We had dinner on Saturday the 19th of April and WOW!!! It was Great Food and Great Service! Both my wife and I were extremely impressed. I had the Butter Chicken and my wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala. Mine I ordered mild and my wife's was medium. We enjoyed every bite

We stopped by Cafe 94 after seeing the reviews on Google. The restaurant itself is easy to miss but it's connected to the hotel. Service isn't the fastest and they seemed a bit confused about the menu offerings. We loved the expansive menu, only to be disappointed by the fact that they didn't have half the items on the menu. I was so excited to see baby corn Manchurian, wings, and kathi rolls - they were out of all of them. We had samosa chat, paneer tikka, chili paneer paratha, and mendhu vada. The food itself was terrific and very reasonably priced. They are also open super later which is great for Milwaukee!

    Nice new IndoPak place.

Excellent service, and the location is really interesting. The restaurant part is renovated and redesigned, clean and pleasant. It's in a decrepit probably haunted abandoned motel that changed hands more often over the past few years than Taylor Swift changes costumes in concert. The biggest plus here is that unlike other South Asian restaurants, when I bring in tiffin, they don't act like they've never seen it before. Quite the contrary, they smile and load my order in nicely like my Indian wife would have done for me had I just married an Indian wife. Well probably not, an Indian wife in Milwaukee would be a physician or a computer engineer and wouldn't pack my tiffin, but they will here. They have a good lunch buffet that is best 20 minutes after they are scheduled to open (they never open the buffet on time). Indo-Pak restaurants always start out with the best buffets, then over time they start cutting back on the more expensive ingredients, and make the food milder and blander. Although not very spicy to my taste, the buffet is currently the best in town. Good chai (I'm not comparing to Starbucks that serves "chai tea," I'm comparing to other Indian restaurants that serve masala chai). They have a peculiar travel video show on the many big screen televisions rather than cricket, and bland American pop music instead of Indian music. Right off I-94, East on College, it's the first stoplight from the exit. Very close to MATC Oak Creek where there are extremely limited hours for cafeteria service.

The food was fantastic but the servers really pushed the drinks hard as well as the naan to the point it felt a little gross.

We shared three dishes amongst the four of us, and there was still plenty to take home. There are no meat/fish options, just to be aware. But honestly they don't need it because the food is so good! They have tons of seating and cute cloud light decorations. I will definitely be making my way back! I didn't have room for dessert, but they had a full deli style display of dessert options which look amazing!

Everything tasted of cumin and garam masala. Mix it up, folks! How about some garlic and ginger? Maybe some coriander, mustard seed, cinnamon, or turmeric? The desserts were hit or miss, but that's to everyone's preference. What was noticeable, though, was that some tasted stale, maybe leftovers from yesterday? The fresh naan, though, was brought warm to the table and was buttery and delicious. But we were nearly done with our meal but the time we got it. On that note, service was practically non-existent. No one asked us if we wanted drinks, we weren't able to order anything special. It was buffet and water or nothing. No one came to check on us. We even had to ring the bell several times before someone came so we could pay. I'm used to the fabulous Indian restaurants scattered throughout the Milwaukee area. Now that I've moved to South Milwaukee, was hoping this might be the new go to. Sadly, this one misses the mark.

Growing up, there weren't any Indian places to get food from, so when I saw an Indian restaurant, I was excited! I have been living in Orlando for the last 20 years and I eat Indian food at least once a week. I am also spoiled to have an Indian grocery store nearby and I purchase a large box of frozen samosas so I can throw them in the air fryer whenever I have a craving in front of the TV at night. I was getting ready to leave downtown and head back toward my niece's house and wanted a small snack to hold me over for the hour drive. I decided to try this restaurant for a unique combination of Indian and Pakistani food. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, Samosa chaat. I was very specific and asked for it to be vegan. In the meantime, I needed to use the restroom. As I made my way towards the back of the restaurant, my shoes began to stick to the floor. This was quite a bit of a turn off but I dismissed it as perhaps a mess that wasn't able to be thoroughly cleaned yet. When I went into the ladies room, there was no toilet paper. I had to go back out into the restaurant and ask for toilet paper which seemed to be a small ordeal for them. Needless to say, the toilet paper situation was resolved and I discovered a sticky floor in the bathroom as well. I started second guessing my choice of a place to eat. Again, I dismissed it And went to sit down at my table where the floor was sticky yet again. I should've left at this point. I looked around the restaurant and I noticed that there were three other tables of people eating the food and chose to stay because of that fact. When I received the Samosa chaat it was smothered in both tamarind and cilantro chutney (most cilantro chutneys are made using yogurt and I requested a vegan entree...unsure if this chutney had yogurt.) The samosas were made out of wonton wrappers and deep fried. The potato used inside was completely flavorless with some being so overcooked it was like mashed potatoes and some being so undercooked, they were as hard as rocks. There was no spice. My nose should've been running while I was trying to eat this. The channa masala on the dish was tasty but cold. The red onions had the most flavor of all of the ingredients on the plate. But I couldn't get passed the potatoes and left 85% of the dish uneaten. (I failed to get a photo ) I am thoroughly disappointed and bummed out that I couldn't find good Indian food in my hometown after all these years. Perhaps I'm spoiled by the large Indian population in Orlando. I shared my critique with the gentleman who took my money and I was told that they would try to do better next time. Well, there will not be a next time.

I am not sure what business was in this location prior, but Vanakkam has done a wonderful job decorating. The restaurant is very nice inside. We both ordered a drink, I went with an Indian beer that was very delicious that paired perfectly with my meal. We both ordered different vegetarian dishes and bravely insisted we can handle lots of heat. This is your warning, as much tolerance as you think you have, they are able to elevate the heat levels above it! Both of us THOROUGHLY enjoyed our meals even with how spicy they were. The garlic naan and mint chutney really helped cool us down and were perfect compliment. I cannot wait to return and continue to try ore items on their menu. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
