I ordered online and saw a ton of really good coupons; I picked the small pizza and wings for $9.99 and got a side salad (their minimum was $10 before tax). They quickly arrived within 30 minutes and I have to say, the pizza was so amazing. I think something in their crust is what really hooked me. It's not too thin and the pizza wasn't greasy at all. I simply just got three toppings (olives, chicken, and tomatoes) and in its simplicity, it tasted so fresh. I was mostly impressed by the quality of the side salad I got. Usually places skimp and give you some crappy veggies, but I got fresh sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, peperoncinis, and croutons. The salad was huge too for under $5. I order delivery from this place whenever it's super hot or pouring rain outside. I work up the street so it's quick and their minimum order amount for delivery is only $10! Big thumbs up there! I normally get the gluten free crust which is thin and delicious. Pineapple, pepperoni and jalapeños is my jam! I just had the plain cheese personal pizza and that was yummy as well. Salads: The greek is my favorite. It's always crisp and cold with plenty of toppings! The delivery guy is always super nice and patiently waiting for me to walk to the door from my desk. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, the French fries, and an extra large pizza with Ham, sausage and Bacon. I started with an Anitpasto salad. The salad was delicious, very fresh and the dressing was tasty. My husband said the mozzarella sticks were "perfect" We enjoyed the ingredients on the pizza but we should have ordered a vegetable because the pizza was slightly greasy. I couldn't have minded too much if they had just called to tell me it was coming late. I had to call GrubHub twice to get an update and make sure that food was actually coming, and I didn't have to rely on my contingency plan (baking the sad, withered potato that lives in my fridge). I love the fact that this place delivers personal SPECIALTY pizzas. What a god-send for indecisive eaters like myself. I've ordered delivery from Bambino's twice already, and both times they have delivered a satisfying meal. If you're a big fan of cilantro and BBQ, definitely try their BBQ Pizza. I am a bit sad that they forgot my extra bacon :(. I would recommend getting their pizzas cooked well done if you like crispy crusts, otherwise it'll be a bit doughy. I wanted to try something different in way of pizza. So I found this little gem of a place on Eat24 app. We ordered 2 personal pizzas, so we can try a couple different pizzas and a salad. 1st pizza was the breakfast pizza which I love breakfast anytime of the day and why not in a pizza. I loved it with one exception I wished the egg would have been added at the end cooking so we can get a little of that silky yolk that I so love about an egg. Then we had the Mexican pizza which was so delicious love the flavors and the spice was right on. The salad was the Bacon Avocado salad which was fresh, delicious and enoughfor 2 people or maybe 3. The bacon was perfect not over cook or under cooked smokey and salty. The avocado added a creaminess and the fresh tomatoes cut through the rich avocado and the smokey saltiness of the bacon. I definitely would recommend this place but be forewarned that if you order delivery it's a little less then an hour but worth the wait, just make sure your not starving because it might cloud your judgement of the place like many reviews on here. For years, the hubs and I have been on a quest to find our favorite pizza in the SGV that we could both agree on. We struck out many times and our list of what makes up a perfect pizza were never realized....until we tried Cafe Bambino. Yes, it's in a car wash, and that's weird, but it's also kind of cool, and who cares?? Their pizza is amazing and you can get your car cleaned while you wait. What's not to love. Here's why hubs and I agree this is our favorite pizza place: crust is the perfect width and texture, the sauce is savory but well balanced with the right proportion of sauce to crust to cheese ration, the pepperoni is the thin kind that's a little spicy, AND they make great ranch dressing. Also, their wings are pretty delish too, but fair warning, these hot wings are definitely caliente. This pizza checks all the boxes for me and we'll continue to order from her on pizza night, even though it's 20 minutes away and we drive by 12 pizza places on the way. Girls night at my house called for pizza! I didn't want to order from Pizza Hut or Dominos since I like trying local pizza places in Pasadena. I Yelped pizza delivery and this place popped up. I scoped the menu/prices and liked it. My approach is if they make a simple pizza then I approve. I ordered 2 medium pizzas: 1 with pepperoni and the 2nd half black olives, half cheese with a side of jalapenos. The guy took my info/payment over the phone and estimated an hour delivery time. The delivery actually showed up within 40 mins. Pizza was delicious. I always try the crust because you can get a sense of how yummy the dough is and it tasted good! After ordering on Yelp, I waited an hour and a half and called the shop to find out where my pizza was and spoke to Henry. He let me know that my contact number was wrong and that he had the driver stay as long as possible before returning to the store. Basically, I was the knucklehead that didn't have his info right but Henry was cool about it and sent the driver back with my pizza. I've ordered delivery from Cafe Bambino's twice and will be ordering again soon. The quality of their pizza is surpassed only by the quality of their customer service. The first time I ordered, the pizza was of surprisingly good quality and really delicious. The second time I ordered, there was an error with the delivery system I used and I wound up not getting my pizza. However, a man named Henry from the restaurant called me the very next day to attend to the problem and not only refunded me, but also offered me a free pizza as compensation for the trouble. When he found out my boyfriend was visiting, he was considerate enough to upgrade the free pizza size to a Medium so we would have enough. Cafe Bambino's will definitely be my go to pizzeria from now on. Side Note: After ordering from both Pizza Man and Cafe Bambino's, I feel I must warn others to not order from Pizza Man. They have the same prices, but it's awful just how much worse the quality and taste of Pizza Man's pizza is. Pizza Man's pizza made me feel a bit ill with how greasy it was and they don't exhibit nearly the same level of care and craftsmanship that Cafe Bambino's does. Pizza Man is worse than Domino's in quality and taste. Just order from Cafe Bambino's. You won't be disappointed. read more
