The gf and I wanted to try a different Vietnamese restaurant and saw that this place got good reviews and an even better name. Tiny little place with about 6-7 tables that you have to be on the lookout for or you'll just drive on by without even noticing. I had the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (bun bo hue), it was very good. Not as spicy as I thought it would be but I like really spicy so maybe that's just me. Tons of meat and a bone with marrow hidden at the bottom of the bowl. My gf had a seafood noodle soup, can't remember the name but she enjoyed it. I plan on going back and trying the pho before I say it's better than Pho Kien Giang just up the road, but this place is definitely in the running. read more

Update: I was visiting a friend in the area and she insisted to eat here. I have had a bad experience in the past but I believe in second chances. They have extra staff now and it seems like they have remodeled and added anew air conditioning. Food was fresh and taste good! I will be back to try other items on the menu. read more

Not really sure about this place. I saw all the other reviews and so I rushed in, completely excited. First off, the smell from inside here was appalling, just nasty. Food is good but the new location's service is AWFUL. They've been open probably about a year or more now and it still has not improved. They simply were not ready for a bigger space and the increase in customers that came with it. Even the old place had iffy service but it was small enough to manage. We literally got up and left after an hour of waiting for our food! This place is really great. We've been here a couple times and it's very casual but totally traditional and family owned. Food was very good and if you are adventurous then this is the place to go. At first we went because we couldn't imagine that a restaurant would have such a name. But of course we read a few reviews and decided to venture in. Now we've been here twice and both times the food was exceptional. You can't help but feel like you are in a family restaurant with grandma in the kitchen and children and grandchildren working the service end. We definitely will go again soon. read more

Small little Vietnamese place, know for their duck soup. They do it well and have a couple of other specialties they are known for.

I went with a group to Bich Nga for weekend's lunch. Like always, I ordered my favorite spicy beef soup (Bun Bo Hue). Someone else ordered Bun Mam, so I was able to try both. Many people said how good the spicy beef was, so I gave it a try. My group agreed that the food is only mediocre. The Bun Bo Hue was not spicy at all, somewhat unusual. Bun Mam did not have a lot of meat. I will come back to try them again, but for now, 3/5. read more

Monday night..... My family and I were in a mood for some Pho. We were the area and did some searching and this nice little place. We walk in and no one greeted us... So we decided to sit ourselves. The place were really small and two people were dinning in. But We still waited another 5 minutes before anyone came over to our table. Finally the server came out but he was still chewing on some food which he choke on in front of us. Left us the menu and walked off. We continue to sit there not knowing if he is coming back. One of the best bun bo hues I've ever had. This place is a dump though. Expect no AC.

My favorite thing to get here is Bún Bò Huê. It's a Vietnamese spicy beef soup dish. The only problem is most of the employees prefer not to speak English. So it might be hard for them to describe some of the dishes for you. read more

Alright, here's the skinny on this place. They are known for their prized bun bo hue (BBH) - if you like spicy beef noodle soup, this is the place to get it. Their bun bo hue broth is so good that I didn't even have to add anything extra to it - ate it freshly served. The other entrees do not stack up to this BBH winner. It's a small place so it's a very popular take away spot. But I advise you, eat the BBH at the restaurant because fresh broth is better than warm broth. I've had both of their duck noodle soups, bun rieu, their pho broths, rice dishes and their vermicelli bowls - bun bo hue is their winner. Come here for the bun bo hue, go to other restaurants for other entrees. I know this place is a BBH winner when all the Vietnamese people come here to eat the BBH. read more

I just left this place a little bit ago. One of the worst experiences I had for awhile at a restaurant. The skinny Vietnamese guy, he was the only server there, I believe he's also the owner was a complete ass. When I first came in there was only 2 customers there and I was the third one. He was nice and such at first. Then suddenly more customers showed up and he got pissed (wtf, right???). He even said it out loud in Vietnamese like "what the hell? where did all of these people come from?". Most people at the restaurant were non-vietnamese speakers so of course they didn't know what he said. Then after that he turned to be a complete asshole. He was rude and all. When I came to check out and the chip on my card didn't work, then he started bitching about it. He said that my card was malfuctioned and requested another card. I told him I was aware of that and asked him to insert it three times then it would ask him to swipe it and just swipe it and it will work. He said he instered 4 times already but it still didn't work. Apparently he got all frustrated and distracted because there were too many customers came to his business and he couldn't keep his mind straight to do it right. He kept reseting the machine everytime he inserted my card. So he gave the card back to me and I told him let me try it. While I was doing his freaking job for him, he stood there and mumbling in vietnamese something like "I've been doing this for years and your card doesn't work and it will not work". As soon as he finished saying that my card worked and the machine started to print out the receipt. He got embarrassed and became even ruder than before. At this point I could not hold it anymore and I let it all out. I told him in Vietnamese: "dude, chill out, it's your business, why do you complain so much?" and he said "it's your freaking card did not work, and I have so many customers here to serve". And i said "it worked, it's just you who don't know to do the job properly". Anyway, it's so strange to see someone that gets so mad and frustrated when their business is doing so well. Before I left the restaurant, I told him that I will never come back here again even it was my first time there. The seafood noodle soup that I ordered tasted below average anyway and I couldn't even finish the whole thing. Overall food is 3/5 and service is 1/5. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Their signs says they are open until 10:00 we got there at 9:30. When we walked in you would have thought I had 3 heads. I asked if they were serving they said they close I 10 minutes. I said the sign says 10:00 she sat us and was clearly upset we could not understand what anyone was saying but the hovered over us and tried to tell is they only had a couple of items.
