Absolutely fantastic. If you're worried about the spiciness of the food... No problem... just ask them to make it with no spice/heat. I've had wonderful chicken dishes without the spice/hotness and I loved it. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are good. They also serve American and Mexican cuisine and various pizza varieties. Be sure to check them out. You'll be really happy. read more

5-star service, plus great food and environment. Went here for a late lunch after dropping off a U-Haul nearby. The service we received was top notch. We were treated so well by every person we interacted with. The place was clean and well-decorated. The food was hot and fresh, and the serving sizes were massive. There was something on the menu we had never heard of and the server even brought us a sample to try. This was a great experience and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal! read more

We stopped by Cafe 94 after seeing the reviews on Google. The restaurant itself is easy to miss but it's connected to the hotel. Service isn't the fastest and they seemed a bit confused about the menu offerings. We loved the expansive menu, only to be disappointed by the fact that they didn't have half the items on the menu. I was so excited to see baby corn Manchurian, wings, and kathi rolls - they were out of all of them. We had samosa chat, paneer tikka, chili paneer paratha, and mendhu vada. The food itself was terrific and very reasonably priced. They are also open super later which is great for Milwaukee! read more

Excellent service, and the location is really interesting. The restaurant part is renovated and redesigned, clean and pleasant. It's in a decrepit probably haunted abandoned motel that changed hands more often over the past few years than Taylor Swift changes costumes in concert. The biggest plus here is that unlike other South Asian restaurants, when I bring in tiffin, they don't act like they've never seen it before. Quite the contrary, they smile and load my order in nicely like my Indian wife would have done for me had I just married an Indian wife. Well probably not, an Indian wife in Milwaukee would be a physician or a computer engineer and wouldn't pack my tiffin, but they will here. They have a good lunch buffet that is best 20 minutes after they are scheduled to open (they never open the buffet on time). Indo-Pak restaurants always start out with the best buffets, then over time they start cutting back on the more expensive ingredients, and make the food milder and blander. Although not very spicy to my taste, the buffet is currently the best in town. Good chai (I'm not comparing to Starbucks that serves "chai tea," I'm comparing to other Indian restaurants that serve masala chai). They have a peculiar travel video show on the many big screen televisions rather than cricket, and bland American pop music instead of Indian music. Right off I-94, East on College, it's the first stoplight from the exit. Very close to MATC Oak Creek where there are extremely limited hours for cafeteria service. read more

I went here for lunch today. The food tasted good but they have a number of things to work on to make the entire dining experience great. Here's what we ordered: Lamb lunch box Chili paneer dosa Gobi Manchurian This restaurant is fairly new and you can tell they are definitely still working out the bugs. They seemed to have 6ish employees working but we were the only customers dining in (they seemed to have a few DoorDash/Uber eats orders going out). With us being the only customers the service was unacceptably slow. The meal started with a serving of papadam, raw veggies, and two chutneys. The papadam was broken into tiny pieces. Very odd. First up was the paneer dosa. The dosa was served with sambar, coconut chutney, and some sort of peanut chutney. The dosa's appearance was completely flattened. It didn't have the cylindrical shape I'm used to. In addition, there was very little paneer in the dosa. That being said the dosa tasted great! The sambar was also really tasty. Next up was the gobi Manchurian. This was a piping hot delicious dish. I may have enjoyed this the most from a taste and presentation perspective. Finally was our lamb lunch box. On the online menu i thought it said two naans but actually it was 2 pieces. The 2 pieces were naan halves so it ended up being 1 naan. We were also served white rice but the online men stated "flavored rice". The white rice was not good. It was not basmati. We mentioned to our server the discrepancy and he brought us basmati rice that looked like it was pulled from a biryani dish. This was tasty! The lamb curry and the daal were both very flavorful (although particularly with the daal you could taste the butter). The online menu said we would have our choice of dessert. We were not given a choice and was served a small pathetic looking gulab jamun that was clearly not fresh (frozen or canned). I told our server that I wanted to give him "constructive criticism" but I think he only heard "criticism" and he got really defensive. I really hope they take my feedback to heart and try to improve. This place has a TON of potential to be GREAT. They aren't quite there yet. Milwaukee doesn't have a ton of late night food options available so it's super exciting that this place is open late! I will DEFINITELY be giving this place another shot in the future. read more

Everything tasted top notch! Extremely courteous service. Don't get carried away by the location, inside it's pretty nice and cozy. They also have a cute little outdoor seating. I give it a 4 star because we visited them just few days after they opened and the bathroom cleanliness was not so great. You have an amazing kitchen staff. They bring excellent food! The food has a great flavor and large portions. I was disappointed to see that more people aren't dining in for dinner though. I was told that they have lunch buffet everyday, which I would love to try someday. Everyone there was very nice and attentive and they were more than accommodating for my to-go order. On business, I was staying at a hotel across from Cafe 94, and when I googled and saw that there was an Indian restaurant, ("Indian Fusion") nearby. I love Indian food, (my wife is from India), and I thought I would give them a shot. The place looked cool, was pretty large, and wasn't very busy. I asked to see the menu, and decided to sit down and order. The same young female that seated me, also was the server. At first, she was friendly and attentive, but then I didn't see her again until the end. I ordered samosas, as an appetizer, which were crisp, and actually really good. I also ordered the Pav Bhagi as my main course, and it was average, decent spices, but watery and plain. Overall, the food was okay to good. The service, however, became non existent! Earlier, she asked me 3 times if I wanted something to drink, but I wasn't in the mood, and water was fine. After that, I waited 5 minutes past finishing to see the server. Then I ordered kheer for dessert. After another 5 minutes, she came back and said they were out of kheer. No problem, I just need the check. The check comes a few minutes later, and I'm charged for the kheer! I know this was an honest mistake and I wasn't upset by this, but she almost made me feel like she was doing a favor taking it off! No apology or. "my bad". Then I asked if I could. "tap pay". She said yes, then asks if I was paying cash or card??? I told her I had no cash on me and was going to tap...or use a card. She seemed distracted and was not really paying attention to me. I tapped, but no option came up for the tip. She was talking on the phone, and to another girl at the front and I asked her how I can add the tip. She said, "You can use cash." WTF? I just told her I didn't have cash. Since she wasn't looking at me or talking to me, I wasn't surprised she hadn't been listening. I asked her again, and she said I could tap again or use my card. I did. No, "thank you", "how was it", "come again", totally ignored. I do a fair amount of business in the area, but if they don't appreciate my business, (and 30% tip), I won't be back. My husband and I recently traveled to Milwaukee for a memorial service and stayed at the hotel across the street. The service was friendly and the food was great! Would highly recommend the goat curry, garlic naan, and malai kofta. It was so good we went twice during our 2 night stay. This new place is worth checking out! read more

What a fabulous surprise! We were unexpectedly stuck in an airport hotel after our flight was canceled and we were rebooked the next day. Dinner... and dinner near the hotel was necessary. We found this little place a short walk away. Walking in we were warmly greeted and brought to a table. We had gobi Manchurian to start, and then chicken tikka masala and palak paneer. Everything was delicious! Perfectly cooked and seasoned to a perfect medium as requested. All the staff were only concerned we were enjoying our dinner and if we needed anything. Portions were generous which was a shame only because we had no way to use the leftovers. All the other patrons were East Asian...and seemed to be local. That's a ringing endorsement. Was visiting the city for the USAT nationals event and stayed at the hotel across the street, figured id give this place a try after my coworker telling me how amazing the food tasted. Great service (just be patient with them) seems like they just recently opened and are starting to get the hang of things. The restaurant is inside the clarion hotel kinda easy to miss if not paying attention but the inside is beautiful and clean with a open kitchen. The staff is very nice and welcoming. You should definitely give this place a try. I recommend the goat curry with garlic naan. read more

We figured why not try Cafe 94 because after reading their reviews we were confident the food quality would be as expected. This was our first time visiting the restaurant. The staff was so welcoming and patient in explaining the dishes since we were not familiar with South Indian dishes. We ordered garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, sambar vada, a vegetarian dish, and ghee pongal which was another recommendation from our server. My first time ordering from here, I got the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, veggie samosas, and a mango lassi. Everything was delicious! Most places make the chicken tikka masala way too sweet for my taste but it was perfect here. This place is amazing! We are in Milwaukee for college move-in, stuck staying near the airport because a political event downtown is clogging up all the downtown hotels. Looking for a late dinner near General Mitchell, we stumbled on Cafe 94 Indian Fusion because the ratings were good and it was open late. What a lucky find! The restaurant is attached to another area hotel so the menu is eclectic, probably trying to appeal to a wide audience. We only had Indian dishes, and the food is fantastic. Butter chicken was super flavorful and spicy. Egg curry, paneer tikka masala, pakora, and breads were all excellent as well. Dinner was preceded by papadums and some fresh raw veggies sprinkled with spices as a snack. There was a big birthday party happening in another part of the restaurant so there's ample space for such events. Despite the party, service was prompt and the servers were friendly and took good care of us. If you're looking for a tasty Indian meal, this is it--a must-try near the airport! read more
