halo halo (red and green jellies, ice cream, flan, jackfruit, etc.) Instead of pinipig (pounded toasted rice) they use Frosted Flakes cereal keeping this version of halo halo fresh and modern. And yay! No sweet beans! But how disappointing to not have boba on a Saturday when they first open their doors at 12:30 pm. I would understand if I arrived at almost closing time and they ran out. That was a bummer because the shake was supposed to include boba. And at a hefty price tag of almost $8? The Ube Monster is an Ube shake with Oreo cookie crumbles. Also yummy. Now on to the desserts. We ordered two Ube Leche Flan Cupcakes, a Milo (chocolate flavored malt powder) Cupcake, two Ube Crack Cheesecakes, and a Chocolate Coffee Crunch Cup. I was super excited to try the Ube Leche Flan Cupcake. I assume this is what they're known for. The flan was great but unfortunately the cupcake was dense and sort of dry. Perhaps if it was filled with an ube whip cream or something to moisten or lighten it up? Doesn't that sound like a wonderful idea? Hint, hint! The Milo Cupcake was good but nothing too special. The Chocolate Coffee Crunch Cup was delicious. I can't say no to desserts in a cup. They just look fancy with all the layers. And those Vahlrona chocolate pearls took it over the top. I wish I bought two of those. But let's talk about the Ube Crack Cheesecake for a second. Oh my! So luxurious and creamy! That's crack I can stand behind. Was alright - ordered online, got there on time to pick up our order and still waited an extra 20 min.. The lines are ridiculous, they need a better system. Seems like the cashier does everything also from prepping drinks, packing the bake goods and then taking the customers orders. The halo halo was okay - as well as the ube leche flan cupcake, was thick too sweet. Parking is limited as the Cafe 86 is in a small plaza. As for coming back - no thanks. read more
We bought so much more food that was not pictured because we were starving! Just needed a break from work and came through when they opened at 12:30. It was such a chill vibe being there and there was no shortage of good food and cold drinks on a warm day. We've been wanting to come by for so long and glad we finally made it. Absolutely LOVED the u e deserts we ordered and we also had sandwiches. I've never went to the SoCal location, but every time my siblings would go they would bring some goodies back with them for the family! So now that I was able to get it fresh and whatever I wanted ... I wanted to try everything! HAHA I tried everything except for the milo cupcake, choco crunch cup, and ube crinkles (I bet this one is good though bc I've never tasted a bad batch ever). Here is my rating for each dessert: 1. Ube Tres Leche - 1000/10!! So yummy, I'm dreaming of it My favorite and sooo good. It taste like ube and the syrup or milk whatever it's soaked in is so yummy! The longer you leave it in the bridge, the better it'll taste... we'll see if my stomach agrees 2. Ube Butter Bar - 100/10 This one I can really taste the ube and my mom rates this dessert as the one that tastes the best out of the rest. It tastes like ube halaya which just makes the flavor so much better. Tastes the most authentic to me at least! 3. Ube Flan Cupcake - 100/10 I've tried this one before and I really like it! It's unique and I love flan!! Best of both worlds 4. Ube Truffle - 9/10 I'm not really a fan of truffle anything, but if you like truffles this is right up your alley! Worth a try 5. Ube Cheesecake - 7/10 I'm also not the biggest fan of cheesecake, a bite is good enough for me and I'm like over it but this one didn't taste like ube all that much 6. Halo-Halo Bread Pudding - 2/10 I wouldn't get this again ... just because it's a chunky bread!! It has a lot of stuff in it and of course halo-halo translates as mix mix so it makes sense it'd be like this.. just wasn't good to me :( 7. Ube Tiramisu - 0/10 Ugh I had high hopes for this, but I couldn't stomach liking it! I also tried the ube monster (ube milkshake), upside down halo-halo, iced ube latte, and regular halo halo! I liked it all, they also add boba in their halo-halo! I def recommend the upside down more than the regular one. I went around 1p on the weekend and luckily the line only took 30 minutes! How long are the waits now? Is it still a line out the door or has it died down?
Lines are not as long as the grand opening. From my experience- I arrived 10 mins before they opened. I was the 4th person in line. I went around 2pm and waiting 15 mins in line.
Do they have a separate line for online order pickup?
If you place an online order, you just head to the general pickup area and let them know.
What's the difference between the the Halo-halo and the Upside down Halo-halo shake?
The difference is that the halo halo has a vanilla ice cream base. The upside down halo halo has a ube ice cream base.

What are their non-dairy milk options? Also, do they have any vegan desserts?
They have soy and almond milk however any of the Ube drinks contain milk in the powder they use. You also can't get any of the milkshakes vegan. There is one vegan pastry but this location doesn't carry it right now.

I was able to order my drinks with soy milk :)
