    Cevapcici - small
    Robert W.

I was looking forward to coming back since my return. The food did not disappoint. I would say this is probably the best Bosnian place I know or have eaten in the Houston area. The menu is pretty much the same or consistent to what was there before I left. A couple fail safe choices I would recommend to anyone for their first visit is their CEVAPCICI and their Burek. Other recommendations is their Sarma and Japrak. Most Bosnian dishes are beef and protein forward dishes so get ready to exceed your protein intake for the day. All the options are very healthy, either grilled or don't have an excess high starch / fatty additives. They have a good assortment of wine dishes to choose from and would also recommend adding any of their coffee choices. I should have asked what beans they use but the taste is rich and smooth and doesn't have the overheated bitter taste to it either. Overall I would suggest for all to definitely come and try any if not most of the options they offer.

Hummus was tasteless. Bread was so greasy. Meat was hard lumps of semi raw gristle. Salad was not dried so a puddle of water in bowl. The worse meal I have ever had

Whoa, Bosnian flavor jackpot. We got the large platter to share to try everything, European wine and beer, and their cheese burek, and wow... my taste buds are still throwing a party. The cheese burek? Flaky, cheesy, and dangerously comforting. The platter? A symphony of flavors that are very protein forward and a little taste of Bosnia. Drinks? Smooth and the perfect complement to the meats. Easy to make reservations via OpenTable. Service was attentive. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and want to try a different cuisine.

Great Bosnian cuisine. Try the Sakavci....Bosnian meatballs served over pasta. The Cevapcici sandwich, I got the large, traditional Bosnian style grilled beef links served on a tasty lepinjas bread...yum. The Turkish style coffee is great and don't forget to try a dessert. Amazing people work here, they made us feel right at home. We had excellent service from Maria. And we had a wonderful visit with the owner, Kamal. Some of the best food in Houston. You've got to check this place out. Don't forget to try the mouth watering desserts and the Turkish coffee!

Just wanted to say, first time eating Bosnian food and I love it. Service was amazing and the Turkish coffee was delicious. Can't wait to come back on Friday.

Amazing little restaurant with Bosnian and Croatian food. They also have traditional Turkish coffee!! Everything was freshly made to order. Loved the stuffed pljeskavica sandwich. Service is great!

We have had this restaurant on our list to try for a while. We have been to Bosnia and absolutely loved the food so it kind of reminds us like we are back there. The food is absolutely delicious, freshly made, and made to order. The inside of the restaurant is really cool and they also have outside seating. The wait staff is super nice and helpful with navigating the menu. Can't rave about this place enough all around a great restaurant. I highly recommend!

Late review but better late than never. Came here for dinner a few weeks back because I was surprised to see that they had reopened. I remember them when they used to be at their old location when my dad and I would go and get the food to go whenever my mom didn't feel like cooking. Fast forward to the new location near the Galleria area and they are so cute and the food is as good as I can remember. To start the night, we got the fried cheese (ackwai cheese), stuffed cabage, and for the main we got the mixed platter. Dessert was the tiramisu and had to end the night with a traditional Turkish coffee. The main star of the night for me was the fried cheese. In particular, the red pepper roasted sauce. I could literally eat it with anything! I actually kept it on the side until the very end of the dinner. The sarma (cabbage rolls) are a well kept secret because for as good as they were, there should be a line out the door!!! The mashed potatoes and rice were a bonus with this dish. The mixed platter consisted of several different meats including cevap (a Bosnian sausage?), a flattened meat patty, beef skewers, and some grilled chicken. The salad that it came with had a very nice dressing that kept things well balanced. Unfortunately the chicken skewers were dry and boring compared to the rest of the literal meat feast going on. To end the night we got the turkish coffee and the tiramisu. The tiramisu had just the right level of sweetness and the coffee cut right through the sweet bitter notes of the dessert. Perfect date night spot and one of Houston's hidden gems if you want to get away from the usual food scene.

The calamari was a bit over fried but we loved the remoulade sauce it was served with. I enjoyed the crab cake there was plenty of crab meat.
